      Bank changed my interest rate after original credit card agreement, Claimed it was because of missed payments which did not happen and which was not part of original agreement. ***** **********

      I called to clear up a payment issue. There is only one customer service phone number listed.. you call it and say they need to transfer you to the right department. The first time i waited on hold over 22 minutes just to be hung up on. called back was told i needed to be transferred again, waited on hold over a half an hour to be told they transferred me to the wrong department.. waited on hold for another 36 minutes before i finally gave up. The customer service is a joke.

      Worst bank I've ever dealt with. People at the branch are clueless as to handle customer care. Calling is always a challenge and a long wait. Understaffed and lack of follow thru. Can't wait to switch over to a bank that undertands what it is to actually take care of your clients.

      **** * ***** **** * ********* ** *** *** ******** ***** ******* ********* ******* *** * **** ******** ******* BMO is very hard to deal with when requesting payout statements or other documents that are technically the clients property. BMO tries to strong arm you into using their portal program, which if you don't then you are basically SOL. BMO likes to send you emails through their message centre and when you reply to their email with a question via their messaging centre you will never receive a response to your email . This has been my continuing experience with BMO.

      Bmo allowed a non-account holder to take $70,000 over 3 transfers without any signature, which does not follow their procedures. They will not replace any of the money, instead blaming the victims. Complained, denied, appealed, escalated to OBSI, denied, lost appeal.
      Will no longer trust this bank!

      Called 3 different branches no answer at any of them, rang a dozen times! If you want to reach by telephone don't bother no humans available. ******* ** ****** *** **** ***** ****** *** **** ******* ***** ***** *** * ******

      *** * **** * ****** What on earth is happening.... **** ***** **** * **** ***** ***** ******** ********** It is so unbelievably frustrating. They cancelled our business cards because they were updating the card numbers; then reactivated only one which left most of our bills bouncing on the other card. Then sent us one card, some time later sent us the other card, but we still could not use them for certain purchases. SO MANY CALLS AND SO MANY HOURS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER... and still not working. I tried buying a business computer this morning and nope... declined. So the BMO automated msg asked me to call them back immediately because of security concerns.. 1.5hrs on hold, then someone picked up and dropped the call!!!!! Oh and while I am waiting for someone to pick up the phone in the fraud department, I get two more automated calls from them urging me to call them. Do they understand at all the concept of customer service!! Insane. I am going to take a few hours and instead of waiting for them to respond find a bank that cares. And btw if you are going to make me have to be on my phone for 2hrs at least do not interrupt me every 30sec tell me that my call is important to you and my patience is appreciated... OMG! Seriously if you wanted intentionally to annoy your customers, you could not choose a better way!

      3 different calls, with wait times over 30 mins for each and 2 different branch visits I have been told different ways to overcome my problem and each person denying whatever the other people had said. What a lack of professionalism and standards, make me spend time and drive around to be worse off then initially. Used mobile cheque with bmo and they are not clearing in for 7 business days, usually 5 not sure why I'm stuck with 5. **** is able to clear most of it immediately and I regret deciding to use bmo this once. Canadian regulation makes it mandatory to release the first 100 from the deposit and they rejected to do so until I mentioned this regulation. Now I'm stuck wondering how to put things together until 7 business days from now to pay expenses. Will be limiting all the accounts I have with them and permanently moving as much business over to ****.

      ***** **** ******** **** **** ***** *hey take 2 times the amount of the loan every month. I called them a thousand time and they continue to take twice the amount.

      I got an inheritance from my grandfather. I thought it would be a good idea to put my inheritance into my bank account at BMO but ******* *** ****** *** ****** ******* ***** ****** they put a permanent hold on my check from Aunt ******** who is the executor of my grandfather's will. Now I have to fight for my money. Big mistake.
