      I have never signed an agreement with Republic Service, nor was I aware of any city and county agreements. It seems ridiculous that I was not able to have a say in my utility services as a first-time home buyer. Companies like Republic Service bullied and took advantage of me, trying to make me pay for services provided to this address for an entire 18 months before I purchased this property. They have an unfair monopoly within this city, and I am actively looking to join any class action lawsuit against their monopoly status. I had limitless options of people and places to work with while buying a home, but once I purchased, I no longer could choose who services my home.       Republic Services is our Trash Service through the City of *******. They only pick up bulk trash once a month on a certain week. Our week for my address was the week of 2/2 through 2/7. They showed up in our neighborhood on Tuesday 2/3. They collected bulk trash from all my neighbors but missed mine. So I called Republic Services that day and was told by ******* that someone would be out today to pick up bulk trash by 8 PM. No one came so I called the next day Wednesday and ******* said again they would come today by 6 PM. I called back that same day and spoke to a Shireen (unsure of the spelling) who said they would definitely be back by 6 PM, when I mentioned I didn't feel very confident she just hung up on me. Again they did not pick up our bulk trash nor try to contact me. Thursday I called City of ******* who referred me to *** ****** their liaison for Republic who said they would be out by 7 PM to pick up my bulk trash. Again they did not show up nor attempt to contact me. Friday I called *** ****** again and she said they would come by 7 PM. Then I got a message from *** saying their representative would come by to discuss how much it would cost to pick up my bulk trash! I called her back at 3:30 PM and advised there was only a patio umbrella, a chair mat and 8 pieces of shipping cardboard 3 foot long. There would typically be no charge for this. She asked had anyone called or come by and I said no. She again promised that someone would come to home by 7 PM. Guess what, no one came by nor attempted to contact me. Republic missed the bulk pick up, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, to mislead me for the rest of the week is not acceptable. I pay my bill and follow all their rules and shouldn't be treated this way.

      Republic was made aware of this situation this morning when the call was passed on from the customer to The City of *******. The customer was contacted, and recovery of the brush has been scheduled. The system had this as recovered on the 5th of February which was a human error as it was not. As a note we perform over ******* services a month within the city and this one unfortunately slipped through the cracks. 

      Recovery of the bulk was completed 2/10/2025. Also, this is not a business but an individual residence.

      BTW I did not enter this as a business address. Mistakes happened as I mentioned in my complaint and I get that. The driver Easton, who picked up my bulk trash this morning Monday, said that no one contacted him all last week. This after I called 4-5 times Tuesday through Friday and was hung up on by *******. I think its awful that I had to file a complaint to get Republic to come back to my house. It should and could have been handled better than this.

      I signed up for the Republic Recycle November 2023. Account # ************** .The pick up is scheduled bi weekly on Fridays. Since that time, there were 10 missed pick **** I report it and it will finally be picked up the following Tuesday. If I would not do that, the can would be sitting on the curb for 2 weeks. This is getting old. If Republic does not want to recycle, just let me know so I can save my money and not pay for a service I don't receive.

      Republic Services has been a very nice reliable garbage pickup service for the past year or so, but these past 3 weeks they have not picked up our trash. We have called multiple times and the truck doesn't show to pick it up. We had three weeks before current billing cycle that we should be comped for plus the 3 months of service prebilled as we will be finding a new service.

      We have contacted the customer and left a voicemail regarding their complaint. We expressed our apologies for the service issues and informed the customer that their account will be closed effective January 31, 2025, allowing us to process a refund for the last billing cycle, which covers service dates from February 1, 2025, to April 30, 2025. The credits for the account closure will be applied on the next billing date, approximately February 15th, at which point we will also request a refund for any payments made for services beyond January 31, 2025. The customer has already received a credit of $7.02 for the two weeks of missed service reported on January 31st, the date we were first notified of the issue. Additionally, the customer currently has two refuse carts on site, which I have arranged to be removed by next week. We will waive the removal fees due to the customers negative service experiences. We consider this matter resolved and closed.

      Republic Services has refused to cancel our contract despite multiple attempts. We called in July, 60 days before the contract renewal, and notified the operator of our intent to cancel. They assured us someone would return the call, but we never received a response. After multiple follow-ups, we were told the account manager, who is responsible for business accounts like ours (*****************************), would process the cancellation. However, the account manager never mailed the necessary form and eventually stopped responding to our calls and emails. Over the last year and a half, we've called over 50 times, yet our fees have increased by 150%, and we're still unable to cancel the contract. Despite expressing our inability to pay, they continue to redirect us to the account manager.

      Republic services charged for services not rendered. They failed to empty my trash container in over a month from January 1st on. They still charged. I contacted their customer service and was told that there is nothing they can do not even a bill credit. I called and cancelled my service since it was clear they weren't going to pickup. They were suppose to pickup the container on January 27th but also failed to do that. They said they want to charge me an additional ***** to pickup the container on top of the ***** they had already stole. I would like a full refund for January and them to pickup the Container at their expense for causing so much of an issue.

      We were having issues during the month of January with ************** in your area due to the unsafe Road Conditions due to the inclement weather. A credit was issued on your account for this on 01-23-2025 for the duration of the 15th-22nd in the amount of $16.52. You are being charged a container removal fee of $33.00 due to the account cancelation. We will work with our accounts department for a resolution for the fee. We will also have someone remove the container immediately.

      Approximately one month ago, I was watching out my window as the Republic Services driver emptied my PERSONAL trash can. It was the brand Brute (the gray and black ones that can be purchased from home improvement stores). I saw the driver take the entire trash can away with the trash. I went outside, spoke to him, and he said the trash can cracked when he emptied it. He assured me that he would call dispatch and have them replace it with an ADDITIONAL Republic Services trash container, which would arrive by the next pick up date. I have yet to receive my replacement can. I have called customer service multiple times and they have told me a replacement will come. Again, the driver broke my BRUTE brand trash can but said the company would replace it with an additional Republic services trash canmeaning I would now have 1 recycling container and 2 trash containers.the customer ******************** **** seem confused when I tell them this.

      My whole neighborhood was supposed to have trash pickup yesterday but because there was an inch of snow on the ground until 11am they didnt come. They are supposed to come the next day but told us theyll just come back next week. meanwhile my trash is overflowing and i r have nowhere to put this trash. they could easily come and get trash the next day but they tell us to wait a week while trash overflows into the street for 7 days. they do this every time there is a little snow and we get screwed for a week or more. if it snows next week guess what, theyll tell us to wait another week for pickup. this is horrible service and they are totally unresponsive to requests to pick up the trash.

      Hello, we are very sorry for the inconvenience but the communities safety is our number one priority. Schools in your area were closed with no bus transportation. If it is not safe for school buses to be on the road then it is not safe for us to be on roads. With schools closed in your area, children are now at home and not in a fenced in school area, which brings up another huge concern of children at home and possibly playing outside with slippery road conditions. We did run super markets, grocery stores, big box stores, etc. sticking to the main roads, highways, freeways, etc. but we did stay away from residential areas due to safety concerns.

      Acct ************** . I contacted to inquire what to do with extra trash because of missed pickup during the snow. I was told to place extra bags by the bin. It would be considered double pickup. Thursday. Only trash in the bin was picked up. Contacted again. *** said that they would the extra trash later that day. Before closing. I called and the *** told me that a Supervisor he/she told me that only trash in the bin would be picked up. That was the note on my acct. I did not speak with a Supervisor. We filed a complaint stating that we needed the extra picked up and that we did not speak to a Supervisor. I contacted the County they hold your contract. I was told to leave the trash out for next day pick up. No one picked up again. I still have an extra weeks worth of trash and no way you get rid of it. I am an old disabled veteran that is feed up with people not doing their job and being dishonest. Having a weeks worth of trash even at a residence is a health hazard. It should not take numerous calls and filing complaints to have my trash picked up. I would like to speak to Corporate and be contacted about arrangements to pick up my trash.
