      **** **** *** *** ********* ****** ** ** **** *** **** ************ BMO is so out of whack in comparison to even your ****** regional “no-name” bank and trying to get customer support for ANY issue, make sure you take time off work. Because they won’t help you after hours. Only way I cheated that rule is by calling support and hitting “3” saying I wanted to have credit card charges disputed (I don’t have a BMO credit account). What do you know, they answered right away! And then I asked about my issue, was put on hold and never answered. Absolute joke and travesty of a bank.

      Terrible service and will do things like cancel your card, change your account number without contacting you. Send information to addresses 5 years out of date, even though they have current one on file. This is for a small business account. And they don't care.

      BMO Has my own money invested in to their bank I am asking them to BMO this structure plan was done without my consent no one explain to me nothing there was no translation no interpreter because English my second language and I didn't sing any document with BMO but since 10 years BMO HAS MY OWN MONEY 50000 THOUSANDS AGAIN I LIKE TO SAY and mention in writing FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS they have my money but I can not get my money because they say we have to follow up the policy the one I never knew the one no one explain me I am GETTING 293.DOLLARS EVERY MONTH BMO BANK SUPERVISOR I AM NOT RICH why you are keeping my money without my will if I am wrong write me or respond for this review, ****** ***** *******

      I waited in line to pay a bill that had to be done using a teller. Incredible how they can only have 2 tellers working. It's ridiculous how long they make their customers wait!

      Let my mortgage go past renewal dates. They took it upon themselves to change my interest rate from 5% to 9%. Payment went from $862 to $1308. Looking for someone else to put my mortgage under. Will be dropping BMO. ** *** ***

      Just wanna say that kris h. a financial advisor at BMO in Kitchener on Weber st is one of the best if not the best banking interaction that I’ve had in the 30 years of going to banks. She is professional and related to the average person on levels that I’ve never seen. Once again thank you kris for everything ????

      Worst service I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. My mother wrote me a cheque and when I deposited it I was told there would be on hold for 10 business days!! I was traveling out of the country in 2weeks so didn’t think much of it but of course with the Easter holidays ** **** ****** *** ****** ****** that added an extra 2 days to the mix. Couldn’t have it so I went back to my branch in White Rock. BC and the hold was shortened to midnight on the day I needed the funds. Couldn’t have that either. So they said they needed to verify the funds - this after 7 business days have passed. I verified with my mother that the funds had already cleared her account. Didn’t matter. BMO asst mgr had to speak with branch mgr. Branch mgr Lana Nam said it was because the cheque was not pre-printed, but hand written!!!

I was in the branch from 10:40 am until 4:00 pm! I was pacing around the branch waiting to have access to my money that the bank was holding ******** **** ** **** **** * ******* **** The WORST banking experience I have ever had! To make matters worse, some ***** from ******* where my mother banks, named Kingtal, said she couldn’t verify the cheque that my mother wrote! So someone on the other end of a 1-800 # who doesn’t know my mother, her handwriting or anything, says she can’t verify my mother’s cheque that ALREADY CLEARED HER ACCOUNT! Then, Lana Tam (BMO branch mgr) tells me she has to extend the hold on my deposit by an ADDITIONAL 5 BUSINESS DAYS!! * ***** ***** * ****** ********* ******* **** **** *** *** ******* *** *** **** ******* * ***** *** ***** *** ***** ********** ** **** ********* *** * **** ***** **** ******* ** ******

      I have been a customer for 25 years *** * ******** ********* ****** **** *** **** ****. They are more expensive than the other Canadian banks, customer service is laughable because they don't empower their reps in call centres with any real authority or decision making, so you're stuck on hold for ridiculous amounts of time, don't expect a call back for close to 3-4 days and expect them to nickel and dime the crap out of your account.

      The worth banking system on credit card ** *** ***** *** **** **** 
      They owe me money on my credit card
      Over $1000 , after many calls no response after more than 10 days
      Call them again, they answer me it will take a another 5 to 10 days
      They owe me interest (23% a month)
      I will cancel my card as soon as possible
