We had the misfortune of needing to take a loan with EnerBank when our a/c went out in July in ***** with two young kids. The terms for our loan with EnerBank were not favorable but we were left with little choice. A few years later we were not making any real progress on the loan being only able to make minimum payments. My wife unfortunately broke her ankle and found out she was pregnant in a short span of time. Due to the additional financial hardship I sought out a debt relief program to assist and enrolled my Enerbank loan in the program. During the course of the program EnerBank refused to work with ***********************, threatened legal action against us and forced us to settle for more than the amount I enrolled in the debt relief program through a loan that was a higher interest rate than where we started. EnerBank doesnt care about customers at all. Any company wording to the contrary is just marketing fluff and outright lies packaged to sell their services. Steer clear of having to use their services. I am putting this info on every review I can find.

Impossible to deal with. I had access to the regions.com website a week ago and they removed my access with a note to call customer service. I have called many times and been transferred all around the company with no one able or willing to restore my online access. Now I am going to have to take time off of work and go into a branch (with the point to close my account now). They have charged me random fees the whole time my account has been associated with them. I can't wait to be done with this company.

The EnerBank customer service is sub-standard as is their terrible website. But most importantly, they are extremely mis-leading regarding the date that no-interest loans are due. In their automated Emails, that date will extend out over time, leading you to believe that you have more time to pay than you do. If you look at older or original Emails regarding your loan, you'll see the true no-interest deadline. They set you up to miss that. If you can avoid it, don't use them at all. If a contractor offers you no-interest financing, ask them who they're utilizing. If its EnerBank, RUN!As noted below, they're a Regions Bank company, and if I'd know that I'd have never opted in.

Regions bank took a payment from my checking account with another bank after I was told 3 times that the transaction did not go through. On Monday Nov. 13th I went into my local Regions bank in *********, **. and after about 30 minutes they said the amount of $586.10 would be put back into my checking account. It is now 8 days later and I have not received the credit promised and no one can give me a straight answer as to when I will get the refund of the unauthorized withdrawal to pay my credit card bill as the over payment resulted in my credit card having a negative balance of $586.10 meaning they owe me money.*****************

Beware! Keep a good eye on your account daily. Even if online says something it may be very different than the app (ie like what did or didn't post at the correct times). In my case a charge had apparently been posted that didn't show at all until I drafted my money to another account. Very disappointed to have to be find a new bank. ALWAYS BE AWARE! Couldn't close the account because it had to be 180 days old. The account was 149 days old. Then the report tells me I can't close both account without paying 25 for each account. I'm done with Regions Bank.

Worst excuse of a bank. Had been a customer since ****. I haven't had any bounced checks or overdrafts in over 10 years. If I bought ANYTHING online Amazon, ************** or a particular item I needed they would shut down my card or cards or even lock my account. I am disabled, have been on disability since 2012. I can't drive so I often order something to eat. Once I had to go the entire weekend with nothing to eat except for crackers and bread. Horrible way to treat ANYONE. I opened a account with a different bank in September, not a single problem since.

I would give regions bank a negative 10 rating if they weren't so shady that they prevent reviews from being written on Google...They are in lawsuits for several issues, and now they're applying HOLDS on deposits, so they can use the money for their legal battles. They claim its for fraud prevention, yet they're committing fraud by holding customers money for extended lengths of time.I personally recommend that everyone stay clear of regions bank, especially those from middle and lower level income levels. They will cost you in the long run. I've had my account open for a few months, and they abuse their power to hold customers funds. They discriminate heavily. And almost every employee at any branch you go to... they smile in your face while they take their time talking about nonsense while neglecting to attend to their customers in a timely manner.

So just found out Regions charges $3 just to do a balance inquiry at an ***!! No notice given - no disclosure at the *** that a fee would be charged. Then when I asked about it through customer service they were rude and unhelpful. I get it, it's $3, but I bet that's just the beginning!!

I have had money stolen from me several times from my checking and savings accounts with Regions Bank in ***********, ** (******************************************. In April 2023 $3,844.63 was stolen from my checking and savings accounts. Yesterday (10/31/2023), $54.58 was stolen from my checking account. Both incidents were claimed to be garnishments by VNG (*********************************************************** Apartment). I have no garnishments against me. I have communicated through Regions Online Messaging System. I, also, went into the bank to inform them that the April 2023 incident was theft. Regions Bank is allowing people to steal money from my accounts. They have not contacted me in any way.

I have file an acidified at my local Regions office: Since 2019 they have given me the run around. Unfortunately, My father dead on Oct. 24, 2019 and a person not listed on his account stole his identity and was able to long on to his account to move over a little more than $9,000. I bought the bank the evidence they continue to place this issues under the rug.
