  Their attempts to sell you a warranty begin with threatening mailings that the warranty you have "may be" expiring and gives a lender's name. The fine print at the bottom of the letter says, "Not all consumers have previous coverage. We are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder. " DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE THREATENING VERBAGE IN THE LETTER to call. It's a scam!

  I have canceled my service with home warranty solutions over a year ago and I have been waiting patiently for my refund and I keep getting the run around saying its pending and waiting for a check to be released. You cant speaks to anyone other then the customer service team. No managers or supervisors and no corporate representatives. This isnt right for this company to treat people like this and get away with it. Im very unhappy and will never use there services again! I just want my refund.

  Total SCAM and they talk to you like you are an idiot. I called to get our address removed from their mailing list and the man on the other end was so condescending. Told him we didn't want or need their "bogus policy" nor was I an idiot as he tried to defend his stand and explain to me how important it was to have their protection. At that point I advised him that I worked in the Insurance Industry for many years and thus had all the coverage we needed on our home. Needless to say, I hung up on him after advising him they are a total scam, requested to be permanently removed from their mailing lists as it was a was of postal employees time and that trees are being wasted for their junk mail. I then hung up as he was still trying to make a sale.

  Dont even try to sign up for their services, they are such a scam I received a letter from them indicating they were a division from my mortgage company. But after I got confirmation they were not connected, I canceled. The paper they sent just says Home Warranty. . I canceled my services with them a month ago and they have not refunded me yet. Each time I call, they keep promising that they will refund me within 14 days but they still havent. Do not try it. They do not disclose the company name. Do not try to sign up.**************

  Such a scam -- they don't even put their company name on the fake check or envelope of the mass mailing they sent **. How is that legal? Why does the US ************** allow companies to send scam mail without identifying who the sender actually is?The only way I was able to find out it was sent from Home Warranty Solutions was by Googling their phone number. A waste of my time and energy.

  They are some sort of borderline legal scam. The paper seemed to indicate they were a division from my mortgage company. But after I got confirmation they were not connected, I canceled. The paper they sent just says Home Warranty. But then you call them they say they are Home Warranty Solutions. When I cancelled and requested my money back they then tried to say that they were a completely separate business, Omega Home Warranty. Omega has a higher BBB ranking. I insisted with declining and now they are delaying returning my 100 dollar deposit.Its been 48hours and in the time I have called twice because my money has not been returned. The ********* tried to rush me off the phone even though I had my bank representative on the line confirming they had not reversed the transaction. She was talking about it will take 3-5 business days...and then refused to transfer me to a supervisor when I kept requesting it. They were mysteriously all in a meeting, and she would not confirm a requested direct call back to gt my money returned.

  Total scam. They sent a letter never identifying the company name, calling themselves a "division" and listing the bank with which I have a home equity loan. The letter suggested that the warranty was something I needed to complete for the loan. This business should be criminally prosecuted.(The BBB requires a star rating to post a review, which is the only reason I gave this company one star. If I could post with negative stars, I'd do so.)
