      Total scam. I couldnt drive over the pass due to inclement weather. Snow fall, causing avalanche and cars stuck for hours on the pass. I showed them the proof of that from trip check and they stated: "" Severe weather conditions which result in your inability to attend the event. You must be unable to reach the event by car or travel carrier. This does not include weather such as heavy snowfall with roads open, ice on roads, or abnormally heavy rain, unless the intervention of authorities is involved. If the event is cancelled due to weather, you will not qualify for coverage under this peril." What is the purpose of this company? It's a total joke. Don't be fooled. For this peril supporting documentation would include Published or posted proof of road closures or intervention of authorities which would prevent the You from reaching the event by car or Travel Carrier on the date of the event.

      This company is a scam. The requested information for insurance was submitted a boarding pass for departure flight, the itinerary for the return on the 8th, and an email from my supervisor. The company first replied denied because no evidence of March 7th flight. I resend the boarding pass. They reply the flight departed need proof from employer, I resend this info and now no response! I'm guessing they assume people won't follow up or provide the needed documentation and when they do they will disappear. Buyer BEWARE. Fanshield Claim [clm_tN6mxNGs] Update

      Subject: Urgent Complaint Against Fanshield Insurance: Failure to Honor Weather-Related Coverage for Coconut Grove Arts Festival Policy I am writing to file a formal and urgent complaint against Fanshield Insurance regarding their blatant refusal to honor the terms of an insurance policy purchased for the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. This complaint stems from their egregious failure to provide the coverage promised in the face of adverse weather conditions.On Sunday, February 18, during the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, torrential rainfall forced the closure of the event for the day. To safeguard my investment, I had proactively purchased an insurance policy through Fanshield specifically tailored to mitigate financial risks associated with adverse weather. Shockingly, despite the festival's closure due to the inclement weather, Fanshield is obstinately denying my rightful refund.The insurance policy, at the time of purchase, unequivocally guaranteed coverage for weather-related disruptions, including rain. Therefore, I am utterly appalled and outraged by Fanshield's reprehensible conduct in arbitrarily disregarding their contractual obligations.Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this matter directly with Fanshield, their response has been dismissive and utterly unsatisfactory. As a consumer who entrusted Fanshield to provide adequate protection, I am profoundly disappointed and feel unjustly exploited by their unethical practices.I implore the Better Business Bureau and the ******* Attorney General to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take immediate and decisive action to hold Fanshield accountable for their reprehensible behavior. Additionally, I demand a full refund of the insurance premium paid for the Coconut Grove Arts Festival policy without further delay.This issue demands urgent attention, and I anticipate a swift and just resolution to rectify Fanshield's egregious misconduct.

      Made an error in booking a hotel. Contacted them immediately. Tricky to navigate and they tell me I cannot get a refund for something two months away that said I could cancel. Not understanding why I am to still be charged. This is not right. Feels like a confusing scam.

      This insurance is essentially a scam!! I purchased seven tickets to an event. Three of the attendees couldn't attend as the roads would be ice and snow covered on their 113 mile travel home. They would have had to travel through Franconia Notch in ** which is treacherous during these weather conditions. Although there were no road closures I did send supporting documentation of weather conditions and snow totals. I would give "zero" stars if that were an option!

      BUYER BEWARE. Refunds for events will not be provided for severe weather unless roads are officially closed, making it physically impossible to reach an event. Severe weather such as a winter storm where authorities are citing "dangerous driving conditions" and making comments like "do not drive unless you have to" are not sufficient to provide a refund.

      I would give no stars but had to leave at least one.. ************ is a scam! Do not reserve any hotel room with their name or terms.. they DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS and charge half room rates as fees. My company would not pay their fees so came out of my pocket for reserving room and not seeing this. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!

      We have always purchased FanShield insurance when we purchase tickets, as I suffer from debilitating 6-8 day long migraines with aura, & NEVER know when I will be getting one. These migraines are so horrific, that I am forced to lay perfectly still in bed, in the dark, with cold rags to help with the excruciating pain for the entire duration. For the record, I am currently under the care of a neurologist for these migraines. Unfortunately, being the honest & trusting people we are, we actually believed FanShield was a reputable company & if I did get a migraine the same time as a concert, we would be reimbursed. Big mistake, as the very first time we filed a claim, we learned the hard way about their scam.We had tickets to a concert on 12/29/23. On 12/22/23 I got a migraine that was SO horrific that I needed to be rushed to the ******************** on 12/23/23 for treatment. This migraine continued through to 12/30/23.On 12/29/23, my husband filed our claim with FanShield. He submitted chart notes from my 12/14/23 neurologist appointment that documented the CURRENT treatments I was under. He also sent the chart notes from the ******************** describing what treatments they tried. But much to our shock & disappointment, that was not enough for FanShield to issue a reimbursement.Nope, even though I definitely had a serious illness that I was literally & currently being treated for, FanShield stated that the only way they would have reimbursed us was if I was advised in writing by a physician not to attend the event. Omgosh, for anyone that isnt familiar with migraines with aura, my symptoms include flashes of light, blind spots, nausea, pain, vomiting, dizziness, brain fog, incredible sensitivity to any kind of sound! How could I have possibly gotten to a physicians office "to be advised not to attend a concert" in the condition I was in.In closing, never ever purchase FanShield, I believe they have a way out of paying anyone.
