1 starI would stay away from this bank. They are not for there customers. I opened a dispute and they gave me a credit then without telling me they decided to give the merchant my money out of my account. It has been almost two months. They did not call or send a email. Their excuse is, they sent me a letter. On my Regions app the mailing address is my address but they sent the letter to my brothers mailing address then try to hide behind that for an excuse. Then they gone on to tell me that there is nothing they can do for me since they have gave the merchant my money. You should have sent me a email asking for more information before closing this dispute. Or how about a courtesy call, YOU SUPPOSE TO PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!! There is so much more that could had been done then tell me basically well that is your problem.Review fromBrooks B

1 starWent to the *************** location to get a legal document notarized. Im told they no longer notarize legal documents. Thats the craziest thing ever. *** had an account with ********************** for over 20 years and they cant notarize a legal document for me. They sent me to the *** store where it cost $15 to have a document notarized. The worst customer service from a bank is the *************** location. I will be switching banks next week.Review fromKendall B

1 starThis is for regions as a whole and mostly corporate. Ive banked with regions for ten plus years. Recently I went through a divorce and refinances the car using them. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVR!!!!!!! Their interest rate was over two times others. Not only that I had to go in 10 times on different occasions to sign stuff they forgot as well as did my ex husband. Where as the credit union I finances with now I had it done in a day. Ok so they send me the title application almost TWO MONTHS later so my car is unregistered that long. AND ITS IN MY MARRIED NAME and not whats on my drivers license. ********************** REFUSED TO FIX IT!!!! And said my only option was to refinance again and they would put it in the right name. UNBELIEVEABLE!!! They will not work with you there for their mistake!! I refinanced with credit union with way better rate and it was done in a day. Now I paid off my credit card through them and regions hasnt taken the money to pay it off they were given!!! Regions is an absolute nightmare and I suggest NEVER banking with them.Review fromDaniel H

1 starExtremely rude management and tellers. We opened up an annuity at the Regions bank located at ************************************* and after reading over the contract we decided to cancel it within the freelook period because there were negative aspects not mentioned by the annuity salesperson, ***************************, that set it up. She then was uncooperative and rude when we asked to cancel it and kept asking "why" after she explicitly told us we could cancel at anytime in the freelook period and not have to give a reason as to why. Her terrible attitude was probably due to her realizing she was not going to get her commission from the annuity sale. After refusing to explain why we wanted to cancel, she said we would have to wait 3 hours before we could speak to her about canceling it. We ended up going to the branch on *************************************************** and they took care of the issue, *************************** helped us and was very professional. He should be promoted over other people that have no idea what good customer service is. ********************** needs better management. And *************************** should be removed from her position or severely reprimanded for the way she acted. Regions has zero clue on how good customer service works. On other occasions we also got charged a fee for a cashiers check when no other bank we have does that. And Regions also has low interest rates compared to competitors. Because of all these issues and terrible customer service we have had with ********************** we are making arrangements to transfer to another bank.Review fromRuth R

1 starSeems like a scam. Invoice showed I owed $6,218.34 when previous interest-free balance was $4,560.00 No terms are shown on the loan (how long until complete loan is due - one year? Two?). The amount of interest charged is not showing on the invoice. There is absolutely zero information as to how interest was calculated. I received an invoice May 11 after receiving previous invoice in early March. They skipped an entire invoice with envelope to mail them my check payment, the only way I've paid from the start.NEVER agree to a home improvement loan with Enerbank USA. It appears to be a fraud, though the people who did the work have not contacted me.Review fromSydni R

1 starIf I could I would give this location no stars. I went through the *** this morning only for my card to get ate up and not able to deposit any money out. I went inside the branch to explain what happened. The location was not busy but the lady at the window was moving very slow. Once I finally got to the windowed I expressed to her what had just happened and she went ahead and got the machine to start making my card and asked for me to wait by it so I did. Now my debit card only took about 5 minutes to make and I did wait on the young lady to finish with who was in front of her. Even stayed quiet when she got everyone in line done. Finally I asked her could she please get my debit card for me because at this point its been 10 minutes since I had been standing by the machine and about 30 minutes now that Ive been in the store when this was only suppose to be a simple bank run. She tells me give her a few minutes and she continues to work on her computer. The machine is less than 3 ft from her. There are about 3 other bank representatives in there office. I guess 1 lady saw me still waiting and she finally walks out and gets me my debit card. The amount of time it took that lady to get out of her desk the young lady 3 ft from the machine could of been got my card, had me out the door and back to her computer. I will never be going back to this location again. Yall suck!Review fromWendy R

1 starWorst bank Ive ever dealt with. They offer all these perks and then dont want to give you the financial rewards such as credit card points. It takes them months to give you your cash rewards. Same with the gift cards for opening accounts. My other banks did it within a few days. Regions its a few months.Review fromMelinda L

1 starAttempted to withdraw $2000.00 from my personal account that I am the sole holder of and was told by the teller that she would have to send me a code before she could withdraw the money. I did not have my cell phone with me and she would only allow me to withdraw an amount of less than $2000,00. I was in person, in the lobby of the bank and gave her my checkbook and local state drivers license. What idiot made this rule?? Come on Regions, You really dont want customers. She said it was for security. And why the code only needed at $2000.00 or higher? In this day $2000 is not much money. And IT IS MY MONEY!!! Moving my money elsewhere.****************Review fromYvette J

1 starMe and my husband's daughter is a victim of identity theft. She accidently lost her ID and card. Come to find out after we search high and low for them that someone was fraudulently using my daughter's name and her bank card to somehow cash large amounts of checks from companies we never even heard of. This has been going on for over a year now and we have been back and forth to the bank, calling, filed a policed report even called the main office yet nobody seems to help us resolve this. We have been loyal customers with Regions for 9 years and thought they would help us God forbid something like this would happen and sadly it did to our daughter. It has come to the point that they froze my husband's social security number and now he is not able to open another account savings or checking because he was the parent to help our daughter open her account. His account was how we paid our mortgage, utility bills, car notes, insurance all that. The bank is practically accusing us of fraudulent activity on our account. It seems like they are blaming us. We had absolutely nothing to do with what happened to our daughters account. She was catfished and that is so sad. Now they are saying we have to pay the money back and my husband can't get another account anywhere for at least another 7 years, so they say. CRAZY!!!! I really need to find out how to help my family with this unfortunate situation. UGH! This is terrible and I feel for my daughter because this will affect her credit too and she is just starting her young life don't even know what credit is, yet she just needed an account for her first job. See this is why we was teaching our children about credit and banks and fraud. We are just going to keep praying on it and pray someone can help us.Review fromRobert G

1 star20+ year customer with **********************. Never missed a payment. They have our mortgage loan and was happy at first. My daughter got married in July 2023. Planning a wedding is chaotic. In all the chaos my wife and I missed our mortgage payment. Meanwhile had 70k in our savings account. Just an honest mistake. Contacted Regions and they forgave the missed payment. Thought it was over. NOPE. In March 2024 Regions crawfished and entered notes on my and my wifes credit report that we missed a payment 8 months earlier. Our credit scores dropped 80 points. Lies and dishonesty. DO NOT BANK WITH REGIONS BANK. YOU ARE A NUMBER AND MEAN NOTHING TO THEM. So dissatisfied. Changing banks. Never to look back.
