      The absolute worst customer service ever. I filed my application, they then needed a co signer. I drove out of town to have my mom get on the lease with me. I had literally talked to someone EVERY single day since I filled my application out. I asked multiple times about the money not being debited from my account, every single time was wait 5-7 days and it would show. Then I was told that I was unable to rent and put on a do not rent list, due to insufficient funds. Still to this day my money is in the bank and available. I have proof they never had a pending status on my account. They are totally unprofessional. I will make sure I telll everyone I know, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM or even try! Its a waste of time. They are respectful until they decide what they want for you! I most definitely wound waste time even trying to rent from them.

      I recently rented from Progress Residential and had the worst experience EVER!! I will never rent from them again. I wanted to move out early. My lease was supposed to be up in FEB ****. I gave them a 60 day notice in 08/2023 that my I would be moving on or before 10/23/2023. They still charged me for the whole month of Nov 2023. I will never recommend anyone rent from them,=. Also the communication is horrible. They never CALL you or send any letters regarding the status of your account. The customer service reps give conflicting information. The maintenance men come and go in your home as they please when you are there. I mean the list goes on and on. Long story short, run as far as you can from these guys!! Its for sure not worth the high rent that they charge or the headaches. Oh and when you call customer service, you are going to be on hold at least 5 min or more.

      Too bad ZERO stars isn't an option.They tell you a "holding fee" will remove the rental from the market while your application is processed. Lie. It is still being marketed.You are told you were lucky to he the first person to put a holding fee so that you can get the one you want. Also a lie.Then there is a fast said blah-blah about how your holding fee can be applied to other houses that have.You make it clear that you are placing a holding fee for the 1 and only property you are interested and don't want anything else. They agree.Then you are told approved. Then told denied. But in the meantime your application fee ($50 per person) plus some weird $35 fee that allows you to have access to the documents you are "signing". Then denied And.... the house we were applying for said 2.5 bathrooms. But it turned out only 1.5 bathrooms. And we are roommates and made it very clear we wanted that house because of 2.5 bathrooms and the location.SCAM!I want my money back

      My current residence is a Progress property, We have had no working A/C during the summer months at +100 degrees outside and cant get below 78 or 79 in the house, the maintenance team and Area Director both said its normal for TX, I said that wasn't true cause I had lived here for 5 or so years and had also lived in hotter places like ********* and ******* with no issues using an A/C at 72 degrees. The home isn't up to building code, the insulation in the attic is original from 20 years ago. There are no roofing vents to let out excess heat so during the summer it was 165 degrees in the attic and adding on to the A/C issues. The foundation is sinking in many parts with about visible 30 cracks and tiles inside the home popping up causing a tripping hazard, bathroom doors don't latch, doors wont stay open, and so on. I've called about all these issues all they did was send someone to cosmetically fix the cracks and then 3 weeks later they returned and more showed up in different parts of the house. I called the Area Director stating that we will going down to the court house to set up and escrow account to place rent in until the issues have been fixed; she said we couldn't do that and it was against the lease, basically stating that we have no renter rights. She also stated that they won't fix the foundation, tiles popping up aren't an emergency cause its a tripping hazard. She also said that it doesn't matter that I am in the military and they can evict me if we don't pay rent. She said that she's been in this business for 26 years and knew what we could do.       I just recently for the third time Applied with Progress the first time I applied was in February I got denied and they said I needed a gurantor. I got one approved and by the time everything was supposed to go through the house was gone so then I tried again in March April I got approved they came up with some scheme that My Son did not receive an email to be added to my lease. I am on section 8 and they pay my rent and I also pay because I have a job and I have SSI for my son so I can afford the house, so I just tried again, about a month ago and I have been going through a nightmare with them. I paid my 350 for me and My Son and then they said I needed a gurantor with them so I went back to my best friend and asked her to be a Gurantor . They denied her then they told me to pick another Gurantor . I got my mother-in-law to be my gurantor she got denied. And I know she make enough money and she pays her bills so then I got another gurantor which was my cousin who drives trucks makes $8500 a month and does not have bad credit. He has a 630 credit score well he got denied so I said what is going on Come to find out they never took off the other Gurantor off of my application so they ran all five of us together and divided the score up and of course I was denied so now I lost out on that money they would not give me my money back except for $100 out of $350 that is some BS so then I tried one more time with someone with a ************************************************************************************************* so I just spent another $150 and hopefully they will give me my 250 back in a timely manner but all they are doing is ripping off people I see that now with the reviews that they have theres no way Im on section 8 with a $2700 voucher and I cant get a Progress home thats **** section 8 is paying my rent and I have income so at this point, I am calling the Better Business Bureau on them and everyone else should too zero stars!!!

      The worst company I have for dealt with! The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. Their excuse was expanded too fast like too many homes, and not enough maintenance people I have been in my home that I have rented for nine months now they were going to fix everything before I moved in, but my tub still doesnt work right cant use my electric grill because the breaker pops cant use my hot tub inspector said it was not wired correctly. He fixed my shower and patch ************ but didnt paint it was promised swimming pool access and was even advertised online. Never got access to the swimming pool. Had to go join a public pool and drive a half hour away to do so! They said the house was inspected two times but when we first moved in my friends, daughter went to pull the blinds up. The blinds fell down, hit her in the head and shoulder had to take her to the emergency room and get stitches and x-rays totally unbelievable I ran 18 businesses before I retired if I wouldve ran my businesses like they are running their business, I wouldve been out of business, totally amazing that the higher-*** dont know what the h*** is going on!

      Very unethical company after paying are application fees they gave the house away we were in the process of qualifying for ***** refuse to give us are ****** holding fee back after 2 months imagine the money they make off honest people just trying to find a home

      When I moved in, Progress Residential ignored our complaints about their lawn being dead. Then they tried to get me to pay to resod. They wanted receipts for lawn care, pest control, and tried to get me in trouble with the **** They did not fix a leak in the roof after we reported it 3 times, they did put some glue on a nail, but water still came into the attic and through to the floor. They never looked at the damage while we lived there for 2.5 years. They charged $35 for pet rent for the 2 months we had to pay to get out of the lease. This is only a start to these high end slum lord money grubbers. Every cent the say they will collect in their lease, they will no matter how good a tenant you are.

      I wish I had looked at the reviews here first, this company will scam you $400 dollars, a holding fee, they will not let you view the house until you sign the lease which I find very suspicious. they denied my application because NSF could not go through with the *********** was banned from renting with them again, there are so many great companies to rent with I wish I had seen these reviews here!
