      No more staff in the Duncan Branch, it's only open occasionally, also can't get anyone on the phone, jut leave a message - no-one calls back. BMO seems to be dead.

      * **** ** **** **** **** *** * **** ** **** *** ***** it has been almost two hours now, still waiting to speak with an agent in regards to a double charged on my BMO credit card* * ***** ******* ** ****** ** *** ***** ****** ***** *** *** ***, you have to wait so long to get through their phone line if you need help. It is frustrating!

      BMO allowed 11,000$ of fraudulent charges (significantly more than my credit limit) to go through on my card in a one hour period at 2am on September 25. I reported them as fraudulent the next day while they were still pending and BMO neither noted the fraud nor did they stop the transactions. BMO has a 4+ hour wait on hold for processing customer service credit card fraud. After spending hours trying to solve this I went to my local branch where the BMO banking representative informed me that BMO doesn't actually do anything with respect to the credit cards it advertises which are signed up for at the branch. BMO is currently holding me responsible for these charges. This is a violation of Canadian banking security.

      Called BMO regarding ***** ***** ** on hold for 60 mins now to answer simple question. Why did due date change from 21 days to 38 days. Said don't know then said it's the system. According to Cardholder Agreement " Grace period: No interest will be charged on purchases made during the month, provided the client pays the balance in full within twenty-one (21) days of the statement date. This grace period does not apply to cash advances or balance transfers. agreement: " Which means if balance not paid off in 21 days interest is charged from day 1. Now they will charge additional 7 days of interest. 28 days instead of 21. ******* ** ****** ******* ********* ********** ** *******. Still on hold. Will contact Ombudsman office. Horrible customer service.

      I have been a bmo customer since 2002. I had something happen that temporarily stopped my pay. The day before my pay resumed they closed my account. Now I have to track down a cheque that was sent to the wrong address a month before Xmas because I hadn't put money in the account over a short period. I received no notification in regards to it. They have my phone number on file with them. My email and I didn't get contacted once. Had they have I would've explained that there is money being deposited the next day

      Absolutely horrendous customer service. Put on hold and offered a "call back" to avoid the long wait.
      I received the call llback and have been on hold 25 minutes and counting!!!!

      I am sick and tired of their customer service and am seeking a new bank 2-3 hours on hold every time and I am done with them. This bank has become a running joke with everybody I know that banks with them. And why when they answer WHY am I talking to people who can't speak English in the Philippines ??? **** **** ** ** ******** *****

      I have car loan with BMO. They took double car payment and when I called they said they cannot do anything until Monday. So now I'm left with limited to no funds because of teir mistake. Worst bank ever

      The best thing I did was leave BMO after enduring more than 20 years of poor customer service and switch to ******* ********* ****** ***** where I am treated with respect and earn much higher interest rate on my savings account. Only regret is that I didn't switch years ago.
