      CARDS, Recycling has been awful to work with.
      They purchased our local trash company and absorbed the existing customers (me). Over the past several months we have had many issue with trash carts and dumpsters not getting picked up.
      In the last two weeks we have one location that has not been picked up at all and we pay for weekly service. I have personally called over 7 times to the company to get this issue resolved and I am still not getting someone to follow through with the pick up process. This is to the point that the neighbors and city are upset and for good reason. I am working to switch companies but I would like a refund for the recent month of trash considering it wasn't picked up. I would also like them to at least come pick up the trash. I will be switching companies but it is a process.

      I paid Cards trash service $95 on April 12,2024 to start trash pick up for May and June. Trash was to be picked up every Thursday starting May 2. Trash was not picked up. I called on May 3 to complain to be told it would take up to 24-48 hours to get someone out to pick up my trash. So for three Thursdays in a row my trash was never picked up. I called and called and emailed and got nowhere. Lady did tell me that she talked to her manager to see if I could get a refund. I did cancel cards trash service on May 20,2024. I called on June 3, 2024 to be told my refund was denied. I paid for a service that I never ever received. I did call my bank to cancel the auto draft so cards can not take any more money from me.
      If you look on ******** about cards customers and you will see so many complaints. I wish I had done that first and wouldn’t be out $95. I hope that you can help me. Thank you *** **********

      I feel like I should have already received my refund check for $95. Cards should not be dragging their feet. Like I have stated I paid for a service I did not receive nor did I sign any contract.

      In the last several months, Cards Recycling has purchased several small trash hauling companies in the state of Missouri. We had service with one of the companies that was purchased. For over 15 years, we hardly ever had a problem. The problem is that we prepay our service for a year at a time and since cards has taken over we cannot seem to get our trash picked up. It has now been 5 weeks since they came and picked up our trash. At first they said it was a problem with knowing where our address was, then last week that was supposedly fixed. However, despite repeated assurances and multiple calls to the call center our trash has not been picked up. There is a supervisor *****, who is the only manager that you are able to contact, he often does not answer his cell phone. I've tried calling repeatedly and no one will fix this problem. We would like our trash picked up today and every Tuesday without having to call.
      We have several neighbors that are also experiencing the same problems, having their trash picked up every once in awhile but not on a weekly basis. This company refuses to provide a refund so you can't just quit their service and choose a different service.

      I have paid CARDS Waste in full for 2024. They are not picking up my household trash & will not answer their phone. I've tried to email to cancel & get a refund & it seems they have disabled that option. Everyone within a 20 mile area around me are dealing with this problem. We all have a months worth of trash still sitting in our driveway.

      They are supposed to come once a week and they are not. They took over in Jan 2024 and have missed at 4 pickups so far.

      It has been a couple weeks that this company has not picked up my trash. I have not been able to reach anyone at the company. I have been unable to cancel services because they won't answer the phone.

      Two years ago we dropped this company for lack of trash pickup. They would not pickup 3 of 4 weeks a month but still charge the full amount. They said they would send us $57 refund. Now they have ran off our new trash collection company who I just paid for a whole year. We refuse to use CARDS and want our money back. There are several FB groups complaining about their lack of service ALL AROUND THE AREA.

      Yet again, the services that I pay for are not being done. This is the 4th time my trash has not been picked up. This is a trend yet if I do t pay my bill they threaten collections, why should I pay a bill that I’m not receiving the services for. It’s always “we are so sorry” yet nothing changes. I’ve tried calling and there is never an answer at the business.

      We have been paying Cards roughly $70 a month for a dumpster that they agreed to dump weekly. They have missed pick up date multiple times but now we are on a month without the service we were promised. I have contacted and talked to them multiple times and told my complaint was being escalated to a supervisor and they would be in contact. I have not been contacted and my dumpster has still not been dumped. This company seems to be doing this regularly to multiple people.

      I'm filing a report on behalf of my mother, who uses CARDS Waste Management for her residential trash pick-up in Pittsburg, Kansas. (her service address is **** ** ***** *** ********** ** ******.

      She paid $286.52 in February 2024 to cover 12 months of trash-pick up service, but CARDS stopped picking up her trash 3 weeks ago. She has called, and I have called, multiple times, and no one ever answers. I tried emailing and the email got returned to me. We've learned that this issue is being experienced by a number of residents in the Pittsburg, Kansas, area. I am attaching a link to a recent local Pittsburg news story covering the issue:

      We would like to cancel my mom's service and get a refund for the majority of the payment (since she paid for a year's worth of service in February and they stopped picking up in mid/late May), but since we can't reach anyone, we are turning to the BBB for assistance.

      If anything, we would like to see some sort of action taken against CARDS since it's affecting so many other residents in the Pittsburg area.
