      They will not allow you to make bi monthly payments because it cuts into the intrest they make off of you. I was told because it cuts into the principle payment..no c*** that's the point of making a payment either once or twice a month. Do not use this lender if at all possible...I didn't use them they purchased my loan from another company. Their website is useless and so is calling them. The fact that they even have a B rating by the BBB is astonishing.

      My mortgage was sold to Regions and it has been ***********************. They apply payments to the principal instead of the payment. I have to call to get it transferred to the payment again and again. They obviously have employees who dont know what they are doing or just dont care. If you are unfortunate enough to have a loan with them be sure to watch your payments each month or they will slap late charges on I am sure. They are totally inept.

      Regions has repeatedly dropped the ball in regards to my account. They robbed my children of a Christmas by choosing to overdraft my account out of several hundreds of dollars by choosing to post transactions to my account days and days later. I spoke with a very unhelpful supervisor on last Friday and he refused to credit me in any type of way also told me if I file a complaint someone may or may not call me back I'm considering closing all my accounts with them.

      Regions Bank is awful. A Regions Bank branch fraudulently cashed a check I had written for $3600 that had been stolen in the mail. I filed a claim with my bank in July, as soon as I discovered what happened. I have been getting periodic updates from my bank, each time saying that even though they have been repeatedly reaching out to Regions Bank they had not received any response. Finally in late November I decided to contact Regions Bank's fraud investigation department myself. It turns out that the only way one can contact them is via email (they won't take phone calls, presumably because they don't want to hear people they have victimized berating them). They claim that my bank only contacted them in early November (which is BS) and their claim process takes a minimum of 90 days.My money was stolen nearly six months ago and Regions Bank seems to be playing this out for as long as they can in the hopes that I will get frustrated and give up. It is infuriating that banks can aid in committing a criminal act and not be held to a reasonable time limit for resolution. The entire process is opaque and there's no guarantee that I will ever get my money back. I have filed a complaint with the **** but they don't seem to have any clout. All I can do now is to spread the word about what a horrible institution Regions Bank is.

      If I could give no stars, I would. Regions is the most inept, greedy, corrupt, unsecure, uncaring, impersonal bank I have dealt with in my 69 years of living. Our small church had over $23, 000 in a Money Market that was fraudulently stolen from our account. ********************** has taken over 5 months to tell us they would not cover the stolen money due to a rule that is hidden in all the information when opening the account. This was NOT disclosed to us when we opened it. If it had been, there is no way we would open an account that an identity thief could steal and it not be covered. They lost our claim in the process, and they act like they could care less. STAY AWAY FROM REGIONS! AND IF YOU HAVE MONEY THERE, GET IT OUT BEFORE THEY LOSE IT!

      I opened account few months ago mainly because they advertise early pay. I never received early pay and finally come to find out it is because ACH system does not recognize PR as payroll even though payroll is spelled out on transactions when paycheck is deposited. ATM in ********** ** has no drive thru atm only walk up. This is very inconvenient especially for elderly or disabled people and dangerous. Maybe when they lose customers they will decide to make changes.

      NO STARs.....they took my deposit out of my bank directly 2 days ago during christmas...I cant get home as they put a 7 day hold on it! Theres a death I gotta get to and now Im alone at Christmas because of some imbecile, back office, too fat to get anything done joker at Regions....Was offered 500 to open another account ...kiss my rear end....never deal with this bank

      I've been working with a lender through Regions Bank and it has been a terrible experience. I am a first-time home buyer and while things started pretty great they have been declining drastically. I was initially supposed to close in late October. It is not the beginning of December and just this morning I was informed my closing might be moved yet again. Each time I have realized that someone on the lending team dropped the ball. They would say we were waiting on one final thing and come to find out it's 3 things. They would say they are working on obtaining this document and a week later after no updates they still have not received it only to find out they didn't have the correct contact to obtain that document. It has been the most disorganized and stressful process I've been through. When I ask questions or for updates I get short answers or none at all at times. I get sarcasm. There are often sarcastic and nasty arguments in my inbox of my lender going back and forth with the seller's agent and even my agent. Overall I understand that buying a home is stressful but I just expected my experience to be a bit more positive. I expect as someone who isn't a lender and doesn't do this for a living to have my questions answered and when I don't understand something not to be met with ******* and a nasty attitude. I cannot wait for this experience to be over and move on. I'm one of the first in my friend group to purchase a home and I've told all of them to steer clear of this bank and this process as I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Such a lack of concern for customers and their experience. 0 stars if possible.

      This finance company is horrible and has even worse daily interest rates.Two years ago I had to get a roof put on my house to qualify for a fha loan. And even though the person who sold me the roof told me that the payment plan for the roof was a deferment plan that turned out not to be true. In the two years I have had the loan of *******(twice what it should have cost btw) I have paid ******* dollars in interest. On top of the principle of ******* coming out to a total of ******** dollars that I had to pay back which I finally accomplished on 12/01/23.The daily interest rate of *****% is nothing but usurious, and to charge people that much of a percentage on a daily basis is criminal or at least it should be. Ever since they were brought out/or merged with whoever owns the regions bank company has not really helped. I have gotten multiple emails from regions offering a 400 dollar incentive if I were to open an checking account with them(after a little research I decided it was not in my best interests) the offer was to good to be true and based on the reviews I read it seemed like a trap There is zero transparency for example in my dealings with enerbank USA I have had to ask how much I have paid in interest they do not have a option on their website to find out that bit of information. They update their records once a month and send you a monthly statement at the same frequency.Unless you do not have any other choice please do not use this finance company, because you will be taken advantage of like I have. Thankfully I have paid them off and can stop burning my hard earned money **** dollars in interest wtf.
