I canceled my service because Republic Services became ridiculously expensive. They then charged me $55. to pickup their own container. (Their facility is only a couple of miles from me). Then charged me another $25. late charge. Republic Services now charge over double what other companies charge.Republic Services Inc

I was a ****** Disposal customer until GFL and ********************** brought them out. I recently called to cancel service and have them remove the dumpster from the property. They said it would cost me $130 to remove the dumpster. The following month they raised the price from $48 to $60. All i want is the dumpster removed without some frivolous charge that traps people.Republic Services Inc

Republic service is definitely a garbage company. They specialize in trash collection and trash reciprocation, they've figured out how to build a device that converts garbage to into their quality of service. My experience with this company so far has been frustrating and terrible. My city, ********, ******* has a contract with Republic services for trash collection, which I have to use both at home and for my business. Three weeks ago I contacted them to have my dumpster upgraded to a larger size, and it has been three weeks and I still have not received the dumpster, despite them originally telling me the dumpster would arrive in a week. I called and spoke with a representative about the issue and they said they would put in a high-priority ticket to get the issue resolved. I called again a couple of days ago, and they told me it is past the new scheduled delivery date and that it should've arrived by now. On top of all that, my trash service, which is supposed to be on Fridays, did not occur today, so now I'm stuck with a full dumpster, and nowhere else to put the next week's worth of garbage. I'm also fairly certain I'm being billed for the larger dumpster now as well. These issues have been incredibly frustrating. Whoever is running the operations for Republic Services in ******** is doing a terrible job. The customer service representatives have been friendly, and I'm assuming the issues I'm having are stemming from another department. Please Republic services address the service issues in ********, I would really appreciate having my larger dumpster so I can throw away my garbage without the plaza's management getting angry with me for having trash next to my dumpster.Republic Services Inc

Our business worked with this Company for years. In noticing the continual gradual increase in weekly dumpster service, I called around for comparison and found Republic to be over ****** per month more than competitor. When I called, they offered to reduce my rate but not enough to satisfy the bad taste in my mouth. I requested cancellation, and they advised me that I was required to give them a 30 day notice so I paid that month and scheduled dumpster to be picked up end of month. When dumpster not picked up on 8/28, I called and was advised I was under contract. That I has signed a contract in 2017 ( 7 yrs ago) and they automatically renewed every 3 years. They said they emailed me a new contract with lower rates and because I did not respond, the lower rates were not valid. While they forwarded the lower rate, they cannot provide back up where they emailed me the contract in the past 7 years. Excuse was a security breach and no backup information.Republic Services Inc

This company is extremely incompetent. I had a miss delivery and was promised for 5 straight days that my trashed would be picked up by 7PM.Well each day no pickup. The customer service is horrible and doesn't make any attempt to follow up or escalate your concerns. I advised anyone needing service to search elsewhere.Republic Services Inc

i have been with republic for sometime and when i signed up years ago the prices were cheap at first but when covid hit they beagn to charge a fuel charge and this was wrong for them to do this to their customers.with the charge with the fuel and an administrative fees my bill went from $37 dollars to $90 dollars this is awful because of the prices i had to cancel , i feel like i am being pentalize because i canceled their services.when i called to cancel i was told that they were going to pick up the garbage cans with no fee it took me 3 times and long holds times before getting a hold of someone to talk to on matter and was never told a fee was going to be charged for picking up the cans due to the services being cancelled and the final bill was paid in full per customer ******************** .About 2 weeks later i received a bill in the mail for $90 dollars on matter a fee of $60 for the cans pick up and fuel charges of $24 and administrative fee of $6 making the bill of $90 really this is awful after i had canceled the services i did this and canceled over the phone REALLY......i had called and talked to customer service and a supv and was stated that nothing she could do on matter i had to still pay this bill i should not be charged for this or BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS BILL .THIS IS POOR MANAGEMENT THIS BILL SHOULD BE ZERO OUT THEY GOT THEIR CANS BACK CAN SOMEONE FROM CORPORATE GET BACK WITH ME ON THIS ASAP THANK YOU *.*****Republic Services Inc

If Republic services tries to become the Trash ****************** in your area, prevent it. Prior to their unethical monopolization of *******************, residents had the ability to choose their trash collection service provider. Now to have the luxury of choice you have to pay them $11 a month to opt out of their *********************** writing this review as a current customer. For years I was more than satisfied with Gallegos for their trash removal service. Gallegos came on time every week and had fair pricing. Since Republic has taken over as the defacto trash collection service in ******************* everything has been a nightmare. They came and took my bins without replacing them. I am a paying customer, never late on my bills. It has been over a month now and I still have not had my bins replaced or trash picked up, it is now piling up. I have spoken with customer service twice about this and have been assured that they would pick-up my trash and drop off the bins, this has not happened. Today I will call a third time, not knowing whether or not this will be the time they do something about it. I am far from being the only one effected by this problem. In short, Republic is more expensive than previous providers, does not provide the service customers are paying for. **************** is unhelpful and the wait times are long. They have monopolized our town and permanently cut service to certain areas with little to no notice. Customers have to opt out and pay $11 a month to NOT USE their service, and on top of that they have laid off many employees hurting our neighbors and our town. There is no benefit to having Republic in your area, prevent them from entering your market if you can.I feel robbed, and the town is facing a public heatlh crisis due to the build-up of trash from their lack of service to the residents of the town. Trash is being dumped on the side of the road in areas here because people are desperate...Republic Services Inc

We signed up for recycling at our business in downtown ************ and they have missed our pickup every single time for the last 3 months. We demanded a refund and they continue to pass us around in circles and don't know how to handle customer service in a manner that is professional and efficient. We were told when and where to place our recycling bin and they just drive right past it. I have watched it happen. We have made several email and online complaints that get no where. My bill is over $200 and they only pick up twice a month. Im being charged more than $100 a pick up. Im also being charged gas fee pick up fee. Disposal fee. Cleaning fee. And dumpster rental. I keep having to call in every other month to get my bill readjusted and credit put back on to my account. This time their auto pay charged me $412. And when I called in to ask why they said it should have only been $212 yet they didnt credit or refund the money into my account. This has gone on for several years and every time I try to cancel they try to charge me over 3k to get out of the contract. And then wont give me a contract end date.Republic Services Inc

This company is a freaking JOKE! they charge me $50.00 and then refuse to pick up bulk trash EVEN with a scheduled request, they are charging me WAYYYYYY more than the other trash companies. And now since I cancelled LESS THAN 30 days after starting, they are charging me a pickup fee!!!! THIS IS BULL!Republic Services Inc
