I had the absolute worst experience at Sam's Club in Deptford NJ today. Yesterday I placed an online order to be picked up today of 12 items. I received notice that my order was ready for pickup. I arrive at Sam's about 2:10 and parked in one of the pickup parking spaces. I did not have the app on my phone so the door attendant who was very kind told me to call the customer service desk. I then called and the customer service representative said she would let the gentlemen who were bringing the items out to the cars that I was there. I wait for approximately 40 minutes, and no one came. I then sent a text that I was still waiting, and another 20 minutes went by. All the time I was waiting countless car that came in much later than I did received their packages within 10 to 15 minutes. So, I called back to the customer service and she said I let them know again. About another 20 minutes went by and out of frustration I went inside the store looking to speak with a manager. There were a few people ahead of me and it was taking a long time for me to be seen at the desk, so I called again. The representative told me to stay one the line while she physically went back to tell them that I was still waiting. They came out about 10 minutes later. The whole purpose of me pacing the order online was to save me time, but I literally could have shop there 5 TIMES for those items on my own in the amount of time I had to wait which was approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. This was truly unacceptable, and I wish I could give this review rating a "0". Never again!!!!

We experienced discrimination at Sam's Club based on our race, color, and origin. On December 8, 2024, I visited the Sam's Club in Park Meadows/Littleton, Colorado, to buy chocolates and Christmas gifts. My two-year-old daughter had been sick for a week and wasn't eating properly, but she was finally starting to recover. When she saw the chocolates we had picked out, she wanted one. As we were trying to open a packet to give her one before paying, a Sam's Club associate approached us and said, "This is called stealing in the United States. This is unacceptable in this country, even though it might be fine in your country." We explained that we were trying to comfort our crying baby, but he refused to understand our situation. We felt disappointed and distressed because we couldn't buy gifts for our family and friends in a timely manner due to this discrimination. We have already escalated the issue to the manager on duty and are awaiting their response.

My wife and I shop at sams club in chandler AZ at least twice a month. Today I went in only to purchsed 20 items $160 worth. Like clockwork we always use scan and go. While shopping I was approached by a sams club worker who encouraged the customers to use scan and go to ease the wait time considering it was really crowded today. I purchased my items and proceeded to leave the store, however, as I was leaving there were 4 customers with shopping carts with at least 60-70 items their carts were overflowing. I literally watched all 4 customers get waved through until they reached me. Now keep in mind I only have 20 items that were clearly seen!!! However, I was the only African American in line yet i was stopped and asked for my receipt. I pointed this out to the worker and she replied the computer told her too. As stood by the exit I observed 4 more carts that were full to the top that were waived through and when I pointed this out she had no response. This was a clear, concise and blatant action of racial profiling. I am behind disheartened by this clear action of racism by the employee of this business. I would like my renewal fee refunded which was made more than a week ago and I would take my $2500 worth of business elsewhere. 0 stars fir this location!!!!

Get unfair treatment at Sam's Club because we are immigrant who’s not native speaker.
We had a horrible experience shopping at this store on Wednesday 11/20/2024.
My husband and I went to buy the Samsung 70’’ Class Q60CD Series QLED Smat TV. The price is $1097.99 with $400 off, including a 5-year warranty at no additional cost. During the check out, the cashier made a mistake of charging the 5 year warranty at $139.99 twice, and only refunded us once (please see the photo of the receipt). We found out about this immediately after we finished paying. So my husband went to get a refund for the extra charge. We both thought it was going to be an easy process. To our surprise, the staff at the help desk, “Anthony”, told my husband that he can only refund us $70 dollars instead of the $139.99. His reason was because we bought the warranty at 50% discount, therefore he can only reimburse us half of the total amount. My husband tried to explain to him that it was supposed to be included with purchase of the TV with no additional cost, and the cashier made a mistake in the first place of overcharging us. However, he insisted on only paying us the $70. He not only got very impatient, but also started to accuse my husband being aggressive to him and another female staff (my husband was polite the entire time, all that they are saying was his voice was higher, and he was sweating. My husband gets warm easily, and he can’t control that). So, after approximately 20 minutes arguing, Anthony became very impatient and was implying that we are being unreasonable. We were very frustrated at that time. I tried to ask if there was anyone else can help us, but he said he is the manager and no one other than him will help us. I was thinking about calling the police because if he insists on only giving us back $70, this would become a fraud. So we lead him to the TV with the sign saying that 5 year warranty was included, and tried to do the calculation in front of him.

Found out the hard way you can't shop before 10am unless you "upgrade" to "Sam's Plus", for more money of course.. They don't tell you this until you get to checkout with a cart full of stuff.. Walked out and left the cart sitting there, and went over to Costco..

Not following price stated in their posted advertisement.
This company's online ad was not honored and I was still charged for a full membership fee. And very rudely I might add.
Maybe inform employees of special membership rates they advertise and I was overcharged and no one in the company had any idea of the price in the advertisement. When I couldnt get the online sale price, the clerk at customer service informed me it was a scam and charged me a full membership. I preceded to management and they were also not able to solve the issue.
See online attachment. I won't be back or renewing any membership that doesn't honor advertisements.
      Shame on Sam's!

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with customer service at my local Sam’s Club. I lost my class ring at the store and called the following morning to ask if it had been turned in. I was told no, which was fine, but I decided to call back later in the day in case someone had found it.
When I called the second time, someone answered and told me they would check. After that, I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes, only to be redirected to the bakery department without any explanation. The bakery staff were understandably confused and told me to contact Customer Service again.
When I called back a third time, the call was disconnected before I could speak with anyone. Frustrated but still hoping for an answer, I called one final time. Instead of receiving help, I was met with an extremely rude representative who yelled at me for calling multiple times. I tried to explain that I had been disconnected earlier and simply wanted to check again, but they continued to be dismissive and hostile, repeatedly yelling that they didn’t have the ring.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience, made worse by the lack of professionalism and courtesy. I understand that lost items aren’t always recovered, but a little kindness and understanding would have gone a long way.
I hope Sam’s Club can improve its customer service in the future.

I shop a Sam's since they opened and am there a few times a month. On Nov 7, I went to their fuel center to fill up, before shopping. When I got home that day, I was looking at my bank account online, I noticed my current Sam's gas and grocery purchase. In addition I noticed that Sam's had put a $75 hold on my account. I called my bank and they said it is set to expire on Nov 17.
I went to my Sams Club account online to voice my objection to this practice, but found that there is no way to do this.
I will not be buying gas from Sam's Club anymore. Costco would never do this.

Been a member since 1991. They have falsely stated I must pay shipping on my PLUS membership (min order of 50.00 and I always have more) and said I have made as many as 10 items at once in bulk purchases within 24 hours-I have never. I am 76 and do not make those. Got online chat said I had to drive to store an hour away, I did. Manager had me there an hour trying to correct. She was very nice thought it was fixed with corporate - was not. Tried to order today was going to charge 24.00 shipping on my 64.00 order so called a number, he said call back. Called 3 times, cut off each time. Went back online chat and passed to 2 other people who said they could not do anything. TERRIBLE customer service. I will not renew my membership or my grandchildren's when it comes due.
