On December 3, 2023, I was racially profiled and detained while shopping at Sam's Club in Matthews, NC. While waiting for my car to be serviced, I shopped in the club. At about 2:30pm, I went to the Cafe. Since the Cafe area was full, I had to park my shopping cart near the Cafe, but within my eyesight. As I ordered my food, I saw a Sam's employee (Antoinette) looking at my shopping cart and asking Cafe patrons if the cart belonged to them. When I saw her, I let her know that the cart belonged to me. Once I approached her, she looked at me and asked me if I had a receipt. I told her, "No, because I used Scan & Go." I informed her that the receipt was on my phone. Then, she proceeded to tell me that my "cart looked stuffed" and that she needed to "check my receipt". Mind you, I had made no attempts to leave the store. I was simply trying to get a snack before I was detained by Antoinette. At this point, I felt a little confused and a little discriminated. So, I informed the employee that I needed to finish getting my meal. Her response was, "Ma'am, do what you need to do." As I returned to the drink area, I looked for a member of management for assistance. There was no one in sight. Once I returned to the area where Antoinette had taken possession of my cart, she proceeded to wrangle another shopping cart. I showed her my Scan & Go receipt. She scanned and moved one item at a time from my cart to the second shopping cart near the Cafe area. She informed me that she was the Front End Manager and that she had the authority to check my cart because it looked "stuffed". I informed her that "my cart was not the only cart that looked stuffed" in the store that day. Once she verified that all items in my cart matched my receipt, she did not apologize or anything. I have been a Sam's Club Member for over 20 years. I am accustomed to having my receipt checked on my way out of the door, but never in the Cafe area. I was treated like a common criminal instead of a member.

Trying to get a resolution to my order is like calling mars. If I could fly to Delhi and find the csr who keeps putting me on hold I would. Sams customer service is non existent. They have false advertising on their website and promise to deliver a washing machine by a certain date. Reality is they want to send it a month later. Unacceptable. Leaving a one star is too much more like negative 10.

I ordered 3 LG appliances items for $ 1, 769.89 on November 12th. It was posted on my account that they will be delivered on November 30th. I have never received the email conformation or tracking number. I have contacted Sam’s and LG via emails and via phones multiple times. After spending hours on the phone with them, I received a tracking number which was wrong. Finally last week Sams assigned a customer escalations specialist to my case, who insured me that she will figure out where all my items went. I never heard from her again, and she doesn’t respond to my emails. This is unacceptable!

I've been a member of Sam's Club for 14 years. I am a household of 6 so once a week for the last 14 years, I do most of my shopping in your local locations. My truck bed was filthy and instead of purchasing 4 chairs in the store, my wife ordered them online. After tracking said delivery had occurred, we reached out to customer service, not once, not twice, but 3 times. On the 3rd time I asked to speak to a supervisor. They said it would be 5 to 7 minutes. After an hour and 7 minutes, I was finally able to talk to a manager. At the end of our very frustrating conversation, I asked if she could guarantee delivery of the goods. She said she could not. I asked her to cancel the order and I just picked them up in the store that day. She confirmed that it would be canceled. Now I have had 2 of the 4 chairs delivered. Never received a refund. And now I have to go back to the store to return the items I purchased because she told me the order would be cancelled. Nothing would have ever been wrong had I just not used the acclaimed online platform to order products from.

Deceptive! Sam’s sold the Plus membership with promise of free shipping on most items then half way through the year started charging to ship the items I order most.

My son opened a Sam's club account a year ago and I use my card to buy things when needed which we haven't bought anything ever 6 months but since my card was on file not my sons they charged it for the renewal fee. So after several days of talking to them and saying I will get refunded and a $25 gift card for my troubles nothing has been refunded yet or a gift card issued. I have been told by several different people that I have talked to that it will be taken care of, yet nothing has been done! Nothing but lies from this company I have everything in writing everything is screenshotted so now I'm filing a report against them.

I ordered a swing llay for mty grand dtrs bday from Sams. Initially, I was supposed to get it on November 8, then the following week, then two weeks later, and I have not received the item. I have contacted Sam’s via email and left messages via phone for supervisors to contact me back they replied to two of my emails, but with information that is not accurate! I’m trying to get a refund for the item and have not been able to get an answer from them!

(Sarasota, FL) Upsetting Sam's recommend Members buy new tires when NOT NEEDED :( In Aug (2023), Sam's Tire Tech looked at 2 older tires to make sure tire depth/tire integrity were good to determine if needed only rotate/balance or if 2 new tires needed. Tech assessed tires expressing good shape, no worries & schedule rotate/balance only. I mentioned happy to defer new tire expense & brought in to check because tires were 6 yrs old. At this point, Tech refuses rotate/balance stating tires are not safe recommending buy new tires. I spoke he assured few min prior tread/ tire integrity were perfectly fine so how safe & okay one min & now not? After going in circles, left store.
Within few wks, made appt at ANOTHER Sam's Club, brought vehicle in, told them tires 6 yrs old, they assessed telling me in great shape, perfectly safe & rotated/balanced tires. After this, spoke with Fruitville Tire Manager expressing upset what transpired at his store, he stated he/his Techs were right to refuse service, to recommend new tires stating Michelin policy replace tires 5-7 yrs & he trains Techs to replace at 5.
I contacted Sam's Corp through email on experience sending Michelin website with Michelin policy in writing stating: after 5 years, inspect tires once a year & providing tire depth is within the legal limits (3/32 or greater) & tire integrity itself good, Michelin doesn't recommend tire replacement UNTIL AFTER 10 YEARS. The second Sam's I went to has written on paperwork my one tire was at 6/32, other 7/32. The Industry Standard states: 2/32 or less replace, 3/32 to 4/32 okay but time to consider replacement, > 5/32 all good & no action required. NOTHING was wrong with these tires though Fruitville refused service trying to sell me new tires.
Too many emails/calls with Sam's Corp where run around, "We'll get back to you...", responses vague not addressing the issues & after 3 months, nothing accomplished other than will never buy tires from Sam's again. Shameful.

Sams Club - what a JOKE. This company has been preying on consumers since the day it opened its doors. They push their "big box big savings" lie out to the general public but in all truth and actuality Sams Club is just a shiny version of WalMart in all of tis tragic splendor. Their "leadership" are ill-educated, no-experience promotees who somehow found their way on the favorite list to get their promotion. At the end of the day there isn't one club out there that employs one manager who actually knows how to lead, manage the club, handle complaints, and follow-up with the customer. I have NO idea why Sams Club has survived - its probably because they allow bar-code shopping to anyone who walks in the door with a photo on their phone of the barcode. They do not verify. memberships - that means that anything out there with a mobile device can shop. How does this benefit those who pay for memberships??? It doesn't!!!
Sams Club: 5101 S Pecos Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89120 - Too incompetent to do a simple return. The total cost: $25.46. The issue: the dead brain behind the counter at member services refunded it to the wrong card. Why is that a big deal? Budgeting and finance that's why.
Simple task that even the most mundane who get a paycheck at Sams Club can't seem to do right - what makes you think that they're going to get it right when it really counts?
Message to Sams Club Corporate: I don't know how you've been getting away with a failed training and retraining program for your employees but its overdue and demonstrates what a failure you are at leadership principles and mentoring. As far as managing the actual store - you might as well make it a Smart N Final because those so-called people walking in the door with their membership card bar code photos should be REFUSED. It is stupid to allow this to happen and makes your organization appear incompetent and not worthy of the consumer's business.
