      I have been a customer with ******************** at my same address for over 2 years now. On Tuesday, 2/04/2025, I put my garbage bin out for regular pick up service to be collected the next day, Wednesday 2/05/2025. When I went to go collect my bin from the curb that day, it was no longer there. When I logged in to my online account to see if I could find a reason for my bin being removed, I discovered that my account had been cancelled. I did not ask for this cancellation, nor did I receive notice that it had been cancelled. When I called Republic the next day, Thursday 2/6/2025, I was informed that my account had been cancelled due to an error, as there are 2 houses on the property I live on, and new tenants had just moved into the other house, and when they called to set up their account, mine was cancelled. I was then informed that a new garbage bin would be dropped off on Wednesday 2/12/2025. That day came and the bin was not dropped off. called again on Thursday, 2/13/2025 and was informed that they did see that that had not been completed and they would try to have it out in the next few days. Due to weather and the holiday I gave them some ****** but I still did not have a bin by EOD Tuesday, 2/18/2025. I called again on Wednesday, 2/19/2025 and was informed that they showed it was delivered on 2/17/2025, but I do not have the bin and the *** couldn't find any further proof other than the note, so she said that she would escalate it and I would hear back from someone. By EOD Wednesday, 2/19/2025, I still do not have a garbage bin, and I have garbage piling up all due to an error on the company's end. I just want my garbage bin to be delivered as promised.

      My trash and recycling have been sitting out for weeks untouched. I had to call someone several times just to get my trash picked up, and these people blatantly ignored my recycling bin???!!!! It is still sitting out, untouched. I am wondering why I am being charged a service fee when the service I am paying for isnt be fulfilled. If you do not want to pick up my trash then give me my money back. This is a city service so I will also be filing complaints against RS with the City of *****

      March 3, 2025: Hold times to customer service are excessive. Over 33 minutes hold at 877 phone number provided on website, and 21 minutes on second call to same number. Chat bot unhelpful. Phone calls to other customer service numbers routed to same unresponsive 877 number. My email to email address provided by Republic Waste Services unanswered. All I was trying to do was to temporarily rent an extra (second) waste cart. Republic Waste Services' callous disregard for the time and convenience of their paying customers should be criminal. They are quite eager to waste my time. I equally fault the civil authorities where I live (in *********) for contracting with this substandard and poorly managed, poorly operated, incompetantly led company. I plan to hold the civil authorities of *********/************ accountable for contracting with Republic Waste Services.

      I have requested multiple times to end my service and have been told repeatedly that I can't cancel my contract until it ends. the company "auto re-newed" my contract again. I don't want to be a customer, I don't need their ******************** and they have lied to me repeatedly about everything.       I was charge a extra trash cycle $43.00. They have internet service that doesn&#**;t work. They have taken $43.00 out of my account twice. I would like the extra $43.00 credit to my account and refund $43.00 back to me.

      We bill residents on a quarterly cycle. Based upon our data we billed on 12.25.23 for the time period of 12.01.23 to 02.29.24 for $44.28 and received $44.28 on 04.04.24  Bills are due 20 days from Invoice date.

      We do not show any double ******** or extra payments received.  As such there is no justification for any refund back to customer.  We will reach out to customer to reconcile our records to what they are seeing on their part.

      The trash pickup service took my trash can without cause even though I had paid for the service.

      For the past one year, our company has been billed for someone else's overage ********** least 5 times. Every time I call, they produce these pictures and I need to tell them these are not our bins. But today, when I call their number the person insisted it is ours based on the ****** map. ****** map was showing the back of our building which is of course another business. Street view would have shown the picture of our office with street number 1811. ( I attached the picture for your reference)This is absolutely time wasting to deal with this company and yet the ********************** where our company is located handed over the business to Republic Services. I have no other choice to use Republic Services. Every month I dread to receive their invoices whether I would be billed wrong again. I really appreciate if BBB can assist with this ongoing issues.       Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. This morning supervisor from the location came and looked at the location of our bin and assured the bins on the pictures are not ours. The one thing surprised me is that the customer service **** never forwarded the issues to the location despite of their promises.

      From now on I will contact the local location whenever I have problems with the trash services. I will of course continue contacting their customer service for credit request. 

      I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

      Re ******************************* They are overcharging me to just pick up the extra can. Plus they took my can and it took me 2 weeks to get that back. There is no other trash company around here. I would like to get a refund of $35 that they are charging me to pick their can up.

      Republic Services bought 2 of the local waste service companies. The relationship with this new company has been frustrating and issue-ridden since the beginning. There were price increases and service changes without prior communication. **************** was practically nonexistent, 30-minute wait times to not even reach a person, and agents saying the issue was resolved but still having the same problem persist. Along with other issues I listed in the contract cancellation pdf I attached. Now that we are trying to separate from the company they are trying to make us pay over $1400 in fees.

      5 years ago our church signed a contract that automatically renews every 3 years. The contract states they have to notify us of rate increases. The payments are made automatically. The monthly charge has increased around 40% since the beginning of 2024 and we are never notified of the increases. We want to cancel this service, but are told it automatically renewed for a new 3 year contract in 2023. The prices they are charging are astronomical in comparison to the same or better services with a different company. We are told if we cancel the contract we will have to pay a fee of 6 months service fee which is currently at $580 per month. We want to cancel this contract with no penalties. They cannot simply charge whatever they want without any notification.
