      Date of transaction: 12/19/2022 Amount paid: $1,270.78 Business sold 4 new tires and mounted them on my ************ committed to sell me "new" tires. Business instead, without notifying me, sold me tires that, on the date of installation, were 4 years old. The tires were manufactured in 2018, and they sold them to me in 2022. I only found out when Discount Tire's employee notified me in December of 2024 when I took the car in for service that my tires were nearing the end of their service life due to the fact that they were 6 years old. This was a big shock to me. I feel like Discount Tire defrauded me, and I am owed "new" tires to replace my old tires they sold me 2 years ago.

      I went into Discount Tire in April and had 4 tires replaced. I then had to get another one replaced under the warranty in August. These were supposed to be new tires. I was told 9 months later that three of the tires were worn and the warranty wouldn't cover it because there was over ****** miles on the tire. We have not driven that car for ****** plus miles in 9 months, so how are they determining that the tires were driven over ****** miles. It doesn't make any sense, and I am beginning to think that they are trying to take advantage of us and trying to get us to pay for extra tires. I also am beginning to think that the tires that they put on the car were not brand new because there is no way that they have ****** miles on them. They are not being forth coming at the ********* location that we originally went to, and I would like another set of eyes on this and for someone to make this right. All of my information is in the system and I need for someone to reach out to me. Thank you.

      I purchased 4 new tires just a couple of months ago. The tires have ***** miles on them and the wires are already showing. I came in because my tires are still under the store warranty. Discouny Auto only offered me a discount and I was charged $71 for 2 new tires. I'm asking for a refund of $71 because of my being fairly new and under warranty.

      I have a warranty on a tire and they refused to look at it , refused to service it, refused to replace the tire that I bought from them and payed extra for warranty unless I bought 2 more tires from them. They just wanted to sell me 2 tires. Why would I want to buy two more tires with the warranty if you won't even service the warranty that they we already have

      Recently, I visited your location to purchase a single tire for my Tesla ************** to coming in, I called to inquire about the cost, and the representative over the phone provided me with a quote. Based on this information, I proceeded with the purchase and installation.However, when I went to pay, I was surprised to find that the amount charged was significantly higher than the quoted price. Due to the holiday season and my busy schedule, I paid the amount without questioning it at the time and left to return to my family.Upon later reviewing my receipt, I noticed an additional charge for tire protection, which I had not requested or agreed to. I called the store and spoke with ****, who had assisted me during my visit. I asked if the charge was optional, and he confirmed that it was. When I questioned why it had been added without my knowledge or consent, his response was, I thought you wanted it.This explanation was unacceptable, as there had been no discussion or explanation of the optional charge at the time of purchase. **** offered to refund the amount but stated that I needed to return to the store in person to process it. This added inconvenience during a busy holiday season felt unnecessary and ************** primary concern lies in the broader business practice this incident suggests. If additional charges like tire protection are routinely added without explicit customer consent, it constitutes an unethical approach. While individual refunds may be provided when customers notice and complain.

      Thank you for your prompt response and for addressing the issue. However, I believe this was not a case of miscommunication but rather an intentional practice. It appears to be a standard procedure to include this for all customers, whether they notice it or not.


      The sales representatives must understand that this approach is both unethical and detrimental to the companys reputation. Such practices can lead to significant issues over time.

      On 12/28/2024, I went to Discount Tires Store AZ-23 to have (2) New Tires (305/30/20) installed on the Rear of my Vehicle. I was Graciously and Professionally greeted by Discount Service Consultant **** who immediately ascertained what I was there for, and then proceeded to have the New Tire Tires installed as requested. However, after the TIRES was INSTALLED on the REAR WHEELS, an Individual Name D*** which I believed was a Store Manager or an Assistance Store Manager or ************ Representative on Duty had the **** advised me that my Tires were too Big to Fit onto my Rear Wheels; that was 20xs9.5 and also Specifically made for Vehicles like I was driving. Furthermore, I had previously (more than 2 years ago) had the Exact Same Tires (mounted and serviced) by Discount Tire Stores on another Vehicle such as the one I was having the aforementioned tires installed on this morning. D*** told me that it was a Safety Hazard and a Discount Tires Policy that my Wheels needed to be 20x10 Minimum while instructing the Tire Technician(s) working on my Vehicle to Dis-mount the Tires after they had already been Mounted and Balanced on my Wheels. Disregarding my request to see for myself the Safety Issue or Concern that Violated Discount Tires Policy. This seem to me as a Power Play to let me know who In-charge period. Shocking because I have never experienced such as long as I have been coming to Discount Tires. I immediately asked him several times to SHOW me the Safety Concern before he had my New Tires dis-mounted, but he continued to disregard my requests and instructed the Tire Technician(s) to continue removing my tires. I then told D*** that this was not an issues for me as the Owner of the Car; nor was it a Safety Breach because I had previously had tires just like these installed before. I also told D*** that he cannot set a Precedent because of the previous installation, and to do so was Wrong and Unfair to me as Customer.

      Good Morning,

      Thanks for your response and your willingness to continue to follow up to ensure someone from the **************** contact me. I need the District Manager or this Individual Supervisor contact me to discuss this matter further, before I can consider this issue resolved. Also, Discount Tires owe me $109.43 paid to one of Discount Tires competitor that installed the tire's without any drama or hesitation. But charged more, and wasted an additional (2) hours of my morning that day, which was unwarranted and costly too. Likewise, I will not disclose the Competitor Name or Invoice because I believe that they would be contacted as retaliation.

      I purchased a tire in February of 2024 with a warranty . While purchasing the warranty the Representative never stated the warranty had a stipulation. Fast forward to December of 2024 Im in need of a new tire. I took my vehicle in because while getting something completely different on my car done ,I was told the tire had tread . So knowing I had a warranty I took my car in today to get it checked . Upon analyzation I was told by a very rude Representative that my tire will not be fully covered under warranty. The stipulations were that if the tire has over ***** miles or any major damage . Its a major inconvenience that discount tire representatives do not clearly state the stipulations . I was offered by the rude representative only $77 off the new tire. Thats a major inconvenience being that 10 months ago I just paid $265 for the tire . I feel as if I have been scammed into purchasing their terrible warranty . The warranty benefits the company because they can snag I few dollars from the customers . It has to be a better solution to the problem especially because the tire is damaged before the guaranteed time .

      12/26/2024 Took my vehicle for a simple flat fix. The flat was repairable. A thin silver nail had inbedded itself in a tire lug. After personally inspecting the tire throughly from all sides, no other damage was seen on the tire. The salesman said that they discovered a staple near the sidewall. The staple was not present during my inspection. The staple was approximately 1 cm deep into a tread lug. The salesman pressured me to purchase a new tire not because of the nail but because of the staple. I remove the staple with my hand with no effort. No air was leaking nor did it cause damage to my tire. Salesman kept insisted that I buy a new tire. I'm suspect that he stuck the staple in my tire to make a sale.

      Order Placed: Nov. 2 2024 Order Number: ********** Date of Service: Nov. 6 2024 @ 4:15PM Order Total: $1,392.97 Service Description: Replace all 4 tires on 2011 *** 750Li Dispute: On Dec. 10 2024 @ 12:30PM I was driving northbound on I-43 on a new stretch of the expressway when my rear driver side tire blew up. This caused damage to the tire, the wheel, multiple body panels, and maybe suspension. I believe Discount Tire is liable for installing a faulty tire on my vehicle.Discounts Resolution: After going through Discount Tire's claims department, they've offered me $200 in compensation

      I have been going to Discount Tires for over 20 years and have always had above and beyond customer service from all staff and mechanics. Always sing Discount tires until today December ******* when I met *** associate. He started out checking tire and helping me but when I could not find the low price vendor I left on my computer he said unless you have that I cant help you. I asked if there is anything because I also have to get the breaks replaced and I had to come 5 times to get air in back tires because slow leak. Now instead of replacing that tire they just will charge me for new tire so ok fine but the experience has not been up to the discount tire standards of great service. He even said if you want a better price maybe pick a lower price tire. I was beyond shocked. I asked to speak to ******* the manager. Although he was pleasant he never apologized for his team not providing great experience. I love discount tires but please do better
