Sam's Club is a good store, with good food prices & quality, but a limited selection. I recently bought a $20 annual membership. It took some work by a knowledgeable customer service employee at a store to get this promotional rate. Memberships are automatically renewed for $50, which I was not told about at the time of purchase. Cancelling the $50 renewal is done via "Membership Settings" on their website, and it is purposely not easy to find. I expected better from a Walmart company.

I’ve been sitting on this phones call, trying to get a refund for something that wasn’t delivered in my order. Just trying to get a refund… I’ve been sitting on this phones call call for 50 minutes and have gotten put on hold for 47 of those, been off and on hold and swapped around for 5 times now. I’m sick of it.

My wife and I went to Sams club in Danville,VA on 3/2/25 at 10:30am to buy a mattress. There were 3 different kinds of mattresses and 3 different prices listed. 1 for $799, 1 on clearance for $328 and 1 on clearance for $278. We chose the $328 one. At checkout it rang up as $799. I asked for assistance. We waited 10 min for 1 person to come. We explained the situation and they said we needed to speak with the mgr. We waited another 10 min for them. We explained the situation and went back to the mattress section with the mgr and 2 signs showing costs were now missing. The mgr Jessica reviewed surveillance and it showed her employee removed the signs. It was almost like she thought we were lying but surveillance proved we were 100% correct. Jessica was rude, extremely slow almost like she was stalling hoping we would just leave. We waited at checkout 30 minutes for her to review surveillance proving what we had said. She would not honor the price as listed saying the best she could do was knock off $100. I told her the price listed was $328 and Sams should honor that as it's a standard practice. She then said arrogantly that was not a law. Long story short, my wife and I wasted 3 hours of time only to be jerked around by incompetence at Sams. Jessica's employees were at fault. It was a $471 cost difference but the "best" Jessica could do was knock off $100. I appealed again even showing her it violates consumer protection laws to not honor the price and she did not care about their fraud (bait and switch tactic). Jessica has no business managing anything or having anything to do with customers. SHE NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED FOR HER EMPLOYEE'S MISTAKE and had this "I don't care" attitude about the whole situation. My wife and I are extremely irate and have lost faith in Sam's club as an honest vendor.

Sam’s Club does provide assistance when something goes wrong with their delivery service. I ordered some items from Sam’s Cllub and paid to have them delivered. One item out of the order was missing. I tried calling the local store and no one answered the phone. I used Sam’s Club chat feature on their website. They stated that a refund for the item was processed. I place the order on January 26, 2025. To date, no refund have been received.

Watch out people. Sam's Club is fraudulently renewing memberships of customers who have not signed up for Auto renewal. I have to call cooperate to have this reversed since the local Reynoldsburg location won't answer my phone calls. I reached out multiple times. Check your bank accounts/card statements for any unauthorized transactions from them!

I have great experiences with Sam's Club. They are innovative, well-stocked, quick and the best prices you can get. I deeply appreciate how they often under promise and over deliver, like ordering tires last week that they said would take 3-5 days, but then I got a call the next morning they were ready. I'm a huge fan of checking out with scan and go, with the speed and simplicity to get out of the store without lines. Great return policy too.

      To Whom It May Concern,
I'm extremely disappointed with the Sam’s Club in Morrow, Georgia. First, I was only in the store because I received an opened box of Apple Air pod Generation 4- I ordered online. I ordered the product on January 19, 2025, and received the product on January 29, 2025, after several attempts of delivery from FED-X. With that in mind, when I walked to the customer service desk, I told the sales agent that I bought the product online and the box was opened when it was delivered. He told me the product haven’t been used, and I stated that’s beside the point the box is opened. So, the sales agent provided a replacement. I put the item in my purse and proceeded to look at meats because I noticed I had approximately $14.00 in SAM"S cash to spend.
I wanted to purchase meat using the SAM'S cash, but Sam’s meat had too much fat on it, so I walked from different meats to see which had less fat to purchase. Meanwhile looking at the meats, I was followed and looked upon as though I was trying to steal meats from the store. ALL BLACK PEOPLE DON’T STEAL……and if I was looking suspicious you should’ve asked if I needed any help and I would've told you.
To make a long story short, I picked up some bananas and a bag of oranges and I was watched purchasing these items too. Then when I walked out of the store and ONLY had two items. The scanner scanned two items and then stated they want me to scan your Apple Air pods too. Oh, my goodness, so why was I being ethnic profiling? Did it have anything to do with me returning a product I ordered online, which was opened? Or due to the fact that I scrutinized your meats with a lot of fat and uncertain if I wanted to purchase it? This is not the first time I've heard of this happening to BLACK customers at the Morrow Sam's, and it needs to stop. As I stated ALL BLACK PEOPLE DON’ T STEAL!
Please address this issue and stop racial profiling. This was a horrible experience I encountered today and it needs to ceased.

I’ve been trying to contact this company for months via calls and emails with no response. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would not recommend doing business with a company that ignores its customers.

Sam's Club advertised a door buster on their website. After purchasing this item I was sent an email that my order was cancelled. They say it was out of stock, this was before the doorbuster item was being sold to the general public. I went back to the item and it was still listed for the doorbuster price. It was like this for 3 days. I called customer support and they were unable to tell me why the order was canceled as they were showing the item was available.

Sam's Club charges shipping charge for Plus Members unless you have $50. worth of purchases. Then is has taken as many as three deliveries to get four items to you and takes extras days. When you call customer service and stay on hold for 20 minutes which isn't bad as they state you are next in line and your wait time is 48 minutes. Then you get disconnected from the call when you ask about the shipment that was delivered wrong and the next shipment. This isn't the first time this has happened. Another order within the last two weeks was delayed then delayed till another date then was delivered and one box was open and order was left in snow without any plastic underneath boxes to protect the box or contents. Between rotted produce, difficult in store shopping, and terrible shipping standards - it's time to evaluate if the membership is worth it.
