      20+ year customer with **********************. Never missed a payment. They have our mortgage loan and was happy at first. My daughter got married in July 2023. Planning a wedding is chaotic. In all the chaos my wife and I missed our mortgage payment. Meanwhile had 70k in our savings account. Just an honest mistake. Contacted Regions and they forgave the missed payment. Thought it was over. NOPE. In March 2024 Regions crawfished and entered notes on my and my wifes credit report that we missed a payment 8 months earlier. Our credit scores dropped 80 points. Lies and dishonesty. DO NOT BANK WITH REGIONS BANK. YOU ARE A NUMBER AND MEAN NOTHING TO THEM. So dissatisfied. Changing banks. Never to look back.

      a week ago I took a check for $100 from ******** National, my car insurance company, into Regions Bank in ******** ** on the square. The check had been printed ever so slightly off that the numbers wouldn't register via mobile deposit so I walked the check inside. The teller and the manager were nice enough to literally cut the check into pieces and taped it so the computer would accept it. I was so thankful! I even made a comment before I left that I was happy with that transaction and that I had previously had a bad experience with someone but that particular transaction made up for it in my mind. I left happy! thankful because I needed that hundred bucks after being in the ** the night before and I just wanted to get some ***** food. I went to a local restaurant and my $11 transaction gets declined. I immediately think to myself "oh no I have no other way to pay for this, let me call the bank to see what's going on." I called, and ******************* informed me at that point that SHE put a hold on that check because I didn't have enough money in my account to cover the funds if the check bounced. she did not give me a receipt. she was literally face to face with me (unknowingly, I didn't know who she was at the time) and did not tell me at that time that she held my funds. I have banked with Regions for over 6 years and while my account isn't large, it is utilized. I didn't just open this account last week. small town banking matters. ???? she berated me, told me she's worked in banking since 1986 and that's the way it is bc it's how it's always been. mind you Regions charges you 5% of whatever you deposit to access it immediately ??NOW. yesterday! ******************* called me from a phone number not associated with the bank (that popped up scam risk) and introduced herself and I told her "ma'am I have nothing to say to you." and hung up the phone. I have called Regions Green line three times, I've tried walking in, and no one will take my complaint or do anything with it.

      Regions Mortgage is refusing mortgage payments and blaming the bank. I have tried talking to them and they are saying my bank is refusing the payment. My bank has no record of them attempting to collect the payment. I am being charged bounce fees and late fees when Regions is responsible. Filed a complaint with the *****

      Regions Bank is pitiful in every facet of banking. ATMs are consistently failing in one way or another. **************** in lobby is slow and unhelpful. Was content using just the online banking until two weeks ago when they did something to it and now all I get is "Internal server error". went to two different branches to get it corrected and still not working. One rep actually told me it was my computer, take it to Best Buy geek squad and have them figure it out. SERIOUSLY? I have to pay a third party to try and correct their mess up? Now looking for a new bank, though every one I have encountered here in ******* are terrible. Sad what has happened to customer service in this day and age.

      ATM only dispenses $20 bills. **** refuses to give change without an account. Lady bankers are very rude about the entire situation. Strongly suggest avoiding this location due to the employees inside.

      Dispute department is inconsistent in the way they handle things and their people cut you off and hang up on you which causes you to have to call back and wait in line all over again. This bank does not have your back and if you ever reach their dispute rep ***** just be ready to call back because she doesnt follow the same guidelines as other reps and when you try to explain to her what another rep told you to do she cuts you off and then hangs up if you try to say anything else. Useless and rude. Wastes all of your time dealing with her.

      The Regions Bank in Palm Harbor, ** offered a $300 bonus if you made a certain amount of purchases with a new account. I went ahead and opened the account and deposited at least $100 to start.I didn't make the correct amount of purchases in the time specified for the offer.. that's okay. I went ahead and kept the account with a small $100+ balance for a reserve bank account for a rainy day, and would eventually deposit more funds.Just received a paper statement from them showing a -$4 balance this week.I went to the branch and asked what was going on. The teller informed me that they've been charging me $8/mo since I haven't been making any purchases from the account, so now they've "soft-closed" my account. I was never informed of this. Terrible customer service, and extreme lack of communication. They basically stole the money I had deposited. Won't be using them in the future.

      This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Their billing practices and customer service is horrible. I made a payment, they told me it was received on Feb 7, **** and as of today Feb 25, **** it still has not posted to my account. Their website is worse.

      Absolute WORST bank I have ever had to deal with. Every single month they keep flagging the exact same 2 companies which I have automatic payments on with fraud, and then I am unable to use my debit card. I literally have to call them every week! Now I am unable to use my card at all and their customer service is closed. Figures! What's ironic though, is how when there actually IS fraud, they make you pay it! I have also changed my name with them at least twice and it still has my old name on it.

      My loan amount was $2700, after making payments of $79 a month for 2 years my balance is $2100. I just realized $34 of that is going towards interest. I hope that this bank goes out of business.
