      We organized a Uhaul truck one month in advance of our move across the state. They called me at 7:40 am the morning we were to pick up the truck and said they did not have a truck for us until the following afternoon - and a 1.5 hour drive away from our house and the original pick-up location. NO GUARANTEES with this company. Five people had arranged time off and schedules to help us with this move. U-Haul offered me no financial benefit for the delay, and no other options of trucks to rent. We had less than 12 hours to come up with an alternative. It was a total nightmare.

      I rented a U-Haul Motorcycle Trailer on July 12th. I had made it approximately 45 miles when the trailer came off the hitch causing nearly $7,000 worth of damage. The person that hooked the trailer up, did not tighten it all the way down. I was stranded on the side of the interstate for an hour before I could get someone to help me. The person that came to help, wasn't even with U-Haul. I could not get in touch with U-Haul's roadside assistance via phone or online. When the person that helped put the trailer back on the hitch, they used a wrench and tightened it down then made a few hard jerks to make sure this would not happen again. I then made it 60 miles to my house without any problems. The next day I continued on to my original destination. I then made the 328 mile round trip without any issues. I submitted my claim to their insurance complete with pictures and repair quote. The claim was denied. U-Haul submitted a picture that showed just a hitch hookup. There is no evidence that this is even my vehicle. It does not show the license plate with it or even a corner of my vehicle. If this was not an error due to negligence, then why was I able to continue the trip without any issues after someone else connected it correctly?

      I want to share my horrible experience with U-Haul boxes order I placed back on 5/31/22 for my family house move from ******** ** to ********** **. I have ordered 3 containers - order #********. It's a 7K ************ My complaint is about the poor service ************** I had experienced dealing with U-Haul. Here are the facts: 1. Containers delivery was delayed for 2 critical days in ******** **. I received a call on the delivery day (6/19) with a rude operator telling me that i405 is closed & they have learned it from the driver only today morning (which is public information known well in advance) - moving boxes delivery date to 5/21. 2. Driver arrived on 5/21 & ruined my lawn trying to park a trailer with U-boxes at my driveway. 3. Delivery date in ********** was set for 7/22 - almost 6 weeks in advance. I received a call a day before delivery that my boxes will arrive between 12pm & 3pm. I spent 2 hours calling during the day to locate my boxes arrival time & was finally told that drivers are running behind & my boxes will be delivered the following day, on 7/23 - between 10am and 2pm. That was at 6:30pm in the evening. 4. About 7pm 7/22 I see U-Haul truck at my driveway. I am out of the house to meet the drivers. The same minute I am getting a call from "U-Haul Corporate" with an agent telling me that my order is ********* needs to talk to the drivers. I gave drivers my phone for a second & "U-Haul manager" asked me to get into the house to write down case ********* badge numbers. 2 min later I am back at my driveway to see truck pulling away with my boxes still on it... I called U-Haul to check why the driver disappeared without even saying a word. Scam call was so well coordinated with truck arrival time. My boxes were delivered 7/24.5. Opened complaint with Uhaul #*******. 5 days later - no formal answer... Just promised 127$ refund (delivery fee). Overall: missed critical move dates, extra expenses. Will never use them again!

      I rented a pick up after being in a accident with my truck, I needed another day so I was charged $68.00 for a $39.00 a day truck plus .69 a mile, then I accident left several hand tools in the door pocket, returned the truck on Sunday. I spent hours trying to call the local office to advise on my tools and keep being sent to another state, after work I went to the office and explained, they said no tools was there, bottom line dishonest employees, and poor management, dont rent from these crooks.

      I wish I could give 0 stars.We showed up at our scheduled pick up time, only to find out they did not have the trailer we reserved. They expected us to drive 3 hours out of our way to a location that had a trailer.This ruined our move and cost us 100s of dollars and we didnt even get an apology.I will never use Uhaul again.

      i reserved a 15' truck online, over a week in advance. received confirmation email stating that i would be contacted by a representative by 6pm the day before. there was no such call. the morning of, i take the initiative and call the **** number. they transfer me to reservations, and after i give them my reservation number i am put on hold UNTIL THEY HANG UP ON ME ! i call back and they tell me there is no truck for me. i ask, what do i do ? and they say to go pickup a truck from a location 2 hours away from me. i tell them i cant afford to drive a total of 4 hours just to get the truck because we are moving to a place 4 hours away already. the lady straight up tells me I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YA so i am all packed up to move my family of 4, the day of the planned pickup, without a truck.

      I would give it negative stars if I could. They are absolutely horrible, they say one thing and do another and when you call customer support they deny everything and blame you even though its their staffs fault. There is no due diligence. They say your conversations are recorded but they dont refer to them even though you ask them to to confirm that their staff was in the wrong. They all say different things and regardless of their inconsistencies no one in their staff is held accountable and no refund is made. The worst thing is they keep accusing you. Its thing only company I know that did something wrong and more than one thing and didnt own up to it and didnt refund a single dollar. They have this top down management that tells them not to refund regardless of what the customer endured. Shittiest company ever. No accountability or sensitivity ti customers. Even Amazon is better than them. Their ads are beyond misleading and dishonest.

      In summary, the 'reservation guarantee" was messed up and I called to get them to fix it. I was distressed about it on the phone so a very nice employe sweetly asked if I wanted to speak to a manager and transferred me. ***** said she didn't see what mistake was made and what I was 'all upset about'. She said she had no responsibility (I find out later that I was owed $50 for this error.... That's what she should have said to me.) I said you are so rude, that the other person I spoke with was so nice. And she said, well, you can call and talk to her. She hung up on me. I'm shocked she is considered qualified to work with customers as a manager.So I got a voicemail from the Regional manager, Vivica who said she'd listen to the recorded call and get back to me. No one did. i was told to email ***************************, ***************** President, and she responded, once, that she'd talk to that team. I would like follow-up but maybe they did hear the recording, and now just want me to go away so they're ignoring me. Too bad.

      I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service I received today! I brought my vehicle into the U-Haul store in ********************** (**** ***********, ***************, ** *****) for my scheduled appointment to install a hitch for my bike rack. I dropped off the vehicle at 2pm, and the guy that I dropped it off to said the car will be ready in an hour and a half tops. He confirmed again that it would be ready in an hour and a half, before I left. I walked back to the store two hours after I dropped the vehicle off, and a worker that had just got on shift told me they were not done yet and it would be at least another hour or more. I left and then an hour and a half later they called to tell me it was ready. I went to pick it up, and the workers were all super rude. They charged me for a trailer part that I didnt need, but reimbursed me. One of the workers showed me a pin to buy to hold the bike rack in place. I asked him if he could show me how it works and instead of showing me, he said its easy just line it up The pin ended up being too big so I went back to return it 10 min later. The same worker that sold me the pin earlier told me I could not return the pin without a receipt. I reminded him that my email address was wrong in the system and I asked if it could be changed earlier and he said no it is okay and he will text me the receipt. I never got the text and then he started arguing with me in the store saying I could not exchange it for store credit even though the new pin was two dollars cheaper. I asked him why he was being so rude to me when I was just trying to exchange the pin, and he yelled and said I am not being rude, Im not dealing with you right now he was extremely unprofessional and I recommend that nobody shops at the store. He was not the only rude one I dealt with but he was the WORST. I will NEVER do business with U haul again!!!!!!

      I am furious with UHAUL. The day before we were supposed to pick up one of our trucks in ******* **,, they didn't have it at the location. So they switched to another location 2 HOURS away!!!!! Mind you I've called UHAUL 8 times already! I told the rep, just leave the one in ************** and I'll figure it out. She said ok I'll leave your reservation there, even sent an email confirmation. I called again to confirm, about an hour later, THEY GAVE MY Reservation AWAY!!!!!! What the hell! They gave me a new location that's an hour and a half away. What is wrong with them? To top it off, THEY WERE EXTREMLY RUDE AT THE SCHEDULING IN ********** **! I am moving in 3 days.
