I was sold 4 new tires. One tire always goes down to ***** lbs of pressure. I have taken the car back 3 times now with no resolution. I want a brand new tire that holds air that is same make/model/size (exact replacement).Business Response

ON 11/14/24, I BOUGHT 2 REAR TIRES FOR MY CAR FROM AMERICA'S TIRE ** IN **********, **. I DROVE IT ON THE FREEWAY THE NEXT DAY AND THERE WAS A WEIRD PULL AND SHAKE. MY CAR DIDN'T HAVE ANY KIND OF PULL OR SHAKE BEFORE THE NEW TIRES. I WAS OUT OF TOWN, SO I HAD TO FIND TIME TO TAKE IT TO THE CAMARILLO, ********************. ON 11/16/24. I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE PULL AND SHAKE, AND I ASKED THEM TO RE-CHECK THE BALANCE OF THE NEW TIRES. I went in on Thursday 11/14 at 3pm to have a nail removed from a tire/repaired flat and left at 6:30pm. The following morning (Friday 11/15) another tire was flat unable to drive it, the spare tire had to be put on. On Saturday 11/16 my wife took the truck in as we had both been at the business the night before last, one of the employees recognized her and stated he would try to get the truck in right away. A different employee approached my wife and stated the wait would be longer than she had anticipated and scheduled an appointment for me to return on Monday 11/18. At my appointment I was told the tire could not be repaired (the nail is in the middle of the tread) just like the other repaired tire from 3 days prior. My tires are in the yellow still based on their examination from Thursday 11/14 (green - tires are good, yellow - need to be replaced soon, red - needs to be replaced) I understand this is a business and they want to sell tires and make money but if all the tires are in the yellow worn out the same stock tires and you fixed one 3 days prior why not follow with customer service and repair the other per my request/visit.Business Response

I took in my 2017 Yukon Denali for a set of tires. My total was $2000. I have special tires and a nice set of 22 rims. Im very careful with my truck, specially my rims as theyre not cheap! I brought my truck in with no damage to any of my rims nor did my old tires have any scruff marks on them. When I picked my truck up after my new set of tires got put on, all 4 rims had damage. I told one of the employees and they came out and said that looks like pre existing damage but I can file a complaint. My husband and I both looked at him and said no that was not there before Im very careful and you can even go take a look at my old tires. (Which they didnt do!) He said he could file a claim and after that its up to them. At that point I said well youre already trying to say its pre existing so are they going to even do anything? I just spent $2000 here and thats all you have to say?He said I can file a claim would you like that done? I said definitely! Do I need to come back inside to do paper work and get a new receipt or anything? He said no you will be contacted in 3-5 business day with any answer. So I have no proof of the claim. He didnt take pictures of all the damage. If it was pre existing it wouldnt have some of the same marks on all 4 rims. And if it was curb related the damage wouldnt be in the locations they are in and my old tires would have been scuffed up! To go and spend $2000 and then come back to my stuff damaged and pretty much get told in so many words that Im probably SOL is VERY frustrating!!!*the pictures are hard to see some of the less noticeable damage but I can point it out or show in person!*Business Response

I do not accept this response however, I spoke with Lion from the Oshkosh location who apologized for what happened and took full responsibility. He offered to replace my rims or refund my money in which I chose a refund! This is what should have been done from the start. Subject: Neglect to perform basic safety procedures Description:I paid $3201.05 for wheels and tires and they didn't install centric rings or even recommend them as well I even told them I had a vibration issue on the first set of tires and still no mention 4 visits and no mention of centric rings after I research I purchased them myself to speed up the install they told me it would take 3 days to get them in very dismayed with the service this will be my last purchase for tires and wheels from Discount Tire buyer beware centric rings are a safety issue and Discount Tire took no action to warn me of the potential dangers also after the first visit my air suspension service message came up on my dash I told the manager he didn't look at my truck just said we always check. Discount Tire is not properly installing and or servicing my truck after spending $3201.05 the corporate office needs to be aware of this and I will make sure they are this is very dangerous I found out on my own about centric rings, not from DISCOUNT TIRE many people could potentially have been seriously injured very disturbing, to say the least you put your life in their hands at the very least you expect them to inform you of potential dangers they failed. I want something done to prevent this from happening in the future and I want to return all wheels and tires I will go to a tire company that takes safety seriously. I am distraught with the service I received from the Alafaya store they put my family life in danger on 11/11/24 they took off my tire and saw there was no centric rings and still sent me on my way how dangerous is thatBusiness Response

Went to Americas tire to have four tires replaced. During the process of replacing the tires the technician gouged up my wheels in several areas. The business apologized and said all they are authorized to do is refund the price of labor which is $96 compensation. However, the price to fix the wheels from the damaged they caused is $175 per wheel x four wheels is $700. $95 is not going to cover the damage. All I am asking for is the business to fix the damage the tire tech caused when he replaced the tires. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in helping me resolve this.Business Response

wanted to bring to your attention an unfortunate incident I experienced at one of your Discount Tire locations while I purchased new tires, I've been a loyal customer for the past eight years, always trusting you with my tire purchases and any issues with my vehicles. During my last visit, there was damage to the interior of my car that wasnt there before. Im sure of this because your employee even complimented me on how neat and clean my car was that day, and I hardly drive that vehicle. After I got my car back, I noticed damage to the steering wheel. I immediately called the manager, who acknowledged the damage and offered me free tires and a gift card. However, The manager forwarded me to fleet insurance, but since then, my calls and emails have largely gone ignored. I've reached out numerous times, sent statements, and even provided photos that were already shared by the manager at that location. Despite their promise to send an adjuster, I havent received any real updates or communication unless I repeatedly follow up. This has been going on for two months now, which I believe is far too long for such a simple issue to be resolved. Each time I call, I get different responses from different people, and theres a complete lack of clear communication. Im kindly asking for your help in resolving this issue. On 11-6-24 I purchased and had installed a wheel sensor tire pressure switch. I previously had one installed there last year. I came back and had the driver side rear done as that was the one showing bad. The two techs removed the front right which was not bad it was the one they replaced already.I cought them and ask that it be corrected and they did the correct one. Now both are showing bad The computer *** is brand new in the car so it was not that as the tech and his manager tried to blame. So now I am out the fees for both sensors $67.12 the upfront order guy couldn't care less and shrug his shoulders. I brought the car to another dealer and he confirmed the one installed 11-6-6-24 is not the correct one for my model car. I would like to get a refund on this job.Business Response

on 10/29/2024 my daughter ******* ******* went to this location for tires.,` she is a 20 year old female, never got tires before, and away from home. the buisness only had 3 tires in stock. now instead of telling her that they could not do it, selling only 2 tires, or ordering a 4 tire from another location. they decided to take advantage of her , becuase she is a young girl who did not know better, and sell her 3 tires. which you should never do. now on 10/30 she could not drive the car as the bad tire on the front was causeing a major pull to the right and almost caused a bad accident on I10. so she had to pull over on the side of I10, which is dangerous, and get towed back to the tire place. after speaking with the manager, he did apoligize and then gave her 1 free tire which he ordered from another location. he said it should not have happened. now i was going to let this go, but then after they gave the tire they then blamed her for allowing the guy to do it. they actually passed the blame of their fault, which almost killed her. which i would of sued the h*** out of you for it. as you never put 3 tires on a car, never. she went to you as you are the experts. she is not. you sold her 3 tires, put her life in danger, and then tried to blame her for allowing the guy to do it. how bad of a company are you that you make a mistake and then blame the victim, your employee took advantage of a 20 year old, you did try to make it right with a free tire. as she missed work due to it. but you then blamed her for allowing your experts to only sell her 3 tires. that is like telling a **** victim it is there fault for being around the big strong guy. how corrupt and incompetent is this place. no one should use this company and people need fired. as you again if she would of crashed, or been hit sitting on the side of the rode, i would of sued you for millions, no one should ever be sold 3 tires.Business Response

Wheel lock was improperly installed on rotation, from August 15, 2024 (Appointment # **********). The wheel lock is now missing. It was identified during my visit on October 15, 2024 (Appointment **********). I will need a Discount Tire to both replace and install new wheel locks.After the technician identified that the lock was missing, I asked what could cause such a problem. After all, the only place that my tires have been serviced has been discount tires. The technician said that sometimes when the car bounces around, that the device becomes loose. This makes no sense to me. The technician told me that do not tighten up the wheel locks all of the way. Once again, this was a very poor excuse.This is a problem of very poor service, and the fact that the technician gave me a flimsy poor excuse is quite problematic. I believe I need a new set of wheel locks from discount tire, and discount tire should install them.Business Response
