      My family rented a 26 ft and a 5X8 trailer to go to **** from ********. Yes we ended up having to pick it up almost 40 minutes away from the original pick up location BUT the area manager guy ********************* gave us an extra 100 miles for the inconvenience. But sadly we have issues with our personal vehicle being towed on a tow bar and then my husband suffered from heat exhaustion that we didn't get to go YET. So I called **** and he was the coolest man to help us thru this. He reimbursed us our money and when we do attempt to go again I will be contacting him again. If anybody is in the Polk county ******** and ******** area, I definitely suggest asking for ****! He was awesome!

      Do not get this service!!! First and most the most unprofessional moving company I have experience! Secondly, the rip you off with gauge prices out of nowhere adding fees after the contract that was in place. Moving Help Uhaul are simply thief in prices and **** gives you a estimate and this ***************** comes to collect the **** adding more fees as it goes. This is a bad company I will not recommend anyone to get!!! Beware!!!

      Horrible from start to finish Had the reservation all messed up and then over charged me with no explanation for damage to the truck. Just an invoice that said window repair no price breakdown or anything.. safelute was allegedly contracted to repair it however my quote from safelight came up $200 cheaper So apparently uhaul employees are allowed to run your card for whatever you want and skim off the top. Theyre thieves and crooks and offered no further explanation I had to battle for hours to even be connected to a human when I called just to be told the local manager was assigned the complaint .She didnt do ANYTHING offered no good answer and said the fleet guy would have to speak with me. Its been weeks and Ive called several times and never been able to speak to this mysterious person. I had to file a dispute with my credit card for the unauthorized charges. Ill never use uhaul again- what a scam

      My husband rents U-Hauls a lot for business purposes. We went to ***** for business. The truck was broken into. Insurance is always paid. A police report, and insurance claim were made. News Flash: when you pay insurance it does not cover belongings in the cab, or what you are hauling. We were sent 30 miles in the wrong direction for a replacement truck. We weren't eligible for one. We then had to wait 2 1/2 hours for someone to replace the glass. Very unapologetic. Lost an entire day trying to get from ***** back to *******. Other companies may be more expensive, but probably worth the money. Wish I could give them zero stars. **************** *****. They are all about the money.

      Abhorrent customer service from online help staff and in store staff. Changed my pickup time, did not confirm with us as the client it works for us. Was provided a truck that was dirty with chip crumbs (was reported in the online check in with photos), left over furniture in the back, missing furniture pads, and a very slow reply from "customer service". Wasted our time with the movers we hired through them directly. Had an equally awful experience the year prior. The Dufferin location in ******** is the problem although every location we have interacted with has been awful. Asked for an additional discount and was denied unless we sent in photos of the chip crumbs that were already reported on the uHaul check in. One star is too high of a rating already.

      If I could give no stars I would. My husband and I reserved a Uhaul truck scheduled to be picked up at 6:00 AM. Our reservation was set up to be a self service pick up. We originally chose a place that was exactly 7 minutes away from our current home for the conscience. My husband received a call two days prior to us moving from a rep that stated the place that was 7 minutes away did not have any available trucks to rent. She then looked up the next available place for pickup. The place that had a truck available was alittle over 20 minutes available. Due to us needing a truck we were fine with that. Today, July 15th we were supposed to pick up the truck. We arrived at the designated Uhaul place at 6:00 AM. We started the self check in service which then prompted us to wait for the place to open which shouldnt of been the case since it was a self service pickup. I spoke to a rep who stated they must have locked the keys on the inside the closest one that had another truck available was 40 minutes away. The rep was rude and was really nonchalant about the situation. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE MOVING TODAY AND THIS HAPPENS. I will never use UHAUL again in my life. My husband and I went with ********** which was a much better option not only financially but the customer service was much better and the process is much smoother.

      Got a ubox for a move from HI to **. I was told I would receive a call when the box arrived in *********** and that it could be put on a trailer and I could pick it up. I received no call and instead got a vague letter with no instructions on the next steps to take. Nonetheless, excited to get my things we rearranged the plans we had, gassed up our truck ($98 if you were wondering) and headed to *********** (an hour away give or take, its 2 lanes most of the way). When we got there we were told we couldn't get our box because they require 24hr notice (would've been nice if the email said that). We asked for a manager to see if there was anything we could do and we were told there wasn't one there at the time. Slightly annoyed, we told the employee we would like to pick up the box the next day. He took down our name and we left. The next day we once again rearranged plans and headed out. Halfway there I got a bad feeling and decided to call to verify pickup while we filled up the tank again ($84 this time). The employee I talked to said that we couldn't pick up our box because there were no trailers. The manager, TJ, told us we had no reservations? We explained that we physically came in the previous day and he said "well I don't know what you did but you didn't make a reservation". He offered no help nor did he try to reschedule our pickup. In fact, he blamed us. He was unbelievably rude and couldn't have cared less about the wasted time or money this caused us. At that point I asked to talk to his boss and he told me I could call 1800UHAUL (not 1800GOUHAUL) I called the ***** # where **** helped to make a pickup reservation and tried to get me in contact with ***** (? Who is apparantly TJ's boss) but she was unable to do so but assured me someone would be calling me...well, NO ONE CALLED. So here I sit, paying storage for a ubox I'd love for nothing more than to pick up and waiting on a call that'll probably never come.
