      We purchased a 2023 Toyota 1794 Tundra last year. The brakes have squeaked since day one and SunToyita has not done anything to fix them. They told us to call ********* center which we have. Nothing has been. The brakes are SO LOUD and squeal and it is so embarrassing. Very surprised that Toyota would let this go on. Have told everyone we know not to purchase a Toyota as they have not done anything. Will be our last Toyota.

      I wish I could give this no stars, but it doesn't let you do that. Do not buy a Toyota! First of they are manufactured in ****** now. They are not a Japanese brand any longer. Leasing a Toyota was the worst mistake we could of made. They nickel and dime you to death in their favor, but they won't give you a credit for unused miles because they don't do that. Very one sided.

      There needs to be legal action brought against SETF. Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Yes, I fell behind in my payments. But always tried to make a payment even to the point of paying on the vehicle but unable to drive it due to not being able to put gas in it. On Feb 16, 2024, I spoke with an account representative. I explained the situation regarding payments, why I had been behind and AGREED to make a payment on March 1st, 2024. I was not informed that the car would be charged off, my account closed, and the car listed and put out for repo by then. Also, there is a cosigner on the account as well. At no time did anyone send the cosigner nor myself ANY letters. Hey SETF, did you know that the postmaster can track letters? No calls made, no emails absolutely no contact from SETF. And while my address has changed, the cosigner's address, email, and phone number are all the same as they were when the vehicle came into our possession. The collection representative we spoke to the first week of March, *******, deliberately lied stating that numerous attempts had been made to myself and the cosigner. Then back-pedaled stating that SETF didn't have her information. Impossible when it is REQUIRED on the loan paperwork at vehicle signing? I witnessed the salesperson input ALL of the cosigner's information. We have the same paperwork as you, *******. Payments have been made on time and in full, as well as ahead at times. Look around SETF, people are struggling to make ends meet and the fact that I decided to keep that vehicle as long as I did was a miracle. But when someone tries to call about the account, the main person who makes the payments who is listed on the account and SETF won't talk to them UNTIL the payment is late is ridiculous. And to that little boy named ******* that felt mighty and powerful to belittle someone experiencing homelessness(due to choosing to make the car payments required) woe to you.

      Terrible and corrupt. Took 3 tries for them to accept bank check to payoff lease. Then they never sent title and I lost sale of vehicle because they refused to help even after they said they would. Never lease or buy from them

      I really wish that I could give this company 0 stars. I went to the *** to get a duplicate title and while I was there I learned that my car had a lien against it with Southeast Toyota Finance aka World Omni Financial Corp. Now my car has been paid off for over 5 to 6 years and we were handed the original title but lost it. The car should not have a lien against it at all. So I called Southeast Toyota Finance aka World Omni Financial Corp and found out that they did indeed still have a lien against my car and it was never released due to an error on their part. I was told that they would mail me the lien release but they never apologized or explained why they never released the lien from when the car was paid off over 5 to 6 years ago. We were literally handed the title for the car from this company but they forgot to release the lien which is ridiculous. I will never buy another Toyota let alone another one through this company at all. Also I called on Monday for the lien release and was told that it didn't get mailed out until that following Thursday via regular mail instead of one day mail due to the inconvenience. This company is a joke.

      Zero customer service skills, and they turn off phones almost an hour before their listed close time and thats almost to be expected with this kind of finance company, unfortunately. The reason I am giving them one star, besides the listed issues above, is that they are stuck in the stone age. No app to make payments, and their website is terrible. I was told by one phone rep that if I wouldn't to make a "principal only payment" I would have to write a check. I don't even have checks anymore, the last check I wrote was in 2015... You are making so much money from interest; at least step up your tech game, get a phone app that works, update your basic website, and make principal-only payments easier! And please answer your phone, I've been on hold for 40 minutes!

      They are a bunch of s**** **** They sent me a letter stating my car has been paid off , I traded it months ago. Now the web site says I owe more money. LOL Idiots. Calling them will get you no where...

      If I could give setf a zero star, I would. I purchased a car and financed through setf. I thought it would be a good finance company since the dealership was so great to deal with, but I was very wrong. My first payment was due 11/4. I broke my payment into 2 payments and made one payment on 10/30 and the other on 11/2 even paying $100 extra. When I looked at my account, it was showing half of my balance past due. I called and found out they had put the first payment I made towards the principal instead of my car note which made my account show a past due balance. I ended up escalating the matter to a manager who assured me the payment was reversed and put towards the car note and should take 2 business days to reflect on my account. I checked a week later and it's still showing past due. The customer service reps were so rude when I asked to speak with a manager and called me a b*tch. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes before I hung up. I was on the phone a total of an hour 15 minutes. Worse auto finance company I've encountered. As soon as I can refinance with another lender, I will. I would never recommend Southeast Toyota Finance to anyone.

      Just ridiculous customer service, absolutely helpless and rude. Stay away from them. I tried to change the bank information for 5 days with their docusign and they didnt process the new information and when I called to ask for help and complain they just hang up.

      On 8-8-23 I was let go from my job. I had a month's worth of bills in savings so I was good for the first month with my bills. But going on the second month of unemployment I am struggling to get my bills paid. I called SETF with whom I have my car finance with and got an extension on my car payment, so I thought. Something happened with my payment and the extension wasn't given. I did not receive an email or a phone call or anything letting me know that it did not go through. Just a suggestion maybe there's a way that you could send an automative message ,email, phone call or text message to the customer if this happens to them. Just a suggestion. Around October 20th I received a phone call from the financial department stating that my payment was ************************************************ because I had been thinking that my payment was taken care of for that month the month of September and this was October around 2 weeks before my next payment was due. The customer service agent directing me to figure out why the payment was reversed with my bank etc and then call back. After reviewing everything I tried calling back that day four times and the system hung up on me every time. Of course this was very frustrating so I gave up. On October 23rd I received a phone call from another customer representative named ***************************. He is the reason I'm writing this review. ******* was very polite, very knowledgeable and very patient with me. No matter how upset I was ******* remained calm and caring about my situation. ******* is the epitome of what every human being should be like. ******* showed lots of compassion for my situation. Through our conversation ******* was able to work a deal for me covering my payment for September and October which was a great stress relief. Because of **************** will recommend SETF to everyone! Thank you ******* ??P.S. Give ******* a raise
