      Got $2800.00 stolen (Interac E-transfer NOT done by me) from my account on June 6, 2023. Reported this to BMO within hours. Yet, BMO claims I provided my personal info to scammers and they cannot get my money back. Still fighting them now. **** *** **** *** ******** *** ** *** **** **** *** **** *** ******* ***** ********* *********** 
      May be the end of BMO for me, after 40+ years...

      Our mortgage dealings have been a nightmare. They are slow to do anything. They never tell you what you need up front, it’s a constant, now we need this and that. We waited for over 2 months after closing for the discharge docs to be done on the line of credit attached to our previous home. After multiple follow ups with branch, the response was it’s not the branch it is the mortgage department. Never take ownership or apologize for the delays and lack of customer service. When trying to get it rectified and including the branch manager, we were told we were in good hands with our branch contact. She was terrible and unreliable. She told us incorrect information and when I called her out on it she tried to say she had told us, but I referenced date of when she said it was no longer happened and she again didn’t take ownership. Wish I had taped the conversation so I could prove what she said. Will never deal with them again once this mortgage is due to renew* ** * ***** **** **** ***** * ***** ** **** ** *** **** ******** **** **** **** *** *** **** ******** *********

      transferred my cashback directly to my card account . Thought this would more than cover upcoming payment. No, they claim transfer is a "credit" not a payment. If I had put it in my chequing account first it would be a "payment" . So now i'm dinged with a late payment and all the punishment that includes. I'm escalating a complaint but they are playing with semantics- payment not same as depositing to account. *** ********* ********* ** ***** **** ****** *** **** ** ******** ***** *****

      I contacted customer service to…
      I contacted customer service to increase my credit limit. The customer representative was so rude and impatient. She raised her voice when I wasn’t sure how much my gross income is, she rudely cut me off while I was verifying my income to the point that I decided not to continue with her and end the call.

      *** ***** **** **********. My mortgage came to term and it took them 4 months to review and send a renewal. Mailed the renewal back and intended to pay off 50% of the balance. Renewal date came and went with no change to the balance and no payment withdrawn. Finally got so frustrated **** *** ************ we paid off the mortgage completely so we wouldn’t have to deal with them. A week later, with no mortgage, BMO reported to ******* that I missed a payment and my credit score took a 100 pt hit.

      ********* ******** *** ***** **** **** **** ****** ***** My debit card was stolen when I was 16-17 years old, it was a debit card and it had around 4$ in the account, out of nowhere my card is clearing checks under someone else’s name and when I go to the bank explaining my card was stolen, they said I owed the total. (2000$) so I asked for the transaction list to see where the payments were happening, it was about 6 hours away from where I lived. When the bank did a report they found multiple camera footages of this older guy who was clearing checks and using my card. The bank said if I didn’t pay my credit would take a massive hit and I would owe even more so eventually as a stupid 16 year old I paid the amount, with interest I forgot how much the total was but it was ridiculous, they were no help at all and with all the proof we had they couldn’t do anything.

      wow! I cant believe that banking fees are going up while service is so bad. Today there was a line up of twenty people while three guys sat in their office staring at the screen...said they were working. I mentioned that we were here and are their work. Convinvced the manager to get behind a till. They always tell us to use the instabank but then why are the fees going up?? *** ******* ****** *** *** ***** **** *** * ** ****** ** ***** *** ** ****** ******* ********

      ** *** **** * ******** ******* **** ***** Their customer service is useless ****** ** ** **, but as a business owner who takes care of their banking in the evenings, you need their customer service to be available! Their 1-800 tells you to call back during normal business hours. When I got connected with the personal accounts, he told me there was nothing he could do and hung up on me after telling me I can’t use my account until I call back at 8am tomorrow. So now at 7pm I am unable to do anything with my account. But I guess this is my fault, after all, this is all because I entered my pin wrong the first time after forgetting it because I try to avoid using this account as it is.
