We pay for trash services and the trash has not been picked up in 2 straight weeks. The trash is piling up on the side of the road. We have a baby and the diaper pale bags are just sitting out on the side of the road. I'm not sure when this becomes a health problem, but it is certainly unsanitary and going to lead to something worse if not addressed.Business Response

My previous trash company was sold to CARDS waste management. Since the switch happened, my trash has only been picked up on average every 3 to 4 weeks. I have called multiple times, just as my neighbors have. We have been told that work orders are in place and we will get a pickup within a few days. Then when they still dint come, call back and are told that the orders were marked completed. Or that must be a glitch. Or that a supervisor will call, and never does. They are specific about not issuing refunds on services they have charged for and not provided. "It's not their policy." On Tuesday of this week I canceled my service so I wouldn't be charged further. I am paid up through the end of June. Yet today, on scheduled trash day, still no pickup. 3rd week in a row this time. Local new sources are even running stories about the horrible service and how everyone's trash is all over the ground.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This response is generic. It is told to eveey customer that reaches out. You haven't done anything to compensate for picking up once a month for 3 months. Ensuring that my trash is picked up through June, now that I have canceled service. You have stolen my money. By not providing what I paid for. And your company refuses to refund what us customers are owed. If a customer didn't pay, ypu would suspend service. We'll I did pay, double 1st month actually. And yet the service you provided was not what was paid for. You owe hundreds, if not thousands of people money for the same reason. Saying "refunds are not in your policy" is bad business amd simply unacceptable.

The Card company bought our original trash service. They haven’t emptied our 2 yard dumpster in at least a month. When I called to find out why the claim I owe 500$. Our account is set to auto pay. So this charge makes no sense. They refuse to empty the dumpster, they refuse to come get the dumpster, they refuse to cancel my account. They are threatening to send the bill to collections. They literally don’t do anything and make up charges.Business Response

Our local trash service ******* sold out to Cards recycling. Since the official change over we have had nothing but trouble with our dumpster. I have allowed time for the changeover to be settled however, it’s only getting worse. Our billing was raised, they don’t show up until 2-3 days after our normal pick up day. Now, they haven’t shown up in 2 weeks. I have called the customer service line every day and get the standard it will be picked up in 24-48 hours. We are now 16 days out with no pick up. My bill is paid a month in advance due to their demands. Yet I can’t even get trash picked up. I demanded a supervisor and one is never available or returns my call. They refuse to refund my money, still haven’t picked up my trash. Now are telling me dispatch said they came Saturday. I have cameras all around my property and no truck even entered our area. Cards Recycling is a trash service. They just recently purchased a company called *** ********. Ever since Cards has taken over, they have not been picking up our trash, a service that we pay for. There have been tons of complaints on social media regarding the same company, with others having the same complaints. We're paying for a service that we're not receiving. When contacting the company they either don't answer the phone or if you are lucky enough to finally get through to customer service, they tell me that they have a "no refund policy." How can they charge me for a service that I'm not receiving and then not offer a refund?! They are scamming lots of people out of money for their "service" that they're not providing. Even their Google reviews are at a 1.2 stars.Business Response

We have not had our trash picked up in 2 wks. For other neighbors its been 4 wks. Several phone calls have been made to which the reply is the same, 'were running a day behind'. Cards took over an independent trash service who NEVER missed a week in the 6 yrs we used them. Cards seems to be a large company, so it baffles me that this is happening. If they took on more than they could chew by acquiring new routes, then changes need to occur. If discounts / credits are not applied to the next billing cycle, services will be cancelled.Business Response

Cards has not provided a single service, since I started with them. This has been two weeks in a row that they have not picked up trash. They have answered 1 out of my 3 calls, where I was met with a rude customer service representative who acted like I was wasting her time. She said a work order would be put in, which is a prepared response they give to everyone. No trash has been picked up regardless. The business will claim they have had some issues that they were working through, but they have since been resolved, which is a blanket lie. A company that is unable to service its influx of customers should a) stop buying out other companies and b) stop accepting new customers. I would like to cancel my service and receive a refund. Cards will claim that their company policy does not allow for refunds, in which case I will dispute the charge as I have never received the service they agreed to provide.Business Response

I was with another trash service which had gotten really expensive so I called Card's on April 23, 2024. They said that they could provide trash service for $100 less every 3 months so I signed up for them to collect my trash. They told me that my trash service would start on May 3, 2024. It would cost $25 to deliver the trash can and I would have to pay for 2 months in advance, which I paid that day. We were told that our trash would be picked up on Friday so we put the can out Thursday night. We left the can out for over 4 weeks and they never picked up our trash. I called several times and they assured me that they would send someone to pick it up but no one ever did. I even asked twice to talk to a supervisor and they told me that they would call. I am still waiting. I called on May 29, 2024 and canceled and told them that I wanted a refund. They told me that wasn’t their policy to give a refund even though I am paid up through June. I had to return to my other trash company at an expense of $107.07 to be reinstated on top of what I paid to Cards for no service. I am on a fixed income and this hurts older people a lot. But I have to have trash service and since they have purchased a lot of the other businesses I have to go with someone that provides trash service to us.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I paid for two months . My trash service was suppose to start on May 3, 2024. They never picked up my trash the whole month of May so I cancelled on May 30, 2024. It maybe there policy not to give a refund but it is my policy not to pay for a service that I never receive. An it is also my policy that when I cancel that means that I should be entitled to get my money back. I don't understand that they can say that it is there policy but they don't do what they said that they would do.

Trash service is not picking up your at the set schedule day. Now, they are a week behind. When they are contacted they state that it has been picked up, but they will send someone to get it.
