I went bank with Regions and used an *** to withdraw $500, at the end of transaction to *** message had error unable to process. I went into branch and ***resentative told me the debit did process through my account, but didnt receive the money. A dispute had to be followed. I am going on day 3, called the number that was provided and I was told it can take up the 10 days, but according the to reg E the financial institution must respond within 2 days. The customer agent that answered were very condescending, dismissive and had to ask to speak to a customer service *** and told me nobody else would provide further information. Spoke to supervisor and didnt offer other information. Once this is completed I will be closing both accounts. I would understand if there was fraud, but this is Regions mistake, and apparently according the bank staff the *** had been doing this to other customers. ********************** should be hold accountable for their faulty system and rude customer service.

I have a prepaid card with Regions to help improve my credit. The card had a zero balance. I requested to discontinue the account, but I had not withdrawn the money out yet. So, the charged me the yearly fee. Then instead of withdrawing the money from my **************** account the charged to the prepaid account itself, which was rejected. They reported to the credit bureau that I failed to pay my bill. This action damaged my credit score 115 points. I tried resolving with Regions, but I paid the "bill" while they investigated. Their conclusions was the payment was not set up correctly by their agent, although passed payments were made correctly. That they would straighten things with the credit bureau. When they made their report to the credit bureau they failed to acknowledge their mistake, only stating that I paid the bill which still damages my credit! This is the second time their payment processing center has messed up my account which I starting to feel is intentionally done. The input that was made could only be done internal. I need this matter resolved and changed on my credit report.

I'm having trouble with Regions Bank. I'm having credit dispute issues with Regions. I last disputed against Regions in or around 12-30-2024, through Transunion online because Regions furnished inaccurate and materially misleading info on my credit reports. Specifically, disputing due to Region's account closed date (02/17/2023) being inaccurate. On my ********** credit report, transactional dates were still reporting as current in the payment history after the closed date which made the disputed closed date on the account confusing, and the last payment date (08/14/2023) because it did not reflect in the payment history of my credit report. I sent Regions a highlighted version of my credit report provided by ********** resulting in the account being 'verified as accurate'. This is problematic because Regions neglected to reasonably investigate the matter leaving the issues unresolved. Regions failed to notice that the info it furnished to my credit report do not align. Their negligence is causing me denials. The **** 1681s-2b requires Furnishers to:(A) conduct an investigation with respect to the disputed information (B) review all relevant information provided by the **** pursuant to section 1681i(a)(2)(C) report the results of the investigation to the **** (D) if the investigation finds that the info is incomplete or inaccurate, report those results to all other **** to which the person furnished the info and that compile and maintain files on consumers on a nationwide basis (E) if an item of information disputed by a consumer is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or cannot be verified after any reinvestigation, based on the results of the reinvestigation promptly(i)modify that item of information;(ii) delete that item of information; or (iii) permanently block the reporting of that item of information.I'm mitigating and requesting that Regions fix the disputed issues or delete the account from my credit report in accordance with the ******** 1681s-2b.

Regions Bank closed my checking account on December 26, 2024. The account had my payroll check pending in the amount of $1604.57. I was told that the account was closed because I filed bankruptcy and the account had a negative balance of $458.00. They said they reversed the transaction and returned it to the employer. That was not true. After several phone calls and back and forth with customer service and branch employees. I was told that the bank had mailed a cashier's check to my address on January 3, 2025. It is now January 22, 2025 and I still do not have my payroll check. Every time I contact the bank about this I am told another lie. On Thursday, January 16th, I was told to go into the branch, speak with the manager and call customer service so that they could stop payment on the check and issue a new one to me at the branch. Once I did this and had the branch manager call, we were told that they could only stop payment, but I would have to wait an additional 2 days before they will issue the check or I could wait for it in the mail. I am still waiting on my payroll check and Regions has yet to help me. All they have done and continue to do is give me the run around and tell me what they will not do. I am in need of my money and I have been waiting for it since December 26th! This is extremely bad customer service and their lack of compassion and urgency regarding this is unbelievable. I cannot get one dependable person at this bank to resolve this issue. I asked one agent if the check was being mailed from ****** or ****** because it shouldn't take this long and was told that it was mailed from **********. Obviously, something is wrong, but they would rather give me the run around instead of doing the right thing and issuing me a new check. I cannot pay my bills or do anything and no one seems to care. I don't know what else to do about this.
