It's zero stars, really. Words can't describe how terrible EnerBank is. I am asking the company- ****'s Waterproofing in ********, ** - who recommended we work with them on the loan for our waterproofing to sever ties with them. We paid monthly on a two year loan then then were two months late for the final payoff and were charged over $7,000 dollars for a $19,000 dollar loan because they compounded the interest for the 60 days, even though we'd paid half of it and the paid the remainder two months late due to a family emergency. You can't get anyone on the phone. I asked if they could reduce the penalty due to a family emergency and they said 'no.' and I have yet to actually speak to someone. They are predatory and they don't even show you any payment history on their online portal. They want customers to pay late so they can penalize them with steep, steep penalties. They're about as corrupt of a bank as I've known. They should be shut down.

Regions banks use hourly banking practices this is illegal, banks are required to have banking hours.

Very Frustrated with the lack of full transparency. I had an online account and paid my balance off in November of 2022. I get a letter in the mail on 3/27/2023 stating that they were billing me $125 additional dollars. When I called their customer service line, I was told that the payoff amount was $70.15. Yet when I logged into their website got a totally different amount due. No transparency. Nothing is the same on any of their interfaces and apparently no way to get a full payoff amount unless you call them directly. I am fairly certain that with the technology of today, being able to get a "10 Day" payoff amount should be feasible. Tired of the distrust that I got from this organization. Enerbank is not good overall.

I bank at Regions. I wrote a check on my checking account to my daughter and sent her to Regions to cash the check. They charged her to cash the check. When a check is cashed at the bank where the account is the teller can quickly look at that account. It was not an issue of not enough money to cover the check. The issue was my child does not have an account at Regions BUT Daddy does and the check was written by Daddy at MY bank out of MY account. So they cashed it but Charged my daughter. That's a BAD business policy. It hurts people who are poor, struggling and dont have bank accounts. Anytime anyone takes a check to any bank that issues that check it should be cashed NO charge. That's what Banks DO.. It's part of their business. Checks written on that bank should be honored FULLY.. When the teller can see that account is viable, cash the check. When it's cashed NO charges sould apply. IF I owe you money and you start to hand me 100 dollars and I say, no hand it to my kid, DO NOT take a dollar from my Kid. That's easy to reason out.

Regions Bank processed an erroneous charge to my bank account without my permission, and then imposed a wrongful hidden fee on my checking account.

I think that Regions Bank has very deceptive practices. I was charged 3 overdraft fees totaling $108 dollars. They say that they can charge up to 3 per day and it looks like they just hit their target with me. I reached out to an online banker through chat and after I didnt get any kind of resolution, I asked to do a survey and on the survey I explained my situation. The only response that I got was them asking what could they to improve things and still no resolution!!!

DO NOT USE THIS BANK. We are searching right now to start a class action lawsuit against them once and for all. We are gathering up as many people as we can for support. We have fully paid this bank off and they literally have kept our account open and in dispute. The lawyers who work for them have not done their job at all whatsoever in closing the account. They do not return calls and they cannot be trusted. They do not keep their word on anything. Even in writing. Our account was paid off back in 2021. Instead of closing it, they continue to report our account as late and unpaid which keeps the credit bureaus score low. This has been going on for 2 years and they have received their payment in full. They are playing around with peoples credit and lively hood. We will be going to the news and social media about this bank to completely expose them. This bank is an absolute corporate SCAM. We have advised all of the people we work with on construction to never use them as a loan for anything. Word travels fast when you do light work..

Dealing with Regions Mortgage is an absolute nightmare! Call and you cannot get to the person you previously talked with. Sent in documents they request/need, they mysteriously disappear. Resend them, same problem! I have been waiting on documents from them for 2 weeks that were supposedly being sent as I was on the phone. Called and asked again only to be told they couldn't do so since they had already requested that they be sent. You never get the same answer when you call! My situation/problem with them has been going on for over 2 years now! It is a never ending nightmare because all the paperwork seems to disappear each time it is sent.

Last year on Oct 2022 we did our bathroom remodel with ************* and paid our down payment $9932 and the sales person ********************* told us that we can do financing option for 12 months with NO INTEREST. Months goes by, what we know from the Enerbank customer service for more than once, the financing will starting when the remodel begin, which was on May 11, 2022 to May 13.My husband called The EnerBank USA about the financing. Due the pandemic, it took USA BATH to starting the job as soon as the sales agent told us ( about a month after we signed the deal ) more than a month after we closed the deal on Oct. So, We wanted to make sure if the loan wont start or we will being charge until the remodel begin because we want the no interest financing. My husband called few times to EnerBank and all the agents on the phone told him that The Enerbank wont charges anything. And they will restart the loan when the remodel begin. It also we received a bill with zero amount for few times. So every month since May 2022, we paid more amount of money to make it done a year so we dont have to pay for INTEREST. But on Feb 28,2023, we got the bill and this time we saw they charged for Interest *****%. My husband called them right away and the lady on the phone told him that the interest had accrued from the first month we took out the loan which was on Oct 2022. But in fact, that is not the truth that they told my husband on the phone for more than once. But what they told us, its that we dont have to start paying until the work is done. We paid it the left over at the same day we called, it was around $2000 and the $1000 was on the also be use to paid it off. So the point from this complaint is that we dont appreciate them for not telling us from the start that we were accruing interest. In fact, because of the pandemic and the supplies changed failures that our loan will be reset because it was taking so long.Shame on you EnerBankUSA! Never again!
