    *** * **** **** **** * **** ** **** ** **** ******** I already cancelled my subscription but after 3 weeks receiving my first box, I am going to receive another box!! I didn’t order it and they charged my card without any authorization. I didn’t even selected the meals!! The manager is only giving 50% of the refund but that is not acceptable because I cancelled my subscription already! ***** ******* ***** **** ******* ** * **** ********

    I had a gift card my friend gave ** * ***** ** **** ******* ** **** ** ****** ******, ***** **** ***** ** *** *** **** ************ I used the gift card and tried to cancel the subscription but it kept saying I have a credit that I will lose if I cancelled. So I kept ordering to lower the credit.     It has been 3 days waiting for my delivery from Hello Fresh. Was to be delivered on Tues Sept 19 2023, it is now Thursday 21. I have been in contact every day with " customer service ) which are useless. They are perfectly ok for me to receive 3 day old food and expect me to be ok with that. I have asked for my money back and get the same answers, we will put in a card for investigation to why it is late. 3 days they have said this.
    I have never received an email saying the food is even being delivered. So no I am to wait even longer for spoiled food and be expected to pay for it. I want my money back and you keep your 3 day old food. ** * *** * *** *** **** *** *** **** ***** ** * ******* ******* ** ******. You cannot give people spoiled food, ** ** ***** ** ***** ******
    Refund me my money.

    I have contacted them, showed them bank statements, email cancelation confirmation, yet the still keep deducting money from my account, and sending food- some food I can’t eat!
    My last confirmation they said they would have a manager call me 24/48 hours. It never happened. FINALLY over a week later on ** ********r- I have to go through a very frustrating process- then the have enough gull to say “ Our records show that you only canceled today.” AFTER I SPOKE TO THEM a week and a have prior and nearly two weeks after I actually canceled
    I said I have records and confirmation that shows otherwise.
    I said come get your food and reimburse me. They said no.
    Then they said they will get back to me.
    Guess what- today- a box shows up and yes, my account was debited $88

    I have been a long time customer and I had delivery planned for the day I returned from a long trip with kids. No groceries and when my HelloFresh didn’t show up, they simply said sorry and didn’t care to compensate for the inconvenience. This is bad business practice and I would recommend going with any of the other food services as they are much more customer service oriented. HelloFresh does not care about customer retention and to me, that’s a business who doesn’t deserve business.

    This business is untrustworthy. Twice they charged my credit card without my consent. And their customer support agents *** about having my consent. I requested the recording of my call in which I gave the consent (it was a call I received asking to review their service in which I specifically told them I will not activate my account or add my cc# to the account because they charge it without my knowledge), I didn't receive anything as such.
    **** ******* ********* ** ******* **** *** ******* ************ I had to change my credit card details after this incident.

    In our experience, HelloFresh makes it extremely difficult, painful and time consuming to get refunds on meals that are sent by (their) mistake. Decent meals and enjoyed it for some time. We paused the account for the spring and summer because we were eating out a lot. One week, we received a meal we weren't expecting. We contacted support and they issued a 50% credit to our account for the unexpected and unwanted meal. We asked them to pause our account for another 5 or 6 weeks, until fall, when we would be cooking at home some more. The agent confirmed they paused it on the live chat. This interaction was several days before the deadline for the next week's meal. The following week, we received another box of meals. This was after the agent we spoke with in live chat indicated they had already paused our account. We contacted live chat again, and asked for a refund for this mistake. The meals they sent weren't ones we wanted or ordered, and we had specifically asked our account to be paused. The new agent refused to give us a refund no matter how many times we explained the timeline and the issue. We asked them to cancel our account, which is a shame because this is a company we liked getting meals from. However, their refund practices don't sit well with us, and in our experience, they make it very difficult to get a refund.

    I had a promotion code to get a free box and of course you still need to input your credit card information. The code I had did not work so I cancelled the entire thing. I was still charged. I called them and they said that they would issue me a credit. I said no, I would not like a credit on my cancelled account but rather a refund. The agent gave me a timeframe of 3- 5 business' days and gave me other information. Before hanging up, I said, just to confirm- I will receive a refund within 5 business' days? his answer " I am not sure you were listening properly, I said 3-5 business' days" I was shocked by his response. Terrible customer service. I really hope that my refund will come, I have no confidence in them at this point.

    I downloaded the app, then to look at the plans or a menu you have to enter payment information, before I could even look at the menu and select anything from the glitchy app. I received an email saying my credit card had been charged and I had been signed up for a subscription. At no time did I confirm any payment. **** *****
