    We had there food boxes for about a year now . The first few months were good and now every week we get our box and there is something in the box that doesn’t keep the word “fresh” ** ****** ** ****** ***** ******. **** ** ******** * **** *** **** ** ********* * *** ***** *** ** **** *** **** ********* **** ***** ****** ***** *** *** **** ** *** **** ********* they gave us a 12$ credit and said sorry … * ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** * ***** **** ***** * ***** *** **** *** ** *******

    ** **** ******* **** ***** ***** ******* **** *** ******* *** * **** **** They send you discount codes and offers and then when you login in to receive them the price goes up drastically.
    You don’t even have to accept it, they will start sending food out to you (whatever they want) and charge you that new inflated price. Then they deny that the system is flawed and refuse to pay you back stating that you subscribed to it. **** * **** *****

    Terrible customer service - misleading promotion
    ****** ** ***** ** **** **** they basic said sorry but not sorry……
    My issues started right from the start at sign up. I signed up with the breakfast for life promotion. Upon selecting my boxes I discovered that there was no free breakfast for life option. I called right away and they sent me a link to sign up with that should work. It did not!
    It took me 3 weeks to get it fixed!!! Within the 3 weeks I had followed up multiple times asking to speak to a manger to get this fixed. Never have I received a call!! Poor customer service!!
    When I would call on to follow up the only “fix” that was offered was to select a breakfast item and once billed they would reimburse me. BUT this required me to call in again! Never was I able to speak to a manager or someone who could help me. Finally on one of my many calls a representative said in order to fix it they will have to cancel my subscription and I would have to resign up.
    Finally it work! Right?!? Yay…. Ummmm no! I fought for 3 weeks for the free breakfast for life to find out that the free breakfast for life is 4 pieces of bacon or 2 muffins ??. This is completely false advertising!!!! I have a subscription for 3 meals a week but breakfast for life is one breakfast, it should be for the 3 days that I purchase a meal for??? ******** ** a photo of the breakfast for life promo that shows a breakfast wrap with egg, meat and cheese. There is no option that is similar to what is being advertised. I can’t believe * ****** for 2 muffins for 3 weeks. I have received the worst customer service without anyone offering me any compensation!!!Also so far I’ve had issues with my boxes , one didn’t have the lime that was needed another box had a lime but was completely dried out! And my recent box was missing the soup instructions. What I want to know is what is hello fresh going to do about all these issues I’ve encountered? They replied saying they are doing nothing.

    * ***** **** **** ***** ** **** *** ** ******* If someone buys you a gift card or if you buy yourself a gift card or if you win a gift card, they treat that as a promotion not as a payment method so you can't then pay with your gift card and also take advantage of any actual promotions discounts or even credits to your account **** **** **** ***** ********* **. ** ** **** * ************ *** ******** **** **** I couldn't believe that that was actually true I had to double check that that was actually what they were doing. ** ** *** ******* **** ** *** ** ******** **** ***** **********

    My account was inactive. In November 2023, it was reactivated: to be honest, I do not know how that was done. So, over 4 meal boxes were sent to our old address (a house we sold and moved out of in May 2023 that is 4 hours away from where we live now). Also the inactive account had an expired credit card on file. I became aware of the charges when I received an email after Christmas 2023 saying a Hello Fresh box was sent to my address. I was stunned. I looked into it and realized my account was reactivated, and Hello Fresh boxes had been sent to our old address, and that my credit card had been charged. Again, the credit card on file is an expired **** card ( have a new card from the bank and charges went through on the card). I acknowledge that I should have noted the charged on our statement. When I contacted Hello Fresh, I was told that there is nothing they can do but refund one box: the rest, are on me. I advised I never actively requested the account to be reactivated and how can you charge an expired credit card on file? You don't have authorization for my new one? I never got a response on this....just the line of "understand but we can only process the one box refund". * ** **** ************** Horrible ******** customer service experience.

    I have been charged for a week of meals by HelloFresh and have not received my order the payment was paid for and the amount came out of my bank account and HelloFresh Canada canceled my order and services without any advance notice and they did not ship my order or refund the $216.00 they received from my bank account they completely tried to say they didn't receive my payment even though I had proof of the payment was successfully received and paid for on my end. And when I called to try and address my issue directly with customer service I was speaking with a call center employee of HelloFresh who was extremely **** and ******** she continued to degrade me through out the conversation and she acted like I was inconvenience her and I had tried to ask to be transferred to a supervisor to be told No I then asked if I could talk to another Agent and she refused that request as well she then said she was going too continue to mute me I was taken back I told her I wasn't being **** I wasn't yelling at her or calling her names I just wanted to resolve my complaint and all the toolk place after I had already been on hold for an hour. I will no longer be doing business with HelloFresh or recommending their company to anyone.

    We took advantage of a promo code we got through the mail, and found the recipes were accessible, tasty, and easy to make. When it came time to order this week, I thought I could order Monday, and have it delivered Thursday.
    I was surprised to find, that not only was I unable to do that, but that Hello Fresh had gone ahead, and sent me a box anyway, with two recipes I didn't want, and only offered a partial refund, upon calling them.
    It's a dishonest practice to not only charge someone's credit card without their knowledge, but force them into recipes just for the sake of fulfilling a subscription. People should have the option to use these promo cards until they run out, whether it's on a weekly basis or not. It's also a wasteful practice, because what happens when you send baskets to people who had to go away at the last minute, and forget to cancel/ pause the subscription?

    I got a promo code and of course to look at the meals you must sign up with your details (CC info, address, etc.). The meals looked awful so I canceled my subscription within 10 minutes. They still charged my credit card and sent a box of bad food I don't want because they need "5 days" to cancel your subscription. **** ** * ****** *** ********* I wouldn't recommend at all.     ***** ******* **** ***** **** *** they took money I never authorized! * **** * **** and they “ auto” sent me food I never asked for. Apparently in the very small fine print in terms and conditions , I agreed to let them take money out weekly . All I wanted to do wanted to do was look at their options.

    Extremely hard to cancel. They will make it appear as though you are getting a deal when in reality the deal is gone within one week. I have been charged multiple times for boxes after I have canceled.
