      I have had many internet companies over the years and i HAD to get this one when i moved to OK as the choice was them or ATT and at this point i rather have ATT. This is the worst company i have ever dealt with. At this point as a twitch stream they owe me money. ************* is such garbage my messages take minutes to send or don't send at all. They told me its a main line and refuse to fix it. Do not get internet from this company!

      Sparklight is a terrible internet service!! I only signed up for this service because it is the only internet in the Hempstead, ** area strong enough for gaming and for me to be able to work from home. We had no issues with the internet the first two months, afterwards our internet went to s*** I contacted them informing them and they said they would send someone out today to take a look. My boyfriend had to take a day off so they could. Today, we are informed that they will be coming Thursday! I am paying double the price I was for **** when I lived in ****, ** and this service is 10x worse! We now need to see if they can have someone to take a look on Friday as my boyfriend cannot take another day off since he hardly has any vacation days as is. They just cost him almost 3 months worth of the internet bill due to their f*** up!

      Literally down over half the time, if you can find any other provider in your area go for it, the way they lie about speeds and don't provide the services they advertise should be illegal

      I have had this cable service since it was CMA It has steady decline to where they were offering a Fire stick for tv. But since then my Internet has been down more then up! And the price keeps going up. ************* speed have a monopoly here. We need a Internet that is affordable and reliable. Please help us to be able to pick a provider Thank You

      If I had written this review back in June, I would have given it four stars. Their internet service was always reliable and fast. So, what happened? Good question! I'd like to know myself.Ever since roughly early July, **************** in north ***** has been horrible. It drops the connection at least once per hour, and it is far worse in the evenings, sometimes bumping you off the internet at least three times per hour! Working from home has become impossible due to the unreliable connections, and the whole experience has been frustrating. Something must have happened to their equipment back in July that still needs fixing. However, like most internet companies, they categorically deny the issue and say it's never "Their" equipment, or anything on their end. They always blame the user's computer or modem, even though, funny enough, everyone in this part of town suddenly all has problems with their computers or modems all at once (what are the odds of that?)So, either they fix the problems with connectivity, which seem to be getting worse by the day, or I'm switching to Century Link. C-link may be slower, but at least it's somewhat reliable! I hate leaving negative reviews, but I'm not even sure I'll be able to leave this one- because by the time I hit the "submit" button- the internet connection may have already gone down again!

      ******** Communications, AKA Sparklight, was the only internet service provider in our town for a long time. They have fiber lines up to the drop to our house and have been working on continuing the fiber to inside the home. This has been drug out a very long time. Currently the everyday rate for ********'s 1 GB is *****! I have had several service tickets trying to locate the issue causing me to drop service multiple times a day everyday and they always fix something and the issue continues. When you don't have competition, you can pretty much get away with a lot. Well now our town is getting **** fiber installed throughout. They are installing the fiber all the way into the house and their rate is way cheaper. ****'s everyday rate is $80 for 1 GB. This isn't even the reason I decided to file a complaint. I am filing the complaint today because I called to cancel my service and almost got charged additional days for service that I wouldn't even use. ****** seemed nice as she processed my cancelation and if I didn't pay close attention to what she was saying, I would've have missed that she wasn't cancelling my service today. She was simply starting a ticket that would be completed once I came to the local office to drop off ********'s modem to avoid a charge. I said no, I'd like it canceled effective today and I will drop off the device as soon as I can. ****** continues on that the company "prefers" I drop off the device and cancel at the same time so they are sure they get the device back. I then asked her if this was in my agreement with them and she said yes. This is a lie. The website shows their policy advertised that I must return the device before the next billing cycle to avoid a charge. She ended up canceling my service but what if I didn't pay attention or push. I imagine she must get commission for keeping people on and cancellations look bad for her numbers. Well unnecessary charges look bad for my numbers Ms. ******* Good bye *********

      Have used sparklight for a few years now, have have rare great cases with them and much more often issues and poor communication. Inconsistent speeds, but consistent issues arise from both homes Ive used Sparklight. The prices are much higher compared to other providers, but its just unfortunate that the company takes advantage of the a smaller, rural town keeping the prices as high as they are when there are no other option with anything above 200MBs. Despite this price, every single month there seems to be randomly disconnects that come and go and when an issues persists for awhile their attempts at patching it only lasts so long. Ironically, the last few calls also have internet issues and blatantly tell me while they speak to me. I would never recommend this to anyone. (Also, I have left other reviews and theyve attempted to contact me with a comment but failed and the time they did, failed to provide.)

      Sparklight is horrible! Overcharging for sporadic service. Service reps say you have to contact Amazon about the fire sticks. I dont pay Amazon I pay Sparklight!!! They dont deserve any stars !
