I toot my car to get a four wheel alignment and was quoted ***** which I paid for after picking up my car I noticed that they only aligned the front tires so I called the shop to why and I was told that the car needed replacement parts. So I took it back to them the next morning to have them explain what parts were needed. I call back a couple of hours later to check on the status of my car only to be told that they needed special tools in order to align the rear tires which is nonsense all you need to set the toe adjustment is a 14 mm wrench and socketBusiness Response

6/24 I had a flat tire repaired at Discount Tire in *********. Went back on 8/1 for four new tires. Turns out they did not put the wheel lock key back in the glove box after they did the repair. No one had my car or touched my car since 6/24. ******************* (salesman) said he would order me a new wheel lock key. I called on 9/4 as I hadn't hear anything. **** answered the phone. First Will was not there that day and after I explained the problem to **** he said **** would be in around 3 pm and they would call my back by end of day. It's now 9/7 and I have hard nothing. I faxed my issue to regional headquarters on 9/5 and no response from them either. I would like Discount tire to make good on replacing my wheel lock key. I would also like them to be honest and do what they say they will. People should think twice about using Discount Tire on W 130th in *************.Business Response

I visited the *************************************** on 9/5/24 because my low pressure tire light came on again after trying to fill with air on 9/4/24. I figured I could have a nail. After being ignored for over 10 minutes while phone calls were being answered (in my opinion let the phone ring & help those in front of you) I went outside with the associate and was immediately told all 4 of my tires were AWFUL and needed replacing. The employee could not see a nail. We went inside and he immediately pulled up tires and was trying to quote me as if everyone who comes inside has $800+ to pay. I asked if they could still look at my tire without purchasing and I was told, sure, but I dont recommend that and what are you going to do if we cant fix it? Again, I cant spend $800 in the next 2 seconds without looking into things. They look at my car and come back inside and say, yep there was a nail, and we patched it up then I was told, the tire pressure light will turn off a few minutes after driving well, it never turned off. I brought my car to a competitor for a 2nd opinion and no part of my tire was patched. I am certain discount tire did NOTHING so I could come back and spend money with them. I listened to every bad tire scenario they gave to each customer that walked in. They target woman, people of color, and the elderly. I noticed the white man with a suit and tie was greeted promptly and spoken to differently. The only sufficient resolution to this horrendous situation is a GiftCard or credit to use for tires. I will not tolerate being lied to or treated in such a way like I am stupid.Business Response

I took my car in for it's normal 5K tire rotate and balance on 8/12/24 and was upsold some wiper blades. I asked the gentleman checking me in to make sure hub rings were there, was not cracked and to make sure they all made it back on the car as they have forgot before. They had my car ready in 30 min which I thought was odd but just figured they were really good. I asked about the hub rings and was told, " they are all good, nothing to worry about". Then I noticed the wiper blades I paid for were never installed. When I asked , they said oh, ok give me 10 min and we'll get those done... Not too happy at this point but down the road I went. It felt a little weird and had some vibration but I was just driving it home to park as I needed to drive my truck for a while due to work needs. Once I got to drive my ***** again, it was worse and even heard a loud humming noise and bouncing , noise sounded like from rear passenger tire and bouncing from front passenger tire. Vibration was in the steering wheel and none of this was normal nor was it this way prior to bringing in for service. I called to verify they had the hub rings and made a new appt on 8/22/24 and told the asst ******* what happened on previous visit so he said his top tech would check it and found I was lied to as it was missing 1-2 hub rings and the ones on the car were the wrong size and jammed into my hub. They said they found the correct ones and installed them , however I'm still having issues with vibration and it don't feel the same as before taking it in to the discount tire shop. I called corporate to file a complaint and all they did is have the store ******* reach out to me and the guy was clueless as all he could say was something about a canceled appt and unrelated issues. At that time I reached back out to corporate on 8/27/24 and as of today 9/4/24 no response. I told them I want a second opinion from a professional tire shop as I don't feel safe driving the car like it is now.Business Response

I rejected because it states if I accept, the complaint will be closed out before any resolution is found and completed. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I was contacted by *******, manager and had me come in so they could make it right. I will not return to the ***************************** location as they ruined my trust. I will only go to the Surprise store and deal with ******* only. I was able to drive the car home and then to work this morning and all feels good again. Apparently, they installed the wrong size hub ring at the other store and was causing all the vibration. ******* took the time to look up my cars hub size and match it to the correct hub rings based on my RTX rims. I have to ask why the other store didn't provide the same level of service , especially since it was their second chance to make it right. Thank you ******* , you provided amazing customer service.

I took my vehicle to Discount Tire for a tire rotation. Upon picking up my vehicle I noticed that the tire rotation was not done as I have a plugged repair on the drivers side rear tire and it's still in the same position. This tire should have been moved to the front! So basically I dropped my vehicle off and two hours later they text me that the tire rotation was complete! Total scam! They offer this service at no cost for existing customers, but free or not this is bulls** and they should be investigated!Business Response

I bought 3 tires for my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica, one of the tires indicate message of low pressure, they told me i need to replace the pressure monitoring sensor for that tire, i dropped of the car to replace the sensor , when i picked up the car there was a message on my dash saying 3 low tires. The tech told me to drive the car about 50 miles and the 3 low tires will disappear. I drove the car over 120 miles and the message still saying 3 low tires. I took it back and talked to a manager ********, he said they did not do anything wrong and told me to take to the dealership!!!! i did, the tech at Dodge dealer told me that discount tires messed up and said to take it back to discount tire. Currently **************** and deployed. My pregnant wife at the time took my 21 ***** Trailboss in for a tire rotation 30JULY. I got 14 days (9 home) for the birth. She wanted to get my tires rotated before I got home. Discount Tire Employee ran over the curb then over a fire hydrant 30JUL.My tire rotation that day was free. I immediately called that store and got ahold of the manager. Damage estimate from body shop, $2500. New rim needed. Side to side damaged. Truck backside panel body dented and patch scratched off. Paint correction, re-coating, and tire adjustment etc for new rim. I sent Discount Tire photos, which were also taken day it happened along with the estimate twice now and my wife has also. Discount Tire Claims employee out of office, in and out for over a week during this span. Discount Tire has stopped reaching out, stopped responding. Look at their reviews for this location. Multiple people similar instances. Damage done to vehicles, and then ****. What can be done to facilitate this correction? Im getting frustrated with lack of response and action from Discount Tire. It has been a month and seems like they just keep stalling and no progress in remedy. Damage estimate $2500 on previously undamaged $60k truck.Business Response

Ive been waiting for over two weeks. It takes 3 business days to hear from your team? So Friday and if not heard back then you are closed on weekends then the next week I would assume at yalls rate.
For the claim on the damages caused 30JULY, what was required from me to you were photos of damage (taken and sent 3 times) and the estimate report from Caliber Collision (also sent 3 times).
We track millions worth of parts coming across the Atlantic. Tank engines and parts get to us faster then yall can finalize a simply claim payout to damage caused by a Discount Tire employee.

On 3/8/2023 I ordered a set of tires that costs. ****** tires and ****** warranty. I went to discount tire on 8/24 in hope of getting my tire repaired. I was told due to a factory warranty the tires would be returned to the factory and was sold on another set of tires at ******. During the service I was told I had 3 bent rims. Then was told after services a lug nut had broken. If I had bought the rims I still would have had a broken lug nut that was not brought up to me during that time.During the weekend I had to drive around on a broken lug nut. Then to make matters worse when I took it to their partner brake plus for service they took two hours and had the wrong size lug nut.This feels like a bait an switch on the tires as I should they should have been covered under the warranty and was sold a lower graded brand of tires. I would like a refund of ******* for tires I purchased on 3/8/2024 since I purchased the warranty and those tires should have been covered by the manufacturer. This refund does not include lost time from the shops error of breaking the lug nut and not getting the right services by their recommended partner.Also, trying to get sold on a set of rims when they knowingly broke a lug nut.Business Response

Let me start by saying I've always used Discount Tires for tires and I've never been treated this way. On Friday 8/23/24 I purchase to Pirelli tires online and then called the Discount Tires at **************************************** to see if they had them in stock and when I can come in. They told me that they had the tires and I can come in a hour. I get there and they tell me they only have one and that I had to come back the next day for the second one. They put one tire on and end up breaking the tire sensor on my car. So now the sensor is reading 0 when it's a new tire. I let them know and they tell me it should go off in 24hrs, which is not true and they refuse to fix it. At this point I call corporate and they have the store manager ****** call me the next day. He says they didn't break it, the battery might be dead. But he was not there the day the tire was installed. He tells me to bring it back in for the third day and the guy that put on the tire hands him the sensor as soon as he mentions my car. He then acts like the guy just took it off the car. But I had already taken it to another Discount Tire location and they said they were unable to detect the sensor. I also just picked up my car from **** the day prior to this for warranty repairs and they gave me a receipt with everything that the warranty fixed and things that needed to be fixed but were not covered by the warranty, The tire sensors were never mentioned. He then says he put on another sensor but did not have the proper machine to program it. Now all my sensors are fluctuating up and down. He told me there is nothing he can do about it, after I just spent $695.21 on two tires and the warranty on the car. It is very inconvenient that I had to bring my car up there for 3 days straight and still leave with a broken sensor. On top of that they broke the lug nuts on car so they had to replace them. The manager is not trying to provide a solution to the problem or compensate me for any damages.Business Response
