The worst sanitation company ever. They missed my recycle, then 2 weeks later missed it again. I got a text they were coming the next day. Didn't come. I called, they said it would be the next day. No show. I got another text, coming the next day. No show. by now, it was a very windy day. So the wind took care of my recycle, its all over **********. And they didn't come, nor call. But I get charged by them, and citations from my HOA because my bin is out too many days. I would leave a no star review but this app won't let meRepublic Services Inc

I have been having issues with missed trash pickup since Jan 2024. Lately it is now going on the third week of missed pick **** multiple phone calls to complain, broken promises of having the issue escalated to a supervisor to look into. It never gets looked into and the service never improves. Paying for a fuel surcharge on my billing for trucks that never come to pick up trash. Nothing but apologies from the **** and promises of tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. They don't notify you by phone or email anymore to tell you service will be delayed or even changed to a different day even though they get my contact information on virtually every phone call. This is completely unacceptable. I feel sorry for their **** that try to help but the company does not back them up. I had one that was very helpful and polite but she is no longer there. Cancelled my service 2 days after paying for an entire quarter. They rounded up to the end of the month (from the *6th*) then charged me to pick up their cans- exactly as much as my refund for should have been for November and December (they told me I was SOL on the unused 3 weeks of October).Then they charged me $35.06 in November twice. Got one refunded immediately, then after arguing with Customer Disservice for an hour they grudgingly agreed to send me a paper check. In 4-6 ********* away. Do NOT do business with these thieves.Republic Services Inc

Abnormally high late fees of $35 for being late one time, that is more than credit cards, for doing a basic job. They think they own your garbage. They refused to collect even after paying the service because of the fees. I am getting a lawyer, because paying for fees and not receiving service is agains the law.Voice your complaints, do not pay for services you are not receivingRepublic Services Inc

Total rip off....I canceled my service the last of June because of a price increase. I am on a fixed income and the increase just didn't fit my budget. No trash was collected by them after that. They were to pick up the bin on July 5 but did not. They were also to pick it up at another time but did not. Talked with them again last week and was told to leave it out October 25th to be picked up. Again, a no show. They want me to pay $38.53 which is supposed to be a refurbish charge for the bin. I do not feel it is my responsibility to refurbish the bin. No letter went out after the takeover of *** to the customers informing them of *********************** charges, etc. Never has any trash service I have used in the past charged a pick up fee for the bin. I have been harassed by rude individuals and lied to numerous times. Don't ever use this company!!! You will regret it!!!Republic Services Inc

We have been a Republic Services customer for many years. They miss picking up the garbage, we have to stuff 2 weeks of garbage in the can. They say they will pickup the next day but dont come. We pay quarterly and never missed a payment.Republic Services Inc

Cost me a month of service I did not want when I cancelled my service and would be accused of being overdue with my payment. God know what this c*** will do to my credit rating. PRICE GOUGERS! my last quarterly bill was just under $190 for residential service, 1 can, 1 pick up per week. This quarter (Oct-Dec) my bill was $213. I called around to local companies for an estimate so I could switch to someone more cost effective. I received quotes anywhere from $57-$69 PER QUARTER. So logically, I switched. I called Republic to pay for October and cancel my services. The representative in sales said she could check for lower rates. She came back with $69 per quarter. $69?! Why wasn't I just being charged $69? They tried to defend themselves by saying "well you never called to see if it could be lowered." Why should I have to call?! If you can offer me $69, why weren't you just doing that?! I was livid talking to them. We've had service with them for 11 years. I don't even want to think about how much I could have saved this year knowing they were charging me so much more than what they could have charged me! In this economy, this could have helped my family immensely! If this isn't price gouging, I don't know what is. They should be embarrassed as a company. Loyalty means absolutely nothing. They have over ***** 1 star reviews on Consumer Affairs and only 30 5 stars.Republic Services Inc

Criminals. This company stole property that wasn't theirs ( my trash bins). They were rude to my wife and basically said good luck getting them back. Filing a police report and going after them for theft.Republic Services Inc
