1 starSimonMed is by far the worst company I have done business with. The office staff is rude and unknowledgeable about scheduling and insurance. I have been over charged for mammograms to the point that my insurance company had to call them to remove the charge. Also. scheduling with them is a nightmare. They will always call to reschedule your appointment once it has been set. And the average wait time, even with an appointment, is 45mins-1 hour. Yesterday I had an appointment set with the *********************** location in **** for a mammogram. They called me in the morning to reschedule it because I was going to be the last mammogram of the day and the Tech had to leave before that appointment. So they moved my appointment to 15 mins earlier. I went, checked in and sat down where I proceeded to wait for 40 mins until one of the office workers asked if I was waiting for some one! I told her no, I have an appt and have already checked in. They told me the Tech forgot about me and already left so they need to reschedule me AGAIN. 1 starI went to SimonMed in ****** **. and asked the woman behind the counter if they take my insurance (gave my insurance card and she photocopied it) and they said they do, on good faith I had . I received a **** from SimonMed stating that my insurance denied coverage (out of network).I feel that I should not be responsible for this ****. I've spoken to 3 people (including a supervisor) on two occasions now about this. The 1st time they said that this is a "training issue" and to "disregard the ****". It's bad enough that they keep sending me a **** against their word, but they have been sending the **** to my parents house, AND I've updated my home address with them multiple times, yet they continue to change it back to my parents address who have opened the **** and called the ph#, and SimonMed gave information over the phone (a HIPPA violation complaint has been filed with the US **** of ******** The "best" that was offered was a 70% discount to make this problem go away.I'm curious how many others have had this same issue happen (false verification of insurance coverage in order to get business). The unauthorized changing of address for billing purposes to collect payment is another matter, a complaint for this with the **** has been filed.Review fromCatalina P.

I had a appointment today and there was some issues with my deductible and insurance coverage. I was asked by the front desk to call my insurance if I am not happy with the coverage. I called and the representative wanted to speak with them regarding my coverage. The front desk person named ******* refused to speak with my insurance representative. I was told my services were covered 100% by my insurance but every time they asked me to pay. This time they wanted $300. My insurance said I dont have to pay anything . Though out our conversation front desk ******* was rolling her eyes saying she doesnt understand what I was saying ( I am from *******, I have an accent). After that when I went to sit down waiting for my appointment they were looking at me giggling and laughing. I felt very uncomfortable and I felt treated wrong because of my race. This location is inBuckeye, ******* and is not the first time they treated me like this. I will not recommend this site and I will like if someone will do something about their customer service.Catalina P.

1 starIf zero stars were an option, that's what I would choose. This company is so unprofessional. Every time I've had something scheduled with them, it has to be rescheduled multiple times before I either give up or it finally gets done. There is a serious lack of communication between departments, especially when it comes to the scheduling team. These are people's lives being affected, and they don't care at all. Had to miss work for your appointment? They don't care. Are they gonna call you ahead of time to tell you your appointment can't be done? Absolutely not. 1 starQuoted more than $750 for a transvaginal ultrasound. I never meet my deductible in a year and said I would give them $100 and **** me the rest. The man at the computer and the male manager both treated me like garbage for not having nearly $800 at the ready to give them, they stated they would start a payment plan and then dragged their feet with doing that, just staring at the computer as if I was going to sprout a money tree, the manager then tossed a card credit application at me. I discussed this with my PCP who states this type of ultrasound should never cost more than $150 out of pocket. Ive never been treated so poorly or undignified in a medical setting. DO NOT USE SIMON MED, EVER! Especially if youre a woman needing access to healthcare.Review fromDavid T

1 starLike the other hundreds of complaints registered about SimonMed they have overcharged us on our copay saying we have to pay hundreds of dollars for our copay. We called our insurance and they said our copay was $20 and SimonMed once again overcharged. However you give the business an A+ rating misleading the public just like SimonMed. 1 starI had an order for x-ray of my hip.According to ****** this place opening at 6:00 a.m. . I get there at 7:30 where I've been informed it will open 8:30 for the x-rays. I repeatedly asked after 8:30 what's going on they said I will be the next. At 9:26 I still waiting for my call.I learned the same associate administrating also the bone density tests. Those has appointments. X-ray doesn't take appointments. So in my understanding as long as the bone density patient showing up x-ray patient has no chance to get they procedure done. So I was sitting there 3 hours for nothing. I tried to get my money back, the two receptionist is just pointing on each other. The management for this place is absolutely disaster I will never go Simon Med imaging office ever again...Review fromTanja T

1 starNo radiologists? Then don't set the appointments! My first appointment was scheduled and they called me because "the radiologist was busy" so they had to reschedule. Fine. I rescheduled over the phone for 2 days later. I got a text today from SimonMed saying "please complete the check-in" and when I click to the website it says I don't have an appointment. I called the phone number and NO APPOINTMENT for the 2nd time in one week! This is a different location than appointment #1 and the person on the phone said "the radiologist is not able to do this appointment". This is insane! Why schedule me and have me take time off of work if there isn't a radiologist. Was someone going to call me about this cancellation?Review fromAnthony C

1 starThumbs down to Simonmed.After 4 days talking to this people I went to my appointment only to find out that my group insurance is not taken by Simonmed. I have UnitedHealth, with a group named FLONEX, let they know and asked if they take it, was put in hold for a couple minutes, the lady get back on the call and told me "yes, we take UnitedHealth al the way around. My surprise was big when I got to the counter and the girl at on the other side says you need to pay from your pocket, we take your insarance, but your group insurance is not taken here.4 days talking, summitting all kind of information they requested to be told that.I pay a total of $27.59 in taxi to be on time, got a text while talking to the office girl and didn't get my test done because of some one at they end didn't do his/her job. Thumbs down to Simonmed.******************************* *****************, *******
