Regions Bank, specifically the ********, ** location, but the Regions Bank Corporation in and of itself is horrible. Let me preface this review by stating that both my parents, several of my friends, and even my son left Regions bank years ago due to their blatant incompetence and lack of quality service for all of their customers. They deliberately have fraudulent practices with no shame or remorse. I recently deposited a check into my Regions account. At the time of the deposit, I was given a written contract that detailed how they would distribute my funds to me. The contract stated that this was being done because the check exceeded a certain amount of money. The contract was signed by a Regions representative. The following day, I received an email stating that they would no longer honor the agreement of the initial contract with no reason given. When I called to inquire I was told that they did not have to keep their word and it was a common practice therefore I could do nothing about it. Finally, the following day, I received a letter stating that they were not releasing funds for 10 days because of the physical appearance of the check. Needless to say, this clearly is a lie because if the check appeared fraudulent, why accept it initially.? When I asked why did they take it in the first place and further hold up my money, I was told by a representative I dont work at that bank location and I dont know why they did it. This was a state issued check so I have reached out to them telling that Regions is implying, in writing, that they issue checks that appear fraudulent and will not cash it. They have since gotten their legal team involved. I have spoken to an attorney and I am looking to file a class action suit against this business as it appears to me that these are discriminatory practices that only happen to people in low income area. Please file a complaint with the ************************ as well (you can do it online). They will be held accountable

Regions is over a loan Im working with the clients Im working with for a new home build. Im the *** On the job. She has lied several times about the way we would move forward. She had told me she would accept certain documentation only to later change her mind to not accept it. Which caused major problems. She is not cut out for the job she has and should be a teller and nothing more. In her position one should never lie and cause problems between the home owner and the builder. Basically if you speak your mind to her she will make up rules and procedures to move forward to make it harder to move forward with the build. I have this all documented where she lied. My suggestion is to never use regions bank for a home loan. It has been the biggest nightmare Ive ever had to deal with as a builder. Ill never take another job on if Regions is the lender.

Regions contacted me via their fraud system that they suspected a fraudulent charge. After a week waiting for a new debit card I discovered they APPROVED and posted charges from the old card and never alerted me. I still haven't received the first replacement card and now that I've reported new disputes they cancelled the first replacement card (which I haven't received) and issued a new replacement card. As to the money stolen from my account, they claim it will take another 10 days on top of the week I've already waited. This bank is clearly slow, and especially unsafe. I have requested a call from a manager or Vice President multiple times on previous issues and all have been ignored. Do NOT trust Regions bank with your money or expect Regions Bank to be responsive or care in the slightest about your wealth.

We had a card stolen and the process to get it reported had me spend an entire work day in their office. Afterwards they froze our accounts without warning. They had no mechanism for unfreezing it so we had no access to our money. Meaning none of us were able to get our paychecks for weeks. The freeze also alerted the banks of me and my coworkers subsequentially force freezing our personal accounts for fraud. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck and we had to pull together to pool resources just to get by. But that wasn't the end of it. The claim has been denied multiple times over admitted banking errors. There is zero oversite. It is appallingly disorganized. I'm having a very hard time believing this level of incompetency isn't intentional theft. They are in breach of their policies and the law at this point. The outcome of this has been financially devastating for my community.

Be ***** of Regions Bank money market advertising. They do not tell you the minimum balance required in the solitation email. They say ****** but you need at least ******. I had ***** taken for admin fees before I noticed. Hope they enjoy the ***** because they lost my business and their credibility for not being transparent. You should fire whoever marketed that program.

I was a victim of fraud scam. I bank with regions and when I reported it to them. They did not have there stuff together. While I was being scammed I was not able to get a person to talk to. The prompts on their phone did not help me at all. Their customer service is very disoriented. A guy named ************************ up on me. I was not mean to him. Just stated how bad the service was. I reported my issue to them over the phone. They did not require me to come in and submit any documentation to a live person So they turned down my dipute.(They never told me they turned down my dispute. Nor did they give a reason. I only found out when I went to the bank. And then I was told I should call them and check.) On just what I said had happened. Stating since I made the transaction it was on me. Who does this, without any actual documentation? I am ditching this bank. Do not bank there. I have been with them for years. Never ask anything from them. And the times I did they could not do anything for me. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. Trust me. They are not in your corner.

This bank was recommended to me to finance my basement restoration. They have no real way to track your balance unless you call their office or wait for your monthly statement. There's also no way to have a multiple payment option where the first goes to interest + principle, and the other goes to principle. You literally have to call in each time to make a principle payment. Its almost as if they want to keep you a slave to paying down your balance with them. Be very aware and be cautious when considering this bank

Terrible customer service. Called in a change order at 1 pm on a Wednesday and was told to give her about 15 minutes because she was the only one there. Got to bank and only one teller, who just started 3 weeks ago was at desk with an older lady sitting at next opening typing on computer. There were 2 people in front of Mr and about 3 came in behind me. The older lady was not helping any customers. After I had stood in line for about 15 minutes the older lady looked up and I asked if I could just get my change order. She said I would have to wait like everyone else very rudely. When I finally got to the teller, the older lady told Mr that I was causing a scene and I was rude. She also stated if I acted like that again she would not serve me again. I told her that the new girl needed help and someone should be helping her since there were so many people in line. She said not anyone can get a drawer and obviously I didn't know how the banking industry works. I told her no I didn't, but in any business if you have a line you should do everything you can to accommodate. I told her I felt bad for the teller because you could tell she was struggling. After the older lady walked away the new teller mouthed "Thank you" to me. This lady was very unprofessional and there are never enough tellers working. Especially when they send everyone to lunch break at the same time. If I didn't use this bank for business I would never go there again.
