      My house at *******************, was literally struck by lightning last week (8/4/23) and we've gotten no follow up once we got someone to first come out in response to the emergency work order. The contractors from Omega Construction were nice and fixed the door frame the fire **** kicked in and wrapped the wires in the attic with electrical tape, but after that we've heard nothing else. ***** was sent to actually inspect the roof or the wiring throughout the house after it fried some of our electronics. Noone from the office has made any more contact and our hot water heater is still turned off. We had to call the fire department because it smelled like gas in the attic and they turned the gas off to the whole house. I've had nothing but issues in the 5+ years living here when it comes to getting in contact with the office and actually having service requests completed. I doubt the homeowner has even been made aware of the fact that the house was struck by lightning to begin with. I work in the maintenance department of a different property management company, and the way our service issues are handled has been pitiful.

      This company is a rip off. We lived in the residence for four years. They never want to fix anything. Leave their residents without power or hot water for days. And then try to nickel and dime you upon move out. They also refuse to share the utilities with the client but make them use their services. We have been charged almost $100 a month for trash service alone and no one will show me that is a correct amount but all of my neighbors pay that each quarter. Do not rent from this company. They are slumlords! I am so happy to be moving on from this place.

      I opened a maintenance request because of the compressor of the A/C unit isn't working on a Thursday evening. I checked on Monday and they cancelled the maintenance request. I live in the southern tip of ******* where it's hot and humid. I've been told this is a very common practice with this company to cancel maintenance service request with no reason.

      I have never been so unimpressed with a company or customer service experience that I have left a 1 star review. This is the worst company and the worst customer service on the face of the planet. When I rented from them 2 years ago it took them almost 2 weeks to fix our ACin *******! Then when we tried to sell our contract to new renters we had to send the information to them multiple times. Now, I havent lived there for two years. The new renters have signed a NEW contract. But do you know who they contact anytime the new renters submit a service request? Oh, its me! Do the new renters get contacted? Nope! So not only has their AC been down during the HOTTEST TIME OF YEAR they arent even being contacted because they are contacting a number they have been asked to change MULTIPLE TIMES. These people are wildly incompetent. I havent even mentioned the way they abuse you financially. I wont get into that. DONT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! You will regret it. Wildly regret it. They are the most dishonest company I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

      These people are LIARS and CHEATERS! They will tell you anything to get you to sign a lease. Thank God my antennae were up during the process and I backed out, $400 later. The leasing agent, *****, said I would get $200 refunded, SHE LIED. (Now I cant get in touch with her.). The clincher was when she said they needed my banking userid and password. (They already had pay stubs, etc. and I had already been approved.). They are dishonest to the **** DO NOT RISK USING THIS COMPANY!! YOU WILL BE SORRY.

      NOT TRUSTED COMPANY. I had the worse experience in this company. I rented a home from Progress for 3 years, always paid the monthly bill before due date. After 3 years,When I was signing my renew lease, an emergency situation has arisen. I called Progress and explained everything that happened, I said to the attendant that I needed to be back to my country. I asked the attendant if about the moved out fee because I was making the moved out letter 30 days instead of 60 day requirement. The attendant said that understood my situation and in this case I was excluded of payment the fee.After I moved out, they blocked my acess to Progress online account. After several times calling, the attendant said that I was charged in $2,000.00 for not making the letter 60 day before.I explained her that the attendant said that Progress excluded me of playing moved out fee. She asked me to open a case to solve it. I opened a case, and they just closed the case with never email me back with an explanation .I sent many email back asking how they closed the case with not contact me to talk?!?They never contact me back. After I call Progress again, they reopened my case. But the costumer service attendant was the worse attendant I knew. He didnt do anything to help me. He Just did no care about my situation. He just mentioned that I needed to have a document signed excluding me of this fee. I explained him that the attendant never mentioned it to me, I trusted on attendant words, what she said. I couldnt imagine that I should sign something excluding me to pay this charge. My only mistake was trust her words. Unfortunately Progress didnt care with his custumer. The attendant said that cant do anything, and I have to pay a bill of $2,000. This company is not honest and trusted.They say one thing and do another totally different.I live in the US for 9 years, and never had any problem with the homes I rented before.I regret the day I rented a home with Progress Residential.

      The biggest scammers I've ever came across!!! Please Please Please be aware of this company do not give them your money because you may end up homeless like many others whom have dealt with this company. Very misleading, liers, scammers and no customer service what so ever. We need a class action lawsuit against this company asap. I want my money back you guys stole from me and my children!!

      Im not one to complain/review, but things need to be righted Progress. We just moved in & it has been a nightmare. It was supposedly cleaned before our walk-thru, but it was dirty so they said itd be cleaned before move-in. Nothing changed. Blinds, kitchen, cabinets, fridge, vents, etc. were nasty. Hair is stuck in the paint all over including the stain on the kitchen cabinets which have some kind of shellack/clear coating that was applied over dirt, fingerprints, & other grime & is now permanently sticky & dirty looking. I spent a week deep cleaning & could not get rid of it. It took Progress almost a month to get another professional cleaner out *********** say it is some type of glue that would need to be scraped off & would ruin the cabinets. Well be charged @moveout if its not professionally cleaned so it should be turned over to us as such. We contacted Progress about all of this numerous times but have been transferred 2-3 times each call w/no escalation or communication between transfer, the review we left on the initial cleaning service request was completely ignored, every ************* call has been a different person whos unable/unwilling to help & refers you to another # or email or tells you to wait for an email that never comes. Its been about 3 *************** has changed. I was frustrated but ready to wait it out & write it off as a ***** move-in. But now we cant get our mail ********* ******. Went to get them from the *********** exactly as our lease/move-in orientation instructed. *********** says they dont have ownership of that mailbox, Progress does, so we either need to get the keys from them or have a locksmith change the mailbox locks. We call again, they say I shouldnt have to pay for a locksmith & put in another service request. Now theyre claiming they have no responsibility ********** on us to pay a locksmith. We wanted to stay here for a long time but this has been too much. DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS!!

      This company is criminal and surprised a class action lawsuit has not been filed.It all started with my move, they assured me the home went through a quality inspection, Id have a move in orientation, and that Id be able to check the home out upon arrival and be able to switch if the home was in bad condition, since I was moving across the states. The home had leaks, roaches, rat feces, improper building codes, smells seeping since their was no pee trap under the sink and so much more. The home was disgusting. Progress tried to force me to stay until I showed them proof of everything and thankfully I recorded everything when I walked in. The leak was the only reason they allowed me to transfer of all things. I was transferred, with the transfer specialist reassuring me that everything was covered. Because of the way their invoices are written, its extremely difficult to follow credits and transfers. Apparently, even after my transfer agent assured me there was no charges, the company tried charging me rent, cleaning fees and costs to repair damages I didnt create! I had tried to get out on day one only to be forced to stay, living out of boxes with my 7 month old and roaches as roommates! They are finally in the process of reversing some of the charges but are still trying to charge me some of the rent for the extra two days of the month I was there even though they were the ones forcing me to stay. They want me to quite literally dispute every single line item down to the *****. As if a general, statement implying they should own all charges and take responsibility isnt spelled out clearly enough for them. All of this has cascaded to additional charges for late fees, eviction notice fees, and such that Ill have to dispute separately. I have spent over 30 hours now, that could have been used to make money, to fix their mistake. Theyre crooks.       I truly do not recommend leasing one of their properties, they wheel you in and once you're locked in the they no longer their concern.. I rented a unit in Feb 2023 and April the entire ceiling in the garage was filled with mold, I followed all the proper procedures and notified them , only for them to inform me that I would have to wait 7 days before they are able to assist me with this urgent issue, meanwhile my family was getting sick and being hospitalized for the excessive mold, long story short they provided a (1) hotel room for four adults, lack of communication and currently trying to evict me because I did not provide them with the rent because my family was displaced for a two weeks . I would like to specially point out the office in the ************** ******* area that has ******************** in it, she's liar , rude and does not have the knowledge needed in order to handle the position that she holds.
