      I received prepaid credit cards as a result of a promotion I purchased. I just went to use the credit cards now and it says that the credit cards have expired. I asked for the company to please issue a new credit card that is valid, or please transfer the funds into my bank account, and they said they could not do that. I am due these funds, and it isn't fairor honest that they are taken away from me.       I understand that the business has written me letting me know they received my complaint, but they have not addressed the complaint yet. They're hoping to get back with me within two business days. I would normally not accept or reject their answer at this time as I have not received an answer yet, but this BBB only allows 5 calendar days to elapse before the case is closed. This is too short of a time.. the BBB should allow at least 14 days to receive information from a business, such as we are seeing now. There's no way this should be closed that quickly. Therefore, I am keeping this complaint open, and rejecting the company's response as it is not an official response yet. I would like to ask the BBB to please change their policy to allow for 14 business days to have gone by before a complaint can be closed due to no activity.

      I purchased a set of tires online and paid. Discount tire charged my card and it was left pending. I went to my car appointment and had the tires installed, and the next day I was double charged for the tires. An extra $1051 and change taken from my account with no authorization. I called the store and they said they could do nothing for me and to just wait. My bank confirmed both charges are present. I was also never refunded for the tire disposal fee even though I kept the old tires. Its nearly Christmas and I need that money for presents.

      I have yet to be contacted by anyone from discount tire, instead they just waited the 10 business days for a pending transaction to automatically fall off. I got the money back due to the transaction timing out, not due to any of discount tires efforts. If this had been the end of the month when bills were due this would have been completely unacceptable. It already is.

      I purchased ****** mile tires ******** Primacy MXM4 Set 4 Tires that have not upheld.Discount Tire not honoring to replace them free of charge...I even purchased the voucher certificates.I am getting the run around, started last year when I went to location to get my tires rotated and air pressure checked and they mention that I needed 4 tires.I mention that couldn't be so I purchased the tires in 2020. Due to my recent forms of employment change the demand for me to drive a lot has declined tremendously. know for certain I hadn't/still haven't driven ****** miles on the ******** they come back later and say I need to purchase not 4 tires but 2 tires now.Either way still didn't agree with that b/c again.I wrote a letter to Corporate which met with no success.I just concluded that I utilize the certificate in the event I get nail or something to that effect.Which I did have a nail, I called AAA they put a Spare I stopped by Discount Tire Location 12/06/2024 to inquire if again decision be changed unfortunately provided an estimate for new tires... Been calling around and chkg w/others and I reached out to ******** and they suggest that go to Discount Tire for a Warranty chk. So I returned 12/11/2024.***resentative reluctant to do, as of 12/14/2024 I haven't heard back from ******** Warranty very likely that ***resentative didn't even bother to contact ********...I am going to reach out to them and Inquire if so Monday 12/15/2024...Discount *** mention that tires 6 years old, which not true I purchased in 12/31/2020.I know last yr Discount *** mention that tires that put on old, which that should not be held against me b/c Discount Tire put them on why would put already old tires on car, also, mention that maybe chose a different Model ******** tire b/c no good...Which strange that they are still selling this tire model, even the representative gave me a quote on this same tire model if it is not a good model tire that lasts why are they still marketing it?

      On April 19th 2024 I purchased tires for my vehicle at Discount Tire I went back after eight months and was told that I need it to replace my tires. I have not done a lot of driving and Im not sure how within eight months I would need to replace tires. With all my years of driving, Ive never had to replace tires this fast. The company is unwilling to remedy this issue. This just tells me that Discount Tire gave me bad tires to begin with.

      Hello I am leaving this rcomplaint as a very dissatisfied customer. Long story short, unfortunately I got a nail on one of my tires, brought in to get patch, gentlemen mentioned he wouldnt be able To fix it due to nail being in a unsafe area however, I did purchased the certificate but guess what! It doesnt cover! Its upsetting because I was mislead, and lied to. When I bought my tires, they explained that my certificate would cover my tire if at any point in time any damage to it, including a nail was unrepairable They would give me a new tire, which as of today I was told my tire is unrepairable. Unfortunately, as I came to discount tire today that was not the case the gentleman tried to explain due to safety reasons, etc. etc. etc. which I understand however I dont see the point why I paid $140 plus in a tire certificate if I can even use it, I feel I have been cheated on I feel I have been taking advantage of and most importantly they took my money. Im not trying for $140, Im more upset about the fact that they misled me to take my money away when I swapped my tires. It seems discount tires only finds a way to say your tire is un repairable, The certificate is no longer valid, in order to take your old tires and obviously upsell you on brand new tires. What happened about the consumer what happened about a business reputation? Its sad how its all money driven and unfortunately, theres nothing we consumers can do about it. Unfortunately, I paid for a tire and my certificate..

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Discount Tire for an appalling experience with their delivery and service. Their negligence and incompetence not only disrupted my entire week but also caused undue stress and frustration.I placed an order with Discount Tire for a full set of tires, which was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, December 10th. Upon delivery, I was informed that only the rear sets had been delivered. Despite this initial inconvenience, I took the time to drop my vehicle off at their location. Soon after, I received another call stating that only one front tire had been delivered instead of two.This second delay completely derailed my carefully planned week. I had to reschedule two other important appointments just to accommodate their mishandling of my order. Their lack of communication, coordination, and basic competence reflects a total disregard for their customers time and commitments.The ripple effect of these delays caused me significant inconvenience and demonstrated a level of unprofessionalism I have never encountered before. Given this experience, I will never be using Discount Tires services again, and I feel compelled to warn others about their inability to fulfill even the simplest of commitments.This level of service is unacceptable, and I am requesting a formal acknowledgment of their mishandling, along with appropriate actions to ensure no other customer has to endure such an ordeal. Additionally, I expect compensation for the unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time caused by their failure to deliver on their promises.

      To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to file a complaint regarding defective tires I purchased from Discount Tire on November 20, 2024. The experience has been frustrating, and I am seeking assistance to resolve this fairly.After purchasing two Phantom tires for $364, I noticed my car pulling hard to the right immediately after leaving the store. I scheduled an alignment at *******, costing $100. During the alignment, they found the Phantom tires were defective, which caused the issue. ******* provided written documentation confirming this.On December 11, I returned to Discount Tire with this documentation. The store acknowledged the defective tires but did not have replacements in stock. Instead, I was offered Falken tires and credited $260 for the defective tires, requiring me to pay an additional $182. This credit was less than the $364 I originally paid. (I was told The less amount was due to labor cost)Upon leaving with the replacement tires, I discovered I needed a second alignment, which will cost me another $100. This adds to my frustration, as the first alignment was unnecessary, and I am now incurring further *********** date, I have spent:$364 for defective tires $100 for the initial alignment $182 for replacement tires $100 for a second alignment I am requesting reimbursement of $200 for the two alignments caused by the defective ******** a loyal customer of over two decades, I am disappointed with this experience and hope Discount Tire will work with me to resolve this issue fairly.       12/5/24 : 0800 $1388.89 ******** Defender 2 225 /60 R16 I had four new tires (with certificates protection) installed on 12/5 at your location at ****************************************** ***********************. I dropped my vehicle off at 0800 and picked up the vehicle at 1245. I was informed after the installation that one of my tire pressure sensor batteries was dead and that the other three were low and about to go out. Unsure as to why I wasn't informed about this prior to completion of the install, I scheduled time on 12/6 to have the new sensors installed. During my second trip to the location my cars were locked in my vehicle with it running, and I had to have my wife take off of work to go to our home to get the spare set of keys and brin g them to me, which burned nearly a quarter tank of fuel. and costed both of us over an hour of work time. On 12/7 I went out to start my vehicle at 0730 to take my daughter to her debate tournament when I noticed my tire pressure light was back on, and that my right front tire had gone down to 27 percent. I thought it could just be the winter elements so I drove her to school and went to get my vehicle washed. While drying off my right front fender I noticed air bubbling out of the valve stem. I aired up the tire to match the others and called the location where I had the tires installed. I am now scheduled to return to the store for the third time later today to have them assess the situation which will take at least another hour of my time. I feel like the amount of time away from work this cost both me and my wife, fuel to and from the location, and the lack of attention to detail should result in some sort of adjustment of the bill or full refund.       On 7/12/2019 I purchased a set of four new tires for my car. I asked for the replacement certificate and the repair/maintenance certificate. History will show that I have purchased all of the tires for all our cars from Discount Tire and I always get these certificates. I paid a total of $712.45. I recently had my tires filled and checked at Discount Tire and was told that they need to be replaced. These tires have only been driven ****** miles and are rated for ****** miles. I inquired about new tires and my warranty. Discount Tire had noted the warranty certificate on my original receipt and had billed me $0. They now tell me that they will not honor a warranty replacement for these tires because the manufacturer does not offer them a warranty. Discount Tire knowingly and deceptively sold me low quality tires and unbeknownst to me, they removed the warranty charge during the sale. I would like my tires replaced or at least a prorated cost for replacement.

      Damage to my wheels occured on Oct 9, 2024. I came in for 2 rear tires advised the service writer to have his best man do the work and had them take pictures of the wheels before any work was performed. They apparemtly no longer have the pictures. After the work was performed I told them my wheels were damaged *** I wanted to file a complaint. They chose not to take any pictures but I did. which i am including. I was contacted by ****** ******* of Fleet Response a few days later. Her first resonse was it't my word against theirs. A few ays later it became the damage is not consistant with the service provided. After that it became "normal wear and tear" . The claim number is *******. I have uploaded an estimate for the wheel repair which is $1000.00 and the estimated rental car cost is $237.00 as the repair process will take 3 days. The pictures I have provided show the damage to my rea wheels and since they cannot provide the pictures they took before the service I am providing pictures of my front wheels as a point of reference. They are the last 2 pictures . This has been going on for over 6 weeks and they refuse to take any responsibility for th damage and are not giving my after pictures any credence. They chose not to take any pictures at the time the complaint was filed which was immediately after the service. This complaint supercedes the one filed on 11/22/24 which I felt was not detailed enough..
