      My car was taken to Discount Tire through a repair company as a contracted service after an accident and they put my wheel on a brand new tire that was purchased as part of the collision that happened. Discount Tire balanced, and rotated my wheels as part of the service. For a couple weeks after receiving my vehicle back from the repair company (*** ******) I was noticing a sound that wasnt there before. We eventually discovered that it was an issue with the rear wheel, which had been rotated from the front to the back. We took the wheel off and realized that Discount Tire left a balancing cone in the wheel. This was an extreme oversight that would have become deadly had we not figured this out and my wheel would have eventually flew off while driving, likely causing a fatal accident. I have reached out to the companys corporate office who got us in touch with the manager of the local branch and they are refusing to resolve this issue. They are refusing to respond to our emails and have even sent us a letter saying that if they dont hear back from us by the end of May, that they will cancel our claim. However, we have made multiple attempts to get a resolution from them via email which they have previously responded to. At this point, Im not only seeking to have the cost that I paid for the tire reimbursed as well as the rotation and balance fees charged, but I am seeking other resolution in this case beyond that. The cost of the brand new wheel, rotation, balancing was $995. We are seeking other restitution as this has now become an issue beyond what I anticipated since there is a refusal to respond on the business part.

      I do not wish to continue speaking with the claims team as they have been unresponsive to the multiple emails that I have sent and they are not willing to resolve this issue in the manner that I am expecting. I do expect this to be quickly resolved and handled appropriately as I am prepared to move forward speaking with a lawyer to get this handled as well as public reviews being left. 
      Multiple attempts to contact the claims department and customer service in general have not given a satisfactory response or really any response all for the last several weeks. unless discount tire is willing to settle this on my terms, I will continue to go through the BBB to have this corrected.

      On April 16 around 2:30 I took my ****** Solterra in for a tire replacement on the back right. After that repair I noticed my side paneling was coming off. Went to my ****** dealership for routine maintenance and asked if they could look at it. They then inform me that when my car was lifted from the tire repair that it was lifted incorrectly and my framing and bottom of vehicle is now damaged and possibly totaled

      On Friday, May 2nd, I visited the ******* location for a new set of tires and wiper blade replacements. After waiting approximately an hour and a half, I returned to check on the status of my vehicle and noticed that the wiper blades had not been replaced. I brought this to the attention of the manager and technician, and simply requested a refund for the wipers. However, the technician insisted on installing them at that point.While installing the wiper blades, the technician accidentally let one slip, causing it to strike and crack my windshield. He did not offer an apology and appeared shocked before walking away to get the manager. When Manager **** arrived, he acknowledged that the technician did not follow proper protocolshe failed to use a mat or any protective measures. Manager **** stated, I guess I owe you a new windshield, but also failed to offer any apology for the damage or the inconvenience.

      In February, I put 4 new tires on my car - they were Discount Tire's house brand. Since getting the tires, my car shakes, my rotors are destroyed, and the car does not shift or steer appropriately. I have reached out to the company multiple times and they have not responded. I have taken my car to a local mechanic and to *** .. there are no issues with the car itself. I would appreciate resolve for my vehicles sake and the safety of my children.

      On March 31, 2025, I took my car to Discount Tire in *********, ** (************* location) to have the front wheels balanced. When I picked it up, my front bumper was visibly damaged and separating from the bracket. I immediately returned to the store and reported the issue. The manager admitted they didnt know what happened but offered to take care of it by sending it to a local body shop.The repair was poorly done glue was applied instead of proper plastic welding, and several bumper tabs were missing. Over the next few weeks, the bumper continued to separate and worsen. I documented the condition of my car the night before the visit (in perfect shape), the day of the damage, and weeks after the failed repair.When I contacted Discount Tires customer care, I was told the manager never filed a claim, which shocked the representative since this should have been done immediately. Despite providing clear photo evidence and a timeline (you may ask for a copy of this timeline), the insurance team said they couldnt determine fault. They offered $200 as a courtesy instead of a proper resolution. Im filing this complaint because the damage occurred under their care, the repair made things worse, and the claim process failed due to internal mishandling not because of a lack of evidence.

      Had four new tires dismounted so I could have smaller tires installed. All four tires were damaged during dismounting. I would like to have the tires replaced.

      I purchased a set of tires and they were defective and had to be replaced. I had asked the greeter to make sure that they put my hubcaps on correctly. I lost two hubcaps on the way home and they told me to go buy them myself and they would reimburse me. After I posted a poor review, they contacted me and tried to put me on the spot as to why I gave them a poor review.They took no responsibility for their action. I will return the tires and I want my money back.

      I have bought tires at discount for most my life. Today *** decided I will never buy tires again. 2 years ago I got all terrain tires for my truck. I put 30k miles on them and the tread was down to 2/32. The warranty on the tire was allegedly 50k miles. Discount advised they dont cover the warranty once it gets below 2/32 tread. The tire is a discount made tire. If they dont expect it to last that long, dont offer the warranty. I will never purchase from discount tire again. I was told the warranty information is provided with the tires, however I never received any of that information upon purchase nor was I explained that.

      They refused to repair a tire that is clearly within scope to be repaired and when questioned on it they took and added rubber grinding to the inside of the tire to justify the need to replace the tire over doing the flat repair. This is the 3rd time in the last year this l9vation has done this to me. The other 2 times where borderline but this time it was very apparent that they got caught.
