We had a terrific booking experience once again with *** ******l while booking our ******* Vacation - Country Roads of Northern Italy vacation for June, 2024. *** is always ready with answers to our questions and is thorough with the information he provides. He goes above and beyond our expectations with his level of service. This is why we have booked through *** for a 3rd time in a row (all European trips).

I have been booking with Tripcentral for many years and I have always been pleased with the service of their agents. After a few years of no trips around COVID, we decided to travel again this winter. It took more time and thinking this time - things have changed, prices went up, I forgot the drill. But ****, the agent, answered all my questions, sifted through several options, offered to notify the hotel about our preferences, and was infinitely patient. No issues with booking - got set up with a good price and a nice resort.
However - Beware that your agent will send you emails completely unrelated to your trip - and may cost you if you aren’t careful. It was our first time
traveling to puerto vallarta and we were sent an email titled “steps you must take before departure to Mexico”. Within this email we were told travellers to Quintana Roo must prepurchase visitax which is $18.80 usd per person. We just assumed because our agent was sending us this email that it must pertain to our trip - especially being titled STEPS YOU MUST TAKE. Turns out this is for travellers of cancun. When I reached out for a reimbursement I was told that if I simply ******* Quintana Roo I would see puerto vallarta is not in this region - why was this email sent to me again??? No accountability for essentially spamming customers with deceiving emails. Beware that this agency will not even refund $37.60 for a simple mistake - I can only imagine how badly this would go if it was for a larger sum of money.tripcentral.ca

Thank you for sharing your feedback here. As previously mentioned, our agency utilize a standardized automated email system, a practice common for all tourists of a particular country. In the correspondence from your agent, the applicable tax for specific destinations were outlined.
We acknowledge that this might be your first time in Mexico, and we appreciate your concerns. However, a simple call to any agent could have clarified any uncertainties before making the payment for the in applicable local tax. The responsibility for willingly paying an inapplicable local tax, before seeking clarification or conducting a search, does not lie with the agency.
Regarding our after-sale emails, our objective is to offer informative assistance to both new and frequent travelers. We maintain that your email was not misleading, as it distinctly indicated the specific destinations related to the tax. We point out that the tax payment was made directly to the government of Mexico, and our agency was not involved in the transaction. Consequently, we do not have control over the funds you directly paid to the government of Mexico.
For future reference, we recommend reaching out to our agents if any confusion arises, as they are readily available to provide clarification and assistance.Review fromsean a

They clearly don’t care about THEIR OWN policies, or their customers.
Their policy is if the prices go up, they don’t go back to the customer to get more money… **** ****** * ***.
4 of us purchased a trip, not even a week later they come back telling us we HAVE to pay more ($1,080 more) or we can’t go.
They professionally said “sucks to be you”.
We travel as a group, between 4-10 people every year, definitely will not be dealing with ***** **** ****** again.
They give a good price for you to buy, then make you pay more or you can’t go.

Dear Client, yes were were aware of this situation that occurred and it is very rare that it happens. **** *** the supplier did have a technical problem with their pricing system. The trip was booked and secure and we were notified that **** *** was not going to honor the prices. The glitch affected the advertised pricing for your specific package and **** made a decision that they were not able to honor the said rates. **** *** gave clients booked the option to cancel with a refund or pay the correct price. Tripcentral.ca did have a few file affected by this **** *** pricing situation. The tour operators and our suppliers control the pricing. We totally understand your frustration in regards to this occurrence and it does not happen often. Our intention is not to trick , deceive , fool or bait and switch our customers in anyway. We are a honest and forthright company with the best intention to provide accurate and correct pricing and information on our website. In this case it was an exception as the supplier refused to take the booking at the advertised cost. Our upper management team was advised of this and discussion between the supplier and tripcentral.ca did take place as to how an why it occurred and hopefully rectified so that it doesn't happen again in future. I booked online a 7 days all inclusive trip to St. Lucia last July 11 for 6 people. Trip central sent me an E-ticket for all of us, 3 couples (husband and wife) with the booking# for TripCentral and a reservation code for online check-in for *******. And for some reason, one couple doesn't have the Reservation code on the E-ticket I received from TripCentral. I need the reservation code for the 3 couples as we're planning to buy and select pre=paid seat from *******. I called Tripcentral agent, ***** ******, which was assigned to me by Tripcentral saying if I have issues and concerns about our trip to St. Lucia. When I was talking and explaining my concern about the missing reservation code of one couple, to this agent, ***** ******, she immediately told me she can't help me with my concern because I booked my trip online and not directly with the agent. She was telling me that she needs to get paid by calling and checking with ******* and waiting for 4hours to get the reservation code from *******. The Trip Central should not allow nor employ this agent, ***** ******, as she is more concerned and interested of her commission rather than helping and giving customer support to a paying customer whether the package is booked online or directly with an agent. This kind of behavior and attitude of ***** ****** ruins the good reputation of Trip Central. A paying customer like me doesn't deserve this kind of shameful and arrogant treatment from a Trip Central agent named, ***** ******, I am writing this review to tell and share to people planning to book a trip from TripCentral the bad customer support and arrogant treatment I'd experienced with this agent ***** ******. We did hear that our agent explained that the tickets once received would have the correct information for you and that the booking was made showing all clients booked on the file correctly. Our agent could have gone the little bit extra to try to satisfy all your questions and concerns , for this we apologize. We will be addressing this with possible training so that the agent can obtain the information required and handle the call better in future.

1 starI purchased the flex insurance so I could cancel for any reason up to 24 hours before departure and could change my trip. Yesterday I contacted tripcentral to change my trip as my dog needed surgery. They did not change the trip and now the price went up and expect me to pay the price change.
