      BMO should spend less on advertising and more on hiring people to answer their phones. After 38 years of being a customer I am so done with their apathetic service I'm moving to another bank where guess what someone will answer the phone. Without the wonderful people who work in the Branch we would have left years ago.

      I loved bmo bank but now I have no idea why my banks where closed and my money was supposed to be in my savings account and terrace bmo closed my account it was the 1st time it's it was 4 days before Christmas 2022 that's bad I'm not happy with what was done

      Terrible bank. Mother passed away and BMO has been the most difficult financial institution of hers to deal with...either paying off her balances or closing her account.
      It seems from other reviews, many people feel the same about BMO. How are they still in business?

      Best ever service at BMO in Nelson, BC!
      I did not wish to renew a GIC at the Orchard Branch in Kelowna. For three days I tried unsuccessfully to make arrangements through a banker there, so I went to the Nelson Branch, explained the situation to the teller who stopped at nothing until I was satisfied. Within thirty minutes she arranged an appointment with a more senior banker the following day. Again, in our meeting I was 100% impressed with the friendly, efficient, and thorough service. Thank you, BMO Nelson staff!

      ******** ********** ******** ********** I AM SO SICK OF TRYING DAYS ON END AND SO MANY HOURS ON HOLD TO GET ANY SERVICE. THE ONLY REASON WHY I AM CALLING THEM IS BECAUSE I PAID A LOAN OFF 3 WEEKS AGO AND THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION OF THEM RECEIVING THE PMT, NO NOTIFICATION,..NOTHING SENT IN MAIL. BUT WHEN THIS.... WILL ABSOLUTELY......... SCREW UP TERRIBLY AND OF COURSE IT IS ME WHO HAS TO JUMP THROUGH MANY DAYS OF MORE WAITING AND WAITING FOR ME TO FIX.....THEIR MISTAKES AND BEYOND SERIOUS LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE CAUSE ME MORE WASTED MORE TIME TO CALL AND CALL AND WAIT AND WAIT FOR ANYONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE.       My identity was stolen and they said they locked my account but the person with my ID still had access. I was told I’d see my money back in 3 weeks and it’s been 7 weeks now and I still haven’t seen my money. They issued the person with my ID a new bank card in person TWICE after I called and cancelled. They clearly don’t check signatures, because the woman with my ID didn’t sign my name like I do. ******** **** ***** ***** ** * *** ** ******** *** * ** *** ********* **** ********* ************

      BMO ********** has the worst customer service, long waits on business line. BMO puts my card on hold because of suspicious activity which was me trying to pay invoices and send me automated phone calls asking me to call their farad department. Over 1 hour of wait trying to get someone on the phone to get my card reinstated so I can use it while my regular preauthorized business payments are getting rejected. ***** *** * ******** ****** **** **** ****

      Your bank has the most incapable customer service I have yet to experience, you have absolutely no bank support for business after back hours, and yet I waited for the next day just to have my time wasted with being told they can't figure out why I can't receive e-transfer in to my account, 2:18 I have spent at a branch and no results, so I closed my accounts today!
      Your customer service team should just answer the phone saying (how can I waist your time today?) At least it would be truthful,customer service is zero and that's not an number!

      *** ** ********* They are holding me accountable for a 1600 dollar scam charge from Isreal from 2018 on a pre-paid **********. You think a pre-paid card would be declined if funds aren't there. Never a statement or notification in 5 years and then they just took money out of my account in Nov 2022. **** *** ********* ***** *** ** *** **** ***** ****. I WILL BE CANCELLING MY ACCOUNT WITH BMO FOREVER. ******* ** * ****** *** *** *** *********** *** ******** * *****. Will be filing a police report.
