On 16 February 2023 I was given a parking violation ticket in the area of ******* airport. I have no idea why I got this ticket, I’ve been going to that airport for years to pick up friends and family or sometimes as **** driver and I did not do anything out of the ordinary this time.
I was ticketed for $85 ******* ******* ************* airport. Notice number: *******. I went to pick up location at the terminal and security told me that I cannot wait here so I went back on the highway we’re on the loop and came back again. Security suggested me to do to turn go back and stop on the side of the road where other cars are waiting which I think is the reason I got this ticket. If I got this ticket for stopping on the side of the road and listening to what security told me I think it’s an unfair ticket. And I believe $85 is a heavy penalty to pay. I want this ticket disputed please.Business Response

On Feb 11, 2023, I was driving to the airport terminal 1 arrival around 10pm to pick up my brother, was my first time driving to the airport He called me on my approaching so I stopped the car at the sideway just before the arrival to take the phone call that he said, there is a big line for immigration. I never trespassed any property during my 4 years driving here in Canada. Damanages due for prohibited parking, etc. mailed this month. Notice #***** License plate *******. Notice *******. On feb 5, I went to pick up my partner from the airport. I only left after the airplane landed to avoid waiting too long and adding to the congestion at the arrival section. Unfortunately my partner sent a message that there was a slight delay at customs and I stopped at the area where there was multiple cars briefly to send her a message back. I looked around to check and did not see any no parking signs. I’m still not sure if the area was marked no parking because there were many cars there at the time. I had stopped to answer a text message from my partner. I checked to make sure the area was safe and clear. I will not stop anywhere ever again at the airport again and will use the short term lot. Hello, I received a notice from Indigo Park at ******* ******* Airport for a violation- vehicle recorded stopped for 6th Feb'2023. The notice number is #*******.
On this day I was returning from India and my wife along with my 1-year daughter had come to pick me up. They had initially waited in the cell phone parking lot. Once, I came out of the airport to the arrival curbside I asked her to pick me up. However, she went around two times having missed a turn for arrival. It is at that time I called her and shared my live location making it easier for her to find me as the daughter was getting cranky in the car. She stopped at one of the arrival terminals to set her map to the live location. Moreover, the pictures are blurred (I have attached them) showing my number plate, and don't show any sign or notice of illegal parking. On Jan 30 I was picking up a sick friend from the airport at 8.00 pm (foggy out)at night and as I was approaching the terminal I quickly slowed down due to the traffic and brake lights at the same time I received my text so I quickly pulled to the side safely to call my sick friend for the information out to his whereabouts and was no more than 5 min then quickly proceeded for pick up. Did not see anything or signs telling me that I wasn’t allowed too quickly pull over for my safety and others. I would like to see the photograph please. This is not fair what’s so ever. We were contacted by phone by Indigo parking stating a claim number and return phone number. We tried to call back numerous times curious what it was about. They mentioned ******* ******* Airport in one return message. We figured a scam since we had not parked there at all. Finally after back and forth calls (very unprofessional to say the least! What company doesn't answer phone calls?!?!) we were able to speak with someone FINALLY and when they confirmed an apparent infraction was at ******* airport and asked for personal info we didn't want to proceed. We didn't want to give any personal info and knew we had not parked there, and had never received a ticket. They asked if we received anything in the mail, and we hadn't. Since everything up to this point seemed very sketchy and unprofessional we were going to hang up when they sent us to some portal to view the so called ticket. The only thing that did seem to connect on this "ticket" was the fact that we were at the airport that night picking up a friend who flew in. We did not park. We were only there for a few minutes, long enough to get him in the truck. I have no idea how this company got our license plate number but no infraction was made, we didn't see or talk to an officer, and no ticket was passed to us. Please help us settle this!
You can't just start calling people with a so called claim number, and when they return your call let it go weeks before trying to get back to them. Nothing was handed to us, nothing was mailed to us. There was no infraction. Therefore this so called ticket needs to be taken care of and this company needs to be reportedBusiness Response

Today(Feb 21, 2023) I received a trespass notice from INDIGO PARK. It was dated Jan 19, 2023. The due date was Jan 27, 2023 for $85. The price is $107.60 if paid after due date. The due date has passed even before I recieved the notice.
On Dec 29, 2022, I went to the airport to pick up my my daughter. She couldn't find her checked bags. I just pulled over the car on the road side, and tried to call her and gave her some advice on what to do. It was dark, and I didn't see any warning sign. I didn't intentionally trespass/park there. Can you please review my case? I hope that the charge/fine could be removed. Thanks for your help.Business Response

On February 21st I received a ticket in the mail from Indigo Park. It was dated February 7, 2023 for $85, if not paid by February 22, 2023 the price will increase to $107.60. As this ticket was a shock right away i called the number on the ticket and waited on hold for about 20 minutes at which point I was asked to leave a message, which I did.
On the evening of January 24th, my father-in-law was coming back from the US. His flight landed at 7:50pm. He had no luggage to collect so he was outside waiting to be picked up right away. We drove up and stopped to get him. Right next to us was a ****** Airport officer who let us stop. Picture was taken at 8:26pm showing our break lights on as he was already waiting for us. Out of shock we received this ticket with a picture that truly does not show much. This sort of picture can be taken by anyone, it just shows the back of a car with parking breaks on. We are overly surprised by a notice of violation. Please assist in resolving this as we are not sure what we did wrong, especially when an officer was directing us to stop to pick up my father-in-law. My Notice Number is *******Business Response

On Feb. 15, 2023, I received a trespass notification # ******* from INDIGO PARK dated 02/07/2023 for prohibited parking in the location of ******* ******* ************* Airport dated 01/26/2023 at 04:15 PM, asking me to pay $85 due before 02/24/2023 or $107.60 after the due date. I was driving to the airport terminal to drop my elderly sister so she could fly back home. She needed me to help her unload her bags because she doesn't fly often and was visiting because our oldest sister had passed away. In my haste to help my sister I pulled over to help her unload her bags and show her where to go. I am vey sorry for violating the regulation it was unintentional.
