      Discount Tire is advertising with ************* tactics. They advertise a product at a low price to get the consumer to their web site, thrn require the consumer to set up an online account to pursue purchase of the advertised product at the advertised price. Once the consumer has provided their vital personal information, i.e: phone number, **************** they then state that the product is discontinued & no longer available and attempt to draw the consumer into a purchase at twice the advertised price. That's ************** and honestly I thought that was an illegal sales tactic in the ***I have a screenshot of the advertisement, however my device will not allow me to upload it on this URL.       I have replied to the email sent by Discount Tire on 9/26/24, I have not as yet received a reply.  In my email to their representative I explained in detail the issue and attached photo evidence as well as photos of the Discount Tire website showing the falsely advertised prices.  I have retained a copy of my reply to the Discount Tire representative and will forward that email to the BBB upon request and once the BBB supplies me with a valid email address to forward it to.

      As of today's date 09/27/24, Discount Tire has not replied to my email to offer any resolution to my complaint.

      I went in to discount tire on 8/17 to buy a new tire, and the tire came off when I was driving. My life has flashed in front of my eyes unbelievable. I never seen nothing like it. It's been 6 days and haven't heard back from the claims department.

      Took my vehicle to discount Tire to have screws taken out of the tire and plugged. They said yes they can do this to both tires in the rear. First thing they tried to do was sell me tires that I don't need. And I made that clear to him. They call me later saying they can't fix one of the tires because it has another hole in it that they didn't see. And immediately goes into his spill of trying to sell me a tire. I told him no I don't have the money for a tire just put that one back on and I'll get a tire later. Now he's saying the tire won't hold air because they pulled all the nails out and it won't hold air now. It's not my fault that they didn't check the tire out correctly to see if they could fix it or not. Now because they have messed up they're trying to sell me a tire. It was holding air when I took it to them So I should be leaving there with a tire with air in it. But the manager is saying that I have to have a new tire so he has hijacked my vehicle at this point. What I want is my tire back on there holding air like it did when I took it there. There again it's not my fault his tech didn't troubleshoot correctly.

      8/17/2024 I ask them to do a AC Inspection They charged me ***** for the inspection no problem told me it just needs to be recharged I Paid ****** to have it Evacuated and recharged the next day AC was blowing hot I made an appointment to see why they told me it had a leak then why did they recommend to recharge it at ****** I ask for a refund because if they would have inspected it right I would have never had them recharge my AC the manager put in for a refund but the corporate office told me they don't give refunds I had to have the work done there and they would recharge it for free they tried to make me have the repair done there so I believe they know all along that it had a leak

      My family and I have been customers for over 30 years and can't believe how badly I was treated. WOW! I've always thought Discount Tired was a great company and purchased a lot of tires through the years. It's shocking how the once good company has turned completely opposite. *******, the manager at ***** ***** ****** and 101 tried to create fear that I need new tires and he can't rotate my them because my tires are so bad. it had less than 15k miles and I had them rotated 5k miles ago and have air in my tires at the proper level. He wanted to provide a price for new tires. I took it over to ***** dealership and they rotated my tires and said it was in great shape and they should last several thousand miles. **** had done the same thing to me in the past. My neighbor has the same vehicle with more miles and he just had his tires rotated there no problem. I think he thought I am a young woman that he can easily manipulate to purchase new tires. My experience with him has been extremely unethical. I filed a complaint, but never heard back from their VP so I decided to reach them at the corporate headquarters and I was treated horrifically by their employee ****** Walk at the front for no apparent reason. He started threatening me verbally and physically to leave while I was at the parking lot and he said that he has my license plate number and all my information which includes phone number, residence address, while I was at the parking lot trying to leave. WOW and I've been a customer for over 30 years and this is how I am treated. I am petite woman and a professional and feel uncomfortable that this person has my contact information. I don't know the level of his violence but I did see some form of it. He has my contact information, including where I live which I feel extremely uncomfortable. I need someone at corporate to reach out to me.

      I purchased a tire and certificates for the other tires on my vehicle. I have since traded it in. Per discount tire terms I can request a refund for the certificates, however the store said that can't be done.

      URGENT NEED HELP NOW!The stores are telling me two different things about the tires that I purchased. I was told 2 weeks ago that the tires on the front of my car are from 2021 and needed to be replaced. I bought 4 tires all together from 2023 and 2024. I went to another store to see what they would say. He also said the tread was low and needed to be replaced I asked how old were the tires he said they were from 2021 as well. When I said NO I bought 4 tires 2 in 2023 and 2 in ************************************************************** new tires he changed it and said it was 2023 I do NOT TRUST YOUR STAFF. I have been buying tires from discount since high school. And I WILL stop buying tires from you all behind this Obviously the tires on my car in the front were never replaced as they should havd been which is dangerous. I want the tires replaced I called your corporate office around 11 am cst from the number listed and *** was NOT helpful at all after I explain this to him he says.. so you need to talk to a store manager?? What?? Out of everything I said to him, THAT was his response..he also said you could nothing in corporate. I called corporate one other time years ago and they were BEYOND helpful. What is going on with your staff. I want the call pulled with *** and my tires replaced like they should have been

      I went on Saturday 9/14/2024 to the location in *********** to buy tires. I was warned beforehand not to go there but I felt I had a good deal and I could take my car elsewhere to get other work done, so I got it done. As I was leaving the mechanic said my TPMS was still learning and the readout for my left front tire was 10. After driving it around for a bit it didnt change, and the next day I got a message saying service ***** I took my car down Monday and there was a line out the door. A young man said hed check for me and he started accusing me of causing the issue or that the batteries were dead in the ***** I explained once again up until Saturday I had no problem, but again he was insisting it wasnt their fault. I became angry and left the property. I called several times to corporate who also seemed reluctant to help me and continually tried to dial the manager of the location to no answer. At this point my trust in them fixing the problem has run out that the issue will get fixed, and Im just going to take it to another place to get fixed in a few day. I believe both the manager and person I talked to on the phone didnt want to deal with me, and now Im stuck with a potential $320 repair. I would like a partial refund at the very least, or for them to pay to fix it.

      Daughter needed new tires. They scared her into thinking her lug nuts broke off. They were not. They were caps that covered the lug nut. They did not rotate the tires as they were supposed to have as stated in their advertisement. They charged her $40 for a set of lug nuts and wiper blades. They scared her into believing her tire was going to fall off and she was going to wreck her car. Lug nuts were on her tire. I tried to call them but the manager just gave me a runaround. I could have gotten lug nuts and the wiper blades cheaper through my daughter's step dad's work. It should not be charged $40 for a set of lug nuts and wiper blades that she did not need. They were taking advantage of a young woman who doesn't know anything about cars.

      My daughter purchased a new tire in March or April of 2024. The tire was placed in the driver side rear. On the last day of August 2024 the tire along with the rim fell off while she was driving! Two of the lug bolts broke off while three remained. A reputable car mechanic looked at the damage and stated hes seen this sort of damage from OVER torqued lugs and that theres not a limit regarding miles as to when the wheel would come off. However Discount Tire denied ALL liability as well as demeaned my daughter, insinuating that she being a girl had no idea what she was talking about. Discount Tire was the last to work on that wheel and I find it incredibly hard to believe that they think they arent liable! Where is the customer service??? All Im asking is that they fix what was broken.. nothing more.

      Discount Tires has failed to offer anything other than a denial. They have not offered any explanation as to why, nor any proof of non liability. Theyve just simply stated Denied. Whereas I have received mechanic statements that the wheel would not/could not have fallen off on its own. However being that the wheel in question was the wheel replaced by Discount Tire it could only have 2 causes. One being the over torquing of the lugs, which is what is suspected or the second thing NEGLIGENCE on Discounts behalf, placing a new tire on faulty lugs without notifying the customer. Which if thats the case theyve endangered my daughters life which is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT problem. That we can open if they want!
