I have received two text messages in the last month telling me I owe $50.10 to this company. First, there are multiple people in this home and this is not addressed to anyone specific. Second I have not seen an EOB or a paper billing statement from this company, nor am I aware of ever using their services. Third the text is not addressed to anyone specific. Fourth the web link asks me to provide a birthdate, and also is not specific to a person. Finally on the looking them up on the web I see all kinds of issues with this company with regards to billing, including an F rating on your site. I dont even know how to address this with the company directly as they do not seem to have a website and one complaint seemed to indicate they arent even open for business.Initial Complaint

Sonoran Radiology sent multiple texts to us in regards to a bill. We responded by asking for an itemized statement, which we have never received. We had not received ANY paper statements. We asked them to stop texting, it was harassment at that point, they continued and still did not send a paper statement. That was February, March and April. No statement. May 24th we got a statement, the first, saying if it wasnt paid would be going to collections. However, it is NOT an itemized statement and we still have yet to receive one. When I attempted to use the pay online option it is all dead links. Shows as buttons but you cant click anything. I called customer service (outsourced I am sure based on the poor English and comprehension) on 5/30 Shy? Transfered me ******** to after having me on mute, not hold, for 11 minutes. She didnt transfer me/put on hold until I said wow 8 minutes to get help might as well file a BBB complaint while I am sitting here having my time disrespected. She had me on mute for a large portion of the conversation laughing with her coworkers and didnt pay attention to what I said at all which is why I asked for a supervisor. Got an escalation specialist not a a supervisor ******** and she was as well not comprehending English and all she could do was apologize for the inconvenience. She had no solution for us still not having an itemized statement, but she did say we have a 0 balance and thats why I cant click the button. However, they are untrustworthy based on our ongoing experience with them. She said she cannot send an email with proof of 0 balance, can send us a letter in 7-14 business days. Meanwhile they will send us to collections, if there is a balance, which I bet there is , I have NO FAITH in the ability of these overseas employees that are never held accountable and only hired as cheap excuses for employees. So my choices are overpay for something I still havent verified are accurate, go to collections. Would like call backInitial Complaint

i was in a car accident and brought to hospital as a result, sonoran radiology was supposed to bill state farm and instead they billed my health care company and sent me the remainder of the bill. A bill for ****** was issued on 4/11/24 for a ** scan that occurred on 11/4/22. I went to the hospital on that day with no insurance at the time and therefore used self pay. I did not receive an emergency room due to overbooking and elected to leave early due to the symptoms wearing off. A doctor only spoke with me in the waiting room prior to the **.I received 2 bills within the next 2 months which were both paid in full. The cost for the ** scan from Banner which totaled some ***** dollars, and a second bill from the doctor that checked on me which amounted to some ***** dollars. Both bills were paid in full within days of receiving them.From that point on neither Banner, the doctor, or any radiology group has contacted me about any outstanding balance as I had paid in full the self pay rate.Now, nearly a year and a half later, I get a bill for ****** from a company with nearly 100% 1 star reviews known for unethical billing, fraudulent charges, and violating the no surprises act. I have been harassed by Sonoran Radiology Ltd. repeatedly for several years now and sent to collections twice for the same bill. (Two separate collection agencies.) I sent them an EOB from my insurance stating I had reached my out-of-pocket *** directly when I first received the bill. I called them 4 separate times explaining my insurance confirmed I owed them no money. They sent me to collections and I resolved with that agency, and now I just received ANOTHER letter from another collections agency trying again. This agency gave no supporting docs or way to send them documentation showing I owe them nothing. I have sent hours over the course of 2 years and they just keep coming at me! I received a collection notice today from a collection agency regarding a past due bill from 08/17/2022. This is the first time receiving any notification of an outstanding balance. I contacted my insurance who paid this claim already. Extremely upsetting to be sent to collections and never notified that they had an accounting issue. My husband received emergency services on 10/29/2022 due to negligence during a routine colonoscopy which resulted in a severed artery and severe blood loss. The provider never sent the bill to our insurance company (no denial or EOB received) and we never saw a bill until 2/25/2024. It is highly unethical to send a bill this late especially because insurance can now deny for timely filing. This bill is for $2955.00, a very large amount and something that we were not expecting at all as our insurance coverage is good and covers most if not all for these types of services. It was our understanding that they were contracted with our insurance but it appears that radiology and nuclear medicine bills outside of the facility, something we were not aware of. Besides the fact that it was 2am and my husband was bleeding out when we arrived for emergency treatment. This company uses highly unethical billing practices.Initial Complaint

I received a letter from Radiology Partners ****** in which I am being billed for the following CT scans and X-rays that I never received nor were prescribed by a doctor.73700 - CT:Lower ***************** Location of Service: ************************ ***** - CT:Head/Brain W/O *** Location of Service: ************************ ***** - CT:Neck ************* Location of Service: ************************ ***** - ******************* W/ *** Location of Service: ************************ ***** - Xray:Exam Of Chest; 1 View Location of Service: ************************ The date of service is 10/24/2023.I contacted the billing departments do my doctors office and ************************. They dont have any records of me receiving these CT scans and X-ray. I also contacted my medical insurance company and they dont have any records of these procedures. I am being billed for $3,195.00 with a statement date of 12/19/2023 with a payment due date of 1/18/2024 and account number of *********** was informed by my girlfriend, she works in the medical billing field, that this is a scam.I also received a reply from Southwest Medical Imaging regarding this bill in which Sonoran Radiology was implicated due to the *** prefix on the account number.Initial Complaint

They are requesting information for health insurance which was already provided and paid for according to payment records directly from Banner Health where I was treated after a car accident. The number they provide simply hangs up when calling. In July of 2023 I had to go to the ** for a visit and was told i need radiology. I said only if this was in-network. The provider pressed and told me I HAD to do this. low and behold and a few thousand dollars later I was sent a bill by this company who provided me a number to a company based out of ***** that collects payment for multiple radiology groups. I later called the same number and spoke to a different person who lied and said they were in fact Sonoran Radiology and there was no other numbers to contact. I informed the person I would be unable to pay the entire bill and offered a set amount i was willing to pay in order to close this account. I was told I had to talk to someone from the actual offices in order to negotiate the bill. I then spent two hours going down the rabbit hole to discover this company is a subsidiary of Radiology Partners. I then spoke to someone who informed me I would be able to pay in full at the negotiated price but was unwilling to provide proof of the conversation or an agreement of the amount to be paid. The fact this company makes it so difficult to actually communicate what can and will be done is just shady. The fact they threaten to strong arm you legally to pay bill but make it so difficult to actually talk to someone who represents the practive is almost illegal. I refuse to ever use any services from Sonoran Radiology moving forward.Business Response
