I will be cancelling my membership after spending nearly $800.00 for 4 tires during a sale this weekend. Sam's Club tire and battery installed a tire incorrectly and left me stuck. My tire light came on not even a mile after leaving Sam's Club for the tire installation. They say they offer Roadside Assistance with the tire purchase, but after calling I was told I would have to pay a large part of the tow cost. They really need to advertise this as a "very limited" roadside assistance instead of false advertising roadside assistance. After many phone calls to "Roadside Assistance" and speaking to the many Sam's Club employees, not one person would help me. I spent the night in my car and paid to get it back home this morning. It now sits in my garage with 4 $800.00 new Goodyear tires from yesterday, but the driver's side front tire is completely flat. Sam's Club will not make me whole or help in any way. Just another big corporation that takes and takes from the people, can sell faulty products and face no repercussion. Now I have a vehicle I can no longer use. I talked to store managers and stupidvisors. I will let membership run out and never step foot in the store again. The Montrose location is horrible.

A order was placed online Sept 30, 2024 and shipping was to occur Monday, October 7, 2024. The order has remained in an "in progress" status. I spoke with a customer service representative (Chromewell) on October 10, 2024 who created an reference number for escalation.
October 17, 2024 spoke with a supervisor (Josflyn) who was unable to determine what the issue was. She indicated she would get back with me due to my pending unknown situation. This supervisor offered me a gift card for my troubles (she said an amount over the phone, but the gift card was for a different amount). As of today, October 30, 2024, I haven't heard anything back from Josflyn.
October 23, 2024 I called again and spoke with another supervisor (Janee) who seen that an ticket was created an to tech to see what the problem is for my paid order, but as of October 23rd no one has yet to answer the ticket inquiry. I was sent an email and was told to respond to that email for an update. I sent an email asking for the status, but no one has responded. Each supervisor instructed me that they would be in contact with me to sort out my issue of the missing item. Neither one has yet to live up to that promise or statement. As of today, October 30, 2024 I haven't heard back from the second supervisor Janaee nor an answer back from my email that she instructed me to respond to if I needed an update.
I am still missing a paid item that cost over $200.00 and no one can tell me why is hasn't been received one month later. The only suggestion I continue to get is to cancel the order and reorder. This was the fix the customer service rep, Chromewell, suggested on October 10th my first initial call. That is not customer service, but an easy fix for Sam's Club.

I have a plus membership with Sam’s Club for $110 annual fee for free shipping on eligible items. I live on a rural farm and buy solely online from Sam’s Club, Costco, Amazon and Walmart.com and pay a fee yearly for free shipping. Months ago, they made a change to a $50 minimum per order to receive free shipping. I am ok with that to cut cut down on shipping supplied and freight, I order weekly and store up my lists until I get to the $50 minimum for free shipping. A few days ago, I had a shipping charge of $18 added to my order and the explanation I received online was because I have 10 addresses in my online address book. I only use 2 of those addresses usually, so I deleted the others. I had previously ordered Christmas gifts last year for my relatives from Sam’s club, but with the $50 limit, I may not do that this year. I called 3 times to their customer service department, got hung up on first 2 times and she told me that I had been flagged and put on a list, because of my high volume spending as a seller of their products. I explained to her that I have rescued and feed 15 cats, so I order lots of cat food, cat litter. I also supplement my chickens with cooked Quaker Oats and rice regularly. I also help feed some hungry people in The area that rely on free food boxes or places with snacks and canned food. She said she would submit a letter to get me taken off list which will take 10 business days to get answer. They was no limit posted on the paper products and cat food that I was trying to order, and all items said free shipping for plus members spending at least $50. I do not sell any items, and for them to prejudge based on my spending habits is disheartening. I told representative on phone that I can work around the 10 day wait because I also have accounts with Amazon, Costco and Walmart. I am not only sad about this assumption about me, I am feeling discriminated against because I cook and bake a lot, We are retired and live/work on our farm.

I opened a membership last year and was up for renewal tomorrow. I decided to close my account instead of renewing it and received a text message from my local bank indicating an unknown merchant removed funds from my account.
I contact the SAMS CLUB over the phone, and was told my email address had been changed to an unknown address. I was told I needed to go to the store to permanently close my account. When I went to the store, I was able to see my account, and noticed my address was changed to an unknown address as the representative said.
The problem is I found out that SAM'S CLUB can keep your personal information after your account is closed, therefore it appears when I closed my membership account someone was able to keep it open and change my email.
      THE BOTTOM LINE:
"SAMS CLUB IS A SCAM, AND IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS TYPE OF SERVICE IT'S BEST TO USE A PREPAID CARD TO AVOID ANYONE HAVING YOUR PERSONAL BUSINESS AFTER YOU CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT."

Visted Sam’s Club in Waldorf, MD on 9/30/24. After my pickup time had ended, I walked over to the pickup door to check if they are running behind. One worker  kept zipping past me, and another customer ignoring we were there. Another worker, (pickup order manager) also ignoring a now crowd of customers. Asked the first guy, “Excuse me, are you guys running behind?” He yelled” Yes, we are behind! We are always behind!” Very rude. I asked the lady hoping to get a better response, and to see how behind they were. She yelled “We just starting the 5pm orders! It was now 7:15pm. She was very rude and acted like it was the customer’s fault. A lady stated her order was ready, but waited an hour. I didn’t want to wait 2 hrs. for my order. I politely asked could I pull my order instead. The manager said to go into the store. I entered, worker  from the pickup area was near. Didn’t want to be charged twice. I asked about the process to cancel the order. There is no cancel button in the app. He stated, “You can just get your items, checkout, and we will cancel.” He never asked my name, club number, phone number, nothing. So how would he know which order to cancel. He stated “the computer knows.” Fearing I would get charged twice, I asked another worker for another store manager. This manager listened to me without being rude. He stated I can my items and would let the pickup manager know. I shopped my items. Finished shopping and 2nd pick up guy stated, “I just pulled your items!” with a smirk. If he was going to fulfill my order, why not tell me. Also, how would he pull my order, when again he has no idea who I am and what my order was. At no point did any of the customers yell or get angry at the workers. The attitude from the workers was uncalled for. I described the workers in this review as no one had badges and did not give names.

I am disgusted with Sam's club tire department for refusing to cover a tire which under warranty because the tire people say that the tire has a cut on the wall and it my be due to vandalism. Why would one tire be vandalised . THe car is driven by my daughter with 2 children on the back seat. She is a careful driver . Something on the road must have hit the tire to cause the damage. The mgr. of the tire dept in Laurel refused to accept the fact that the damage could have been on the road during drive.
I suggest no one should buy tires at the Sams club in Laurel MD. I never had issue at Costco tire
