1 starI recently faced significant challenges with Simon Med Imaging while trying to secure an MRI for my husbands severe back injury. This experience revealed critical service deficiencies that need addressing:1) Referral Issues: Our referral was mistakenly sent to the wrong insurance company, and my husband was incorrectly informed that it had been pre-authorized, delaying essential care and worsening his condition.2) ************** Inefficiency: Attempting to resolve these issues led to an extremely frustrating morning. Each call to customer service lasted nearly 30 minutes, during which I repeatedly explained our situation. Despite assurances, calls dropped just as solutions seemed near. I persisted, repeatedly calling back, navigating the same menu options, and starting over with new agents who lacked context from previous calls. After four and a half hours without resolution, I was left in tears, experiencing distress I hope others can avoid.Recommendations: To prevent similar issues, I strongly urge Simon Med Imaging to improve their contact center operations. Implementing technology for call continuity and asking for a follow-up phone number could significantly enhance customer service. Efficient systems are crucial for managing urgent patient interactions.This experience underscores the need for reliable and compassionate healthcare service. I hope Simon Med Imaging takes this feedback seriously and implements changes to better serve their patients. Accurate processing and communication are essential components of patient care. 1 starWorst place to get your image done ..walk in for my 8:30am appointment to find 15 people sitting down waiting to be call turn around and saw papers on the reception area window ?? stating "we are having a staff meeting " will be with you shortly... 10:30am the crowd gets bigger people asking questions why don't you have the meeting after the patient leave at 5pm No answers..than I check in and was told $375 for an MRI of my back ..I said GOOD BYE ..Girl came back and said we can do it for $100 i look at her and said ..I wouldn't pay you a Dime for having me wait 2 1/2 hours .. now they calling to reschedule ..I repeat GOOD BYE ??Review fromJames M

1 starOld outdated equipment. Untrained staff. Unprofessional. Scheduled for chest CT, no contrast, and abdomen CT with contrast. They insisted on doing both with and without despite VA's instructions. They messed up the contrast by not running the IV properly and trying to blame me! Tech fumbled around and seemed unsure of what she was doing. ****. Dismissive and unprofessional. A painful nightmare. **** does not have complete command of English. Totally uncaring. 1 starDo not trust them for your imaging needs! I had a scan 3 yrs ago at a clinic for my legs and was told I have venous insufficiency and my ** wanted me to get another scan after I moved to ******* and the way they did it at ***** was way less in length for testing and it came back that I didn't have venous insufficiency I then went to see a vein ** and they did one and it confirmed I still have it. I also went in for a scan in my neck and they said I had no issues but in fact I do have a fake disc and arthritis in the disc below the fake disc. Just don't trust them. 1 starSimonmed needs to STOP calling 15 times a day every day, day in and day out calling, emailing, texting, starting at 7:30 in the morning and nonstop calls throughout the day to schedule appointments. It's absolutely ridiculous Simonmed med has called me OVER A HUNDRED times in the past 6 months. STOP CALLING!!!!Review fromFrances G

1 starThe Ahwatukee SimonMed location at **************** is by far the worstan absolute disaster. My visit on February 25, 2025, at 9:45 AM to schedule an appointment for my son, who is a nurse, this visit to SimonMed was the most unprofessional experience Ive ever encountered. The front desk staff, Lolly and ********, were shockingly rude and dismissive from the moment we walked in, offering no greeting, no professionalismnot even basic courtesy. They completely ignored me and my son when we arrived, showing a cold, unwelcoming attitude that screamed they had no interest in helping patients (which is their job).Their behavior only worsened as I tried to get assistance. When I approached to ask about availability, they rolled their eyes and left me waiting for over 10 to 15 minutes without a word. When I followed up, Lolly snapped at me. I told her her attitude was bad, hoping shed take it as a chance to improve, but instead, she snapped back, I can say the same about you, throwing it in my face rather than owning up to her behavior. When I stood my ground, Lolly flat-out refused to help me, saying she wouldnt provide service at all, with ******** backing her up. Neither of them assisted me, leaving me unable to book my sons appointment. They clearly cant handle being called out I confront them on their bad attitude, and they retaliate by denying service. My son, a nurse himself who knows a thing or two about professional healthcare, accompanied me and was appalled by their dismissive and disrespectful conduct, which heightened our frustration. 3 starsI had gone to simonmed imagining on Feb 10, 2025 2 ultrasound and a mamo. I paid $471.73 on that day from what the person told me when I was checking in. I checked my claim status and it shows that I should of paid $222.39. I have emailed simonmed twice already and no response from them. There is a difference of $249.34.Review fromPaul L

1 starAbsolutely useless! I made an appointment weeks ago after my doctor sent an order to SimonMed in *********. I drove 2.5 hours today to be here for this appt early tomorrow AM. At 3 pm today I saw a missed SimonMed call from a generic number. I called them back and was transferred to someone that I could not understand at all. I asked to be transferred to a US representative and was promptly hung up on. I called back again and was immediately transferred again from an English speaking lady to someone in broken English. The third time I got someone I could mostly understand and was told that I had received a call earlier because my appointment was cancelled. I drove all this way for an appointment made weeks prior to have it was cancelled and the earlier call I had received did not even leave me a voicemail asking me to call them back or stating that the appointment was cancelled. I told the representative that I had come a long way for this test - and was told by SImonMed that it was cancelled because the tech was doing an MRI and couldn't do my scan...even though this was scheduled for weeks! I asked how is that my fault or concern? I have been scheduled for weeks. The day before you call an cancel? Why because you make more money on and MRI than My scan? Do you only have one employee? You are the one that schedule me at this date/time...there was no problem then! What a complete joke this company is. Dont use SimonMed. They are horrible! Zero communication. No ability to contact their individual offices. No ability to schedule anything without talking to their foreign call center workers and if you ever book an appointment with them you can be assured that someone will call you the day before with some excuse because the can't plan ahead or think ahead. They just DO NOT CARE. Use them at your own risk! This company needs to outsource itself to to a socialist country since that is how it seems to be run. Zero stars if possible!!Review fromAnnie J

1 starThey billed me twice for the same procedure and getting ahold of them has been a nightmare. The people I've been on hold with know limited english and one was whispering and told me to call back in an hour after several prompts of "CAN YOU HELP ME?". I didn't hang up because I was waiting for the survey some companies do rating their employees and she wouldn't hang up either, so after literally 5 minutes of silence I hung up. The only other way to contact them regarding a billing dispute is by email, and I doubt they will get back to me. I emailed them once, nothing. I just emailed them again including all my information and I doubt they will get back to me. Oh but if I want to pay my bill, they have an entire portal for paying your bill and ONLY paying your bill. Anything else, you have to email them with all the info they should already have. The *** should be investigating this company.
