Hello there,
On April 19th I went to pick my daughter from her first solo trip at ******* Airport and after 2hrs drive (from Peterborough), I arrived a little early. I stopped for safety purposes to finish a phone call and look at my daughter's messages regarding her arrival and place of meeting for pick-up. I did in a safe way where other vehicles were parked and for a few minutes as I couldn't wait in the arrival/pick-up area. I have rarely done this and won't again!
Something else, Indigo Park has sent a letter dated of May 19th with a May 18th due date. This nullifies the billing as there is an obvious mistake doesn't it? I received the letter on May 23d... when I try to talk with someone at Indigo Park, it leads to a voicemail mentioning a credit bureau? No mention of Indigo Park on the voicemail. I have tried several times ton soeak with someone without success.
For these reasons I make a formal complaint here and expect the bill to be voided. Please contact me to resolve, my notice # is *******

I am rejecting this response because: I was not obstructing traffic and I needed to stop for safety purposes. I had no other option in the airport area, I would hope this becomes a strong warning as I have not been there in years and it was for a few minutes in a safely manner.

Tuesday April 11th 2023. I went to the airport to pickup my sister as she was new to Canada. I drove to the airport and there was no parking at the terminal, parking enforcement people told to move my car..There was no space for at least 20 cars in the pick up area.. I tried to come again after sometime and a group of cars standing by the side of the road leading to the Terminal and decided to wait there along with some other cars, also not knowing that this was a violation. I even didn’t see any sign of no standing there. I got notice just 2 days before the due date. So I ended up with fine too..as mentioned in their site , they usually have 15 days time.. Please considering this as my first offence I would like to waive off this ticket as already I’m going through rough time financially..Thank you for your understandingBusiness Response

I am writing to appeal two parking tickets that were issued to me on the same day (May 11, 2023) at *** **** Kitchener ** parking lot. The first ticket was for an unpaid stall, and I acknowledge that I made a mistake in not paying for the spot. However, I was also given a second ticket for parking in a no-parking zone and for parking in a pick-up and drop-off area. I believe this is unjustified, as both tickets were issued for the same offense at the same location on the same day.
I would like to clarify that I am willing to pay the fine for the unpaid stall ticket. However, I find it unreasonable to pay two separate fines for the same offense. It would be fairer if the second offense was included in the first ticket, as it was all related to the same incident.
I understand that parking regulations are in place for the benefit of all users, and I assure you that I will be more careful in the future to avoid such violations. However, I kindly request that you reconsider the second parking ticket and merge it with the first one, so that I am not unjustly penalized twice for the same offense.

I was on my way to the airport to pick up my cousin on April 14, 2023. It's a long drive from where I live and on my way getting into the airport, my car gave a warning that one of my tires was low. I pulled over to the side of the road safely, where several other cars were parked to address the situation. I had to call around to see if someone can help me with my flat. Finally, I was able to get some air in my tire and left the area safely.
I ask that you review this ticket and void it as no one came over to me to see what was going on or to help. Only a surprise ticket several weeks after for $85.00. Notice number *******. I am a senior (76 years old). I went to the airport to pick up my relative on April 12, 2023. I cannot walk much. I can drive but driving around the airport is never easy. I drove around but did not see my relative. I went around and pulled over for a couple minutes where other vehicles were stopped. It looked safe and I did not see a no parking sign where I was. No one talked to me and no one gave me a ticket nothing was put on my vehicle. I then received a ticket in the mail on the date it is due. We logged into the website on the notice. It says the vehicle is a ****** I do not have a ****** There is no picture online. On the paper copy of the ticket it states a photo of the vehicle is online at the website I logged into. The online ticket states the ticket was give to the driver or placed on the vehicle but that’s not correct. When I called the agent they said they cannot waive the fee. They’ll consider reducing it. Notice#******* from INDIGO PARK. I am a low income retiree. The fine is very high and difficult for me to pay. Are there no exceptions or warning signs. Everything is so expensive. I went to pick up my parents on 14th April 2023 at ******* Airport. This was my first time going to the airport as I have never picked up from or dropped anyone at the airport ever since I came to Canada. I received a penalty notice of 85$ for stopping in the stopping zone. My parents were traveling first time internationally, so they had lots of problems on their journey. so I decided to go early to the airport to help them if they have any problems during the arrival process. I could not make any contact with my parents and I found out that the flight was delayed. By this time, I had already been to the terminal twice but I was asked to come again. While coming back to the terminal 3rd time, I saw more than 20 cars stopped in one area. I thought it is safe and legal to stop in this area and that is why so many cars are parked there. I could not see any signs there or I missed seeing the sign and stopped there thinking it is the right thing to do. I checked the pictures as well and can not see any signs there. I can not recall this incident because there is a possibility that I did not pay attention to the signs because several cars were parked there. I am extremely disappointed with this ticket. I believe it's a genuine mistake and I should have given a warning or notice of the offense rather than this hefty fine. I just paid for this ticket because I did not have any options to dispute. I feel it is unfair to charge heavily for genuine mistakes.

The violation is valid and the roadways leading into the terminal are agressively signed with "No Parking" and "No Stopping". There is also digital signage indicating that "Stopping along the roadside could lead to a $85 fine". This is in place for public safety and the "Cell Phone Lot" is to be utilized to wait for returning guests.Thank you.

I have received a notice of a fine from INDIGO Park for 85.00 dollars . This was from April 11/23 . I went to the airport to pick up my grandchild for the first time since her birth . I’m 69 years of age and driving through traffic in Toronto from Georgetown plus the fact that the plane was delayed as well as delays through customs was trying for me . I pulled over to what I considered a safe spot , I did not observe any no stopping signs but this seemed a lot safer than trying to continuously drive around in traffic . I’m a retiree and find the amount of the ticket unreasonable to pay at my fixed pension . Also it only gave me a day to pay from the time I received the notice in mail. I received it on May 9 and it was due on May 10 . Then the rate accelerates to 107.60 . Totally unrealistic for someone on fixed income . Thank YouBusiness Response

Dear Sir/Madam
On Monday April 3rd 2023 I went to ******* Airport to pick up my wife. I was driving and waiting her call to see that she is ready to be picked up. I received a call from my wife that she is waiting outside the arrival for me to pick her up. I did not want to receive and talk while driving. So I safely stopped my car on the hard shoulder to receive my wife call. My wife told me that she has collected her luggage and waiting for me. After receiving call I drove away to the Airport arrival terminal. I did not see or meet any Indigo parking personal for stopping my car. As I did not parked my car there.
After a month now I have received a Indigo parking notice by mail.
I request the parking charges should be waived.
