      Republic services have been terrible in ************** for over a year. We pay for weekly trash and bi-weekly recycle on a quarterly basis. Recycle has been missed for past 6 weeks and trash has already been missed once this month. Last quarter services were missed many weeks as well and minimal credits were given. I've switched to *************** on 7/14 and Republic still insists on billing $40 for first two weeks of July. I've contacted Republic **************** and the *************** of *******

      I think Republic should smarten up!! Last week my trash sat out "cooking" in the heat because our very good driver was on vacation, and Republic is too cheap to send a replacement. They never notified us that it would not be picked up either. I spent almost 3 hours on the phone talking with employees who contradicted one another. I'm still waiting for a supervisor to call me back, but it's only been 10 days so maybe they're busy. :) WHEN I PAY FOR A WEEKLY SERVICE, I EXPECT THAT SERVICE TO BE PROVIDED WEEKLY OR A CREDIT TO BE AUTOMATICALLY ISSUED WHEN THAT SERVICE IS NOT PROVIDED!! It was like pulling teeth and a whole pile of BS from a number of people to get one! My quarterly **** was increased by almost $40, so I talked to everyone on my street to find out what their increase was. Not one person had an increase that high, not even the person 50 ft. from me. INSANE!! There are 3 other trash haulers on my street, and none **** the public with gas surcharges even close to what your company does to the thousands of customers Republic has, so I will no doubt take my business elsewhere when my 3 months are up. If I could, I would give Republic no stars as your company is horrible to deal with. I still haven't figured out why our driver even stays with you! Rest assured I will spread the word about Republic to anyone that asks as I've experienced first hand how bad this company is to its customers.**************

      I would rate them with negative stars if I could. Their service is horrible. So many missed pick **** Rates continuously get increased. **************** is horrible. They are a bunch of crooks! Please beware and dont use them! I just moved and cancelled my service and had already prepaid for a month. I did not get a credit back and they are charging $65 for them picking up their empty trash can.

      I have been a long term customer of ********************. And have no complaints about the service. A couple a months ago I got a letter in the mail saying rates would be going up due to increased gas prices, but didn't say how much. I called and got a no commitment estimate of $7 to $14 depending on the situation at the time of increase. Sounded reasonable to me so I didn't start shopping around for better price. Then on July 1st I got an email saying my $62 quarterly service was going up to $101 per quarter (a 63% increase). And that it was due on July 5th. 1 business day notice. On July 5th, I got my actual **** in the mail for $101. Due that day. On July 1st, I called and cancelled my service. During the call, to dissuade me from cancelling. They said they wanted a 30 day notice, which I refused to give, as they gave me 1 business day notice of the increase. I had trash and recycling with them. They wanted $30 each to pick up their 2 receptacles. I refused to pay and they said okay. But I had never agreed to the 30 day notice or the can pick up fee. Their price increase was way out of line, with poor notification and unethical business practices to try and retain customers. Hint to Republic Services: Reasonable price increases and ethical business practices. I love the new service I'm with because they don't do this sort of thing.

      Unethical billing policy. **** was originally $45/mo paid every 3 months but has recently increased to almost $60/mo paid every 3 months. There was no notice of **** increase, actually when I called I was told that according to the terms of service the **** WAS the notice.Switching as soon as I can to a different provider.

      Cancelled republic services because of bad service - For 3 years they charged me late payment fee - after waiting on phone for 1/2 or more each time every 3 months under auto payment - had to explain and argue each time about billing mistake got no where every time customer support ***** - finally cancelled service now they want to charge me $60 for container removal - another complete bogus charge because of there BAD SERVICE

      Just received a final **** from Republic in ***********, **.They charged for a month after I stopped service, thetpy charged for can pickup which was never stated in any agreement, they charged for fuel to pick up the can, they charged admin fees, and misc. bad charges.This company has proven to be untrustworthy to this customer!

      I am 100% and disgusted in the way they carry this business I have purchased a home and they were zoned to my area Ive had services for three weeks and no pick up yet Ive called almost every day with promises that I would have an immediate pick up that a supervisor would call me I talked to the higher manager at one point and she said she would call me back when she found out something never did and nobody has still picked up my trash I have three weeks of trash sitting outside Ive had my town talking about citing me for the trash being outside neighbors looking at me in disgust this is absolutely ridiculous I dont know where else to go to or who else to turn to but Im disgusted with this all I want is my trash removed from my house I should not be charged at all for this month it says that Im being charged and I havent even had one pick up yet at this point I just want them to pick up the trash and Ill change services if its going to be this hard for them to do the one job that they said they going to do. I need to be contacted as soon as possible and I need my trash picked up like last week they have promised and promised and promised and so many different people putting in work orders for them to pick up my trash something needs to be done they need to be paying attention to whos really out here running the business because theyre running it directly into the ground might as well take the business and put it on the landfills that they're putting the trash on! I hope this actually find someone that is up and ranking for this business and takes serious actions for their due diligence money and business is not easy to come by now in days and they are letting people in the ************** region run the business to shit!

      I dont want to even give them ONE star as they are the worst services. 9 weeks in a row they did not pick up my trash on the day scheduled and if you dont call, they dont pick up on another day. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get them to pick up the trash. Poor service. Poor customer care.

      I have been a customer of ******************** for years paying for my trash pickup. Just got my mew statement for the next quarter, the **** has doubled, from $39.00 to $76.19. The new invoice states trash fee went from $39.00 to $48.85 and now adding fuel recovery fee of $27.34 totaling $76.19. Is this legal? When I called the customer service person was not help full and kind of rude. Please can you help.Thank you: *******
