They miss picking up the garbage, we have to stuff 2 weeks of garbage in the can. They say they will pickup the next day but dont come. We pay quarterly and never missed a payment. This happens often so we called and canceled, they never credited our account for missed pickups. Because we didnt get the pickup on June 20 the new company did the pickup. Now they are saying we owe them $166.25. They said they would pickup are can and the previous owners can, we left them out for 2 weeks never came, called again never came, we are selling our house and cant have garbage cans in the front yard, they said they were coming again, we didnt trust they would, a guy came, would not ring the bell so we could give them to him and he left. They left a threatening message that they will take action against us if we dont pay. This is a terrible way to do business, they want your money but will not offer to deduct for no service when they dont pickup.Republic Services Inc

Republic Services frequently misses trash and recycle pickups. The previous company in my area never did until they were purchase by Republic Services. Contacted customer support and they refused to send someone out for the missed pickup. Terrible service and customer service. I suggest staying away from this company or switching if you have them. I'm looking for another trash service in my area now.Republic Services Inc

Wow! I just read some of the reviews for Republic Services. I feel a little better now that Im not the only one that they screwed over and Yes, this Company is truly a Trashy Company. They only want money, but no service. I have a vacation home in ********* for almost 7 years now and Im only here for 1-3 months a year, but every time Im here I would called them and asked them if I can have my home as seasonal so I dont have to pay regular price because Im not here all the time, but they would always say No. To make a long story short, they told me the only way that they can have my home as seasonal is for me to have my electricity turn off. Wow! They know thats not possible because I need electricity for my alarm, lights, sprinkler system, etc. So, Im paying them every months for no services. Yes, no service because whenever Im here I have to do a bite of cleaning up and sometimes I would have bulk items and every time I leave the bulk items out they would not pick them up for weeks. I would have to go to my online account to click on the missed pick up like almost everyday and called them 3-4 times just for them to finally pick them up. My trash cart is cracked so I go online to have it replace. Of course, they said to leave it outside on a certain date and they will replace it, but of course, they didnt, again and again and again.. so I just gave up and just keeping using the cracked one.. I am so sick and tired of this company, to say the least Im paying them almost every month for no service and still cant get any service, if that make any sense.. I wish somebody can give some tips or advices on how to deal with this company I have been trying for almost 7 years now and still have no luck with themRepublic Services Inc

Non consistent pick **** When a pick up was missed and was reported I was told they would pick up the next day which they did not. When I called again was told my pick up was scheduled after the weekend only 2 days ahead of next scheduled pick up. No wonder few people in my neighborhood have this service. Other charges are added to my bill every month but I'm sure they won't charge less when they missRepublic Services Inc

I have been a customer of ******************** for about a year when they purchased my account from ******** Sanitation in *********** **. I want to cancel my service with Republic and I was tolrd that there is a $37.00 charge to pick up my container. I don't feel that this is acceptable since I never signed a contract with Republic.I want Republic to remove this $37.00 from my account!Republic Services Inc

we are a food manufacturing plant, i have never seen services like this, the driver is marking us as he picked up when our dumpster is full, they are skipping pick *** and we have an overflow of trash at the loading dock and not being able to ship, it is so frustrating, usda inspected us and they wrote me up for the trash not being picked up. We called a hundred times, we went to complain at the *********, nothing is being done. We are paying for services we are not receiving and now i am afraid that the **** inspector will close us down until they come to pick up trash. I have trash since last week, one dumpster full and at least two more in the facility at the loading docks. who is running this s***** company, no wonder they have 1 start reviews .Republic Services Inc

I cannot get in touch with anyone in **************** to pick up my bins as I already canceled service. When I did get in touch with someone, they assured me they would be picked up that day, but they were not. **************** is always closed, yet I always call within the hours of operation.Republic Services Inc

I recently cancelled my service with Republic because they kept increasing my rates and were charging $200 more than another service in my area. When I called to cancel they offered to give me a lower rate to keep my business which was $130 less than what I was paying. If they could fix my rate why in the world are they charging me over $300. I cancelled before the billing cycle ended and they still charged me the full amount for my quarterly bill a week later. I called them after I saw the charge on my card and I was told they already had the refund in the system and I'd have it by 9/15. It's now 9/23 and still no refund. I just received another bill with a credit that was $85 less than my total bill. I called to find out why the credit was different and where my refund was. They stated they charged me $30 to pick up each bin and a fuel/recovery fee of $65 on top of that. Then they told me they would put in a "request for the credit to be mailed to me by check" and it would take 8-10 weeks for me to get the check. I don't understand how they can do business this way.Republic Services Inc

Constantly pushing my pickup a day back on the day of pickup. Missed large item pickup for a month straight. Two weeks in a row ignored one of my two cans, said they'd come back and never did. Then when I asked to cancel service, the next week I got a bill for weekly trash pick up in the name of the person I bought the house from 4 years ago. When I called they couldn't explain how a brand new account opened up for a person who doesn't live here, just that I should ignore it. I went to go remove my autopay because I no longer trust them, and their login is down. The popup indicates site maintenance from 9/5 as the issue; it's 9/10.Republic Services Inc
