I have always paid my bill on time or be ahead of time. I did not receive service in February. I contacted them. Got a hold of the operations manager that was local. He got the problem fixed. I got a bill again in March. I paid it and haven't gotten The regular service of trash pickup once a week that I paid for. I contacted the local operations manager as I had his cell phone. He proceeded to tell me he was sorry but he no longer worked for the company. I told him I appreciate him answering the phone and letting me know so I didn't keep bothering him. I have contacted cards multiple times, day in and day out to get them to pick up my trash. I have been told I'm on high priority and they'll have my trash picked up tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes and still no trash picked up. I am losing money left and right as I've got trash piled up. We live in the country which is attracting critters. I am losing chickens left and right due to this it's $20 for every chicken I've lost and I've lost 15 now. I talked to *******, the VP of marketing and she told me the same thing that I'm on a high priority and they'll pick my trash up. She told me today that I could cancel my service. She would not charge me the $70 cancellation fee but I would not get my money back and they would pick up my dumpster. I asked her how can she pick up my dumpster if they can't even pick up my trash. She had no answer for me and proceeded to tell me that she would put in another work request to get my trash picked up. I feel like I'm going around and around in circles with them. They're not willing to help me. They're not willing to give me my money back and they're not giving me the service that I paid for. I need some help. I don't know what to do and my whole yard stinks from all the trash.Business Response

We have Paid this business monthly for trash service and they have yet to pick up trash. It's been 3 months! We have two accounts with this company. They say we can't cancel because of a 3 year contract. That is insane! They have every excuse as to why they won't pick up. We have even paid for an extra pick up. They told us the dumpster was too far down the road on our business account so we moved it to the end of the road and have yet to have service. I call atleast once a week and nothing has been resolved. They won't issue refunds or credits. We accutally had a dumpster at the business location for 6 mths that they told us they never brought. WE just want our trash picked up! We pay almost $200 a month for nothing. We also feel like we are stuck with them and they have bought every trash company around us. They need to take actions for their terrible service.

I am rejecting this response because: I have yet to get RESPONSE FROM A TEAM MEMBER BESIDES THEY REFUSE TO GET THE DUMPSTERS AND THST WAS THREE WEEKS AGO. IT WASN'T THEM REACHING OUT FROM THIS EITHER IT WAS ME CONTACTING THEM TO PICK UP TRASH. SO UNTIL THEY PICK UP THE DUMPSTERS WITHOUT IT AFFECTING TYLER'S CREDIT OR HIM HAVING TO PAY FOR THEIR TERRIBLE SERVICE WE DO NOT ACCEPT.

Cards bought out a local company that handled my trash service and did an excellent job. Since Cards took over, I have had 2-3 missed pick up days per month. I was always forced to call and then put on "endless" hold and all they could do was send an email to the local dispatch. There was absolutely no follow up, and the trash was never picked up when they said it was going to be picked up. This forced us to leave our trash out almost daily to "hope" it would get picked up. Cards should be refunding all their customers whose trash they have missed consistently. When asked if they were having route problems and if I needed to change my service, they always told me "no we are working on this issue to get it resolved". That also seems to be the standard response to these BBB Complaints. I am not a complainer, and have never written bad reviews before now. I am hopeful that perhaps Cards can change their executive management and/or local operational process to remedy this for their future customers. I will never use them again and I would like a full refund of the quarterly charge of $90.00Business Response

I had wkly trash services with **** They were bought out by CARDS in September of 2023. I never signed a contract with them. I immediately went online and created an account, set up auto pay on 9/22/23 as their mailer recommended. Then I received a late fee for non payment. I called and they verified it was set up on auto-pay, and I should not have received a late fee. They were unable to reimburse me, and instead credited my account. Throughout November and December the weekly trash pickup got to be several days late, then there were weeks when it never came at all. At one point, my trash was not picked up for 2.5 weeks. I understand holiday and weather delays, however they would just skip the whole week. Finally in January I had enough and contacted the business on 1/17/24 to cancel my service, as trash had not been picked up in weeks. I was required to pay a $25.00 fee in order for them to remove my trash can, even though I did not sign a contract and was never told there would be a removal fee. I was so fed up with this company and just wanted to be done with them, that I paid the fee, $26.56 including taxes. I was advised my service was cancelled and they would pick up the trash can. I was charged $29.75 again on 1/22/24 without consent. I called on 2/2 and spoke to ******* I was told he would take care of the unauthorized charge. I called again on 2/13 because the issue still had not been corrected and spoke to *********, she advised she would forward me to a manager and I never heard back. I have continued to receive invoices for non payment, saying I still owed. I called on 5/2 and spoke with *******. ******* advised I should not have received an invoice, I did not owe anything and he was making adjustments. ******* assured me my account balance was $0. 6/1 I received another invoice with additional late fees saying I still owed. I called again on 6/11 and spoke to ******* she advised i should not have a bill. I requested again to speak with a manager.Business Response

My trash company was bought out by cards. The cost to pick up my trash went from $18-$34 per month. In order to not pay an additional $5 per month for service that is already ridiculously overpriced, I had to link my bank account. Now that they have my account, they take whatever they want to without notification or permission. Yesterday I got an email for my monthly statement and it said they were charging for 3 months instead of 1. I tried to call, but of course it is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. I was finally able to talk to someone today and found out that even though the bill isn’t due until June 28, they already stole the money from my account. She was going to patch me through to a manager, but somehow sent me to the voicemail of an unrelated person. This is dirty, disgusting behavior. They need to be shut down for stealing from people. I told her to cancel my service but she said I can’t cancel or get my money back.Business Response

Thank you for sharing your concerns. When we acquired your account, the monthly rate was set at $34/month. As part of our billing process, when signing up for autopay, we draft payments when the bills are generated. We assure you that no unauthorized transactions are made.

Cards Recycling purchased Ideal Refuse and since they have been purchased the billing has been awful. My account is on Automatic Transfer with them. When they first took over they would not pull a payment for several months then pull several months at a time. In April of this year they pulled 2 payments of $21.42 each. One on 04/03/2024 & the other on 04/12/2024. Today they are pulling $64.26 from my account. I called the Hays, KS office and was told that in April that they pulled the payment for May. Then why did they pull a payment of $21.42 on 05/13/2024. They told me that they are not billing quarterly. I have received no notice of the billing changes. Since 03/12/2024 they have pulled $149.94 from my account. The total charges for this time period should only be $85.68. The Hays office gave me a number to their corporate office to call as they say they can't do anything. I have called 5 different times over a 4 hour period and nobody is answering the phone. I have emailed with no response. I want my money refunded and I want to cancel their service immediately. I have talked to so many people that are having the exact some problems with billing as I am. Our local trash company was bought out by Cards recycling. We were never notified of this, gave cards a chance and it was a horrific experience. We cancelled our service at the end of April 2024. After cancelling our service cards sent a bill for 75 dollars for dumpster pick up. I attempted to dispute the charge and called customer service. I asked numerous times to speak with the call center supervisor, the billing supervisor, and the area manager. I was told in the case of all requests they did not have a phone number for the above mentioned individuals. On may second 2024 the day of my aforementioned call I sent an email to a representative, and to date I still haven’t received a reply. On June 11th I received another bill with a late fee assessed to the 75 dollars. Cards states I now owe them 95 dollars. I have no contract with them and received no documentation stating there was any sort of fees associated with them picking up their property. I have read countless other complaints and even found news stories related to their business practices. We need help in resolving this matter.Business Response

Cards Recycling is horrible. I pay for residential trash pickup but my garbage has not been picked up since May 24th. I had ******** ***** ******* for many years and never had any issues. Ever since Cards bought them it has been nothing but trouble. I will be shopping around for a new company. If you have a choice I recommend you DO NOT use Cards Recycling.Business Response

Company bought out a local trash service at the beginning of Jan 2024. Service must be prepaid. Prepaid for Jan-Mar. Company failed to pickup trash on 2 occasions during that quarter. I called and they stated that they were working some kinks out of recent purchase and assured me that they would have the issues resolved. They auto-billed me for April-June service on 3/8. Company missed pickup on 4 occasions in April and May, and just missed pickup on 6/6. Each time when I call, they always state that they'll have someone out that day, but that never happens.
I have paid for a service that the company is not delivering on as the company refused to offer any refunds or compensation for continued missed pickups.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:You failed to adhere to the service agreement that was in place which stated that trash would be picked up weekly with the exception being inclement weather. Missed pickups due to staffing and equipment issues as you report , fall outside of the agreement and need be be compensated accordingly.
