On Jan. 20, 2025 I arrived at Discount Tire for new tires on my 2015 ***** Tahoe. We paid $1,366.52. When we finally got out of there, over 4 hours later, with a new set of tires they said that my tire pressure sensor had something wrong with one of the tires. As I drove across town to doctor appointment I watched the *** number drop. When we got done with the doctor appt about 1/2 hour later the tire was completely flat. I called Discount Tire and they said bring it back and they would look at it. Over an hour later they had the tire back on and said they couldn't figure out what was going on with it but that it was holding air now. We returned home, I don't drive but a couple times a week at most. The next time I went to drive somewhere I had a notification that my tire was low. I aired it up and went on my way. Everytime I went to drive it it was always about 10psi lower than the rest so I would air it up and go on my way. The next time I was able to make it to **********, which is over and hour away, I was shopping at ********** (April 22) so I decided to have them look at it to see why I had a slow leak. Watching them through the window, as soon as they got the tire off they immediately came in and said there was a problem. The valve stem hole was damaged. I paid Fleet Farm $15.81. We called Discount Tire and they said to bring it over and they would take a look at it. Over an hour later, they came and told us they didn't know what happened because they use 'special tools' and this shouldn't have happened. They said they could give us $100 for the hassle or send to claims department. Claims department sent text April 22 that I should be hearing from claims ***** May 12 after multiple calls to them with no answer I called Discount tire and they started processing claim. Discount Tire is the only person to have had anything to do with or take my wheels off since I have owned it. They don't want to take any responsibility or get me a new rim.Business Response

the claims department has done nothing to resolve this issue. They said it is word vs word and they are unable to prove that discount tire did this. Remember discount tire was the only one to touch my tires since I have owned it. If this is not something done by your tire guys, why was nothing said when you put on new tires. I had a slow leak in my back right tire where I had to put air in my tire once a week this happened two times. I was told to just go get it plug up and it should be okay. So I went to Discount Tire they looked at it but said it could not be fixed and that I had to have a new tire. This was on May 3rd. So I bought a new tire and also got the warranty. One week later May 10th the same new tire went completely down, so I had to call *** to put my spare tire on so I could go back to Discount Tire, which I did and this time they told me they could plug it up. To me that is kind of funny when I had a very slow leak that could not be fixed but now I have a completely flat tire that they could put a plug in. And guess what today it is May 14 and now my left back tire is going flat with a slow leak. I'm sorry but I truly think they sabotage my other tire because I was told that all my tires where find when they looked at them on the 3rd and the 10. So when I get of work today I will be going back to Discount Tire to see what they do this time.Business Response

On May 5th, I visited Discount Tire at colonial heights location because I had tires shipped for installation and recieved a call while I was around the corner. I entered discount tire property as i was on the phone with them to come into bay and get my tires replaced under an agreement i had with ****. I did not make a purchase through Discunt Tire directly or at the time and was going to, but I expected proper handling of my vehicle and communication from the staff. Not to be threatened to the point I had to call law enforcement.During the visit, the situation was mishandled. I experienced unprofessional behavior and what I believe to be unauthorized or inappropriate handling of my vehicle. I voiced my concerns and followed up by calling and then sending a detailed email to management on May 5th which is attached to this complaint.Despite allowing time for resolution, I have received no resolution or accountabilty.. . This lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer care is unacceptable. I've been clear that phone calls clearly are not beneficial or taken serious. I do not accept the response provided by Discount Tire. I was told I would receive a written follow-up within two business days. It has now been well beyond that time, and I have received no communication or resolution.This situation stems from an incident involving aggressive behavior from an employee/ Store manager, physical contact with my personal property, and verbal threats. These actions were deeply unprofessional and made me feel unsafe. Whats more troubling is the companys complete lack of accountability since then. Despite being fully aware of the seriousness of the incident, Discount Tire has failed to address it in a meaningful or timely way.The absence of any formal response demonstrates not only negligence but also a disregard for basic customer rights and decency. The way this has been handled, both during the incident and in the days following, raises serious concerns about the conduct and competence of the staff and management involved.I respectfully request that this complaint remain open. I am seeking a formal written response and a proper resolution. Consumers deserve to know how serious incidents like this are treated by a company claiming to value customer service.Its sad that a ********************** of this size would allow such behavior and negligence to go unchecked. This is the second time I have ordered online with Discount Tire where the product was not delivered as promised!1) The first order was for $2038. I followed up with the order to learn they received the order but failed to submit the details to their supplier, therefore, causing me significant delays and unreasonable challenges with this company. When I finally received the order after 9 phone calls and a full week of time, they did not have the ability to install the product as offered with the order in a safe manner.Needless to say, once the tires were installed and paid for ($2038), they do not have the proper air pressure to fill the tires even though they are the tire shop I purchase and install with, so I had to go to use my own portable compressor to fill the tires even though I paid for installation and balance! 2) Foolish me, I trusted the company with my second order because the staff tried hard on the first error to correct the situation. Needless to say again, the second order was received and paid for but the company, Discount Tire and their vendor did not fulfill the order after 5 days I followed up and learned the order was not placed with their vendor therefore my pending appointment is delayed/cancelled since they don't have the product, even though I paid for the product with their website! They are collecting money as with the first order and not fulfilling the product delivery. Each order I place on their website is paid in full at the time of submission and both times noted above I followed up days later to learn they have the order but "forgot" to issue the details to their vendor, therefore, delaying my time and expected fulfillment. This is a pattern with Discount Tire I had not expected, especially the second time I placed the order.I have been using Discount Tire for over 20 Years and I will never use them again - what a terrible experience! On Jan 27, 2025, I went to Discount Tire for a basic tire change. Within 10 minutes of leaving, I noticed visible rim damage and returned to the store. I filed a store complaint within 10 minutes of discovering the damage, contacted ***************** and Ive kept a full paper trailevery email, timestamp, and photo is documented. A managernot the store managercame out, inspected the wheel, and chipped off a piece of my rim with his finger, claiming it was painted over by a previous shop. That was a complete lie. These rims had been professionally refinished just 2 weeks earlier after an accident and were in near-perfect condition.After that, the same manager who damaged my rim called menot to apologize, but to question why I filed a complaint. That was not follow-upthat was retaliation. It was defensive, inappropriate, and especially unprofessional coming from someone who had just damaged my property and then tried to deflect ******** prove it, I drove from ******* to ***** to visit the shop that performed the repair. They confirmed they do not paint rimsthey sand and refinishand even offered to speak directly with Discount Tire The store manager finally called and told me to get quotes. I followed through. When I called back, the same regular manager denied everything and offloaded the issue to Fleet Response. On Feb 24, they reached out. I submitted clear photos showing **tool marks and a damage pattern starting from the inside of the rim**something curb rash cannot cause.On March 7, Fleet Response denied the claim, echoing the stores false story. They admitted they only reviewed my photosno calls to the store, no review, no contact with the repair shop. Every follow-up question I asked was ignored.Discount Tire damaged my property, lied to my face, twisted the story, then called to pressure me for standing up for myself. Discount Tire damaged my car by leaving an industrial lock above one of my wheels. I complained about the noise immediately and after several visits Discount Tire let me drive off placing my life and other peoples lives in danger. I noticed this lock while stopping for gas. I am grateful to have been stubborn enough to not have taken the advice of the employees at Discount Tire, otherwise the damage would have been a lot worse. Even though the industrial lock clearly belongs to discount tire, as they have others in their shop that look the same, they are refusing to accept fault and pay for damages. This is not just about damages but correcting their process so this does not happen to other consumers in the future. As a place that is advertised to be tire experts it is surprising to make such a rookie mistake. This incident has cost me money, time, and sleep, further preventing me to perform well at work and handle other priorities. I am submitting this formal complaint regarding Discount Tire in *******, **, and their refusal to honor a tire replacement certificate I purchased for my 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance. I bought four certificates for ************** 275/30R20 tiresextra load radial tubeless tires designed for heavy electric vehicles. I was explicitly told these certificates would cover road hazard damage.Approximately one week ago, while driving in ************, I struck a large piece of metal that had fallen from a truck on the freeway. The impact caused visible sidewall damage to one of the rear tires. Upon returning to *********, I took the vehicle to Discount Tire and spoke with Sales Manager *****. I explained the incident and requested a replacement under the certificate. He was abrupt and stated that unless metal was showing, the tire would not be replaced. This contradicts both the certificates intent and Pirellis guidelines, which recommend replacementnot repairfor sidewall *********. ***** did discover a piece of metal lodged in the tread and chose to repair the tire. Although I disagreed, I did not press further as it was clear he would not honor the certificate. After returning home, I also discovered a new **** on my wheel, which I believe occurred during the repair.Driving on a heavy electric vehicle with sidewall damage poses serious safety concerns. I am including supporting photos of the tire damage, the wheel ****, and my certificate receipts. I am filing a formal complaint against a formal complaint against America's Tire located at *******************************************************************************. On February 28, 2025, I purchased two tires and a corresponding insurance policy, based on the explicit assurance from an America's Tire representative that the insurance would cover tire replacements.Within two months, the tires became excessively worn and unsafe for driving. America's Tire denied my claim for replacement, stating the wear was due to mechanical problems. However, a certified mechanic's inspection confirmed that the tire wear resulted from defective tires sold by America's Tire, and that there are no mechanical issues with my ********** a direct result of America's Tire's refusal to honor the insurance agreement, I was forced to purchase two new tires on May 5, 2025, to ensure my vehicle's safe operation. America's Tire sold me defective tires and is unfairly refusing to honor the insurance agreement. To resolve this issue, I insist that America's Tire:Refund the cost of the two new tires purchased on May 5, 2025.Replace the original defective tires purchased and installed on February 28, 2025, at no cost.Pertinent documentation including the transaction processed in my banking app (from purchase on 2/28/25) and the purchase receipt on 5/5/25 is attached.Business Response

April 24, 2025 I took my 2014 Dodge Caravan to get tire rotated at Discount Tire ***********************************************. I left the van to get serviced, after a while I receive a call saying that I need to purchase 2 new tires because 2 tires were worn down. I given the approval to go along with the 2 new tires purchase. Shortly later I received another call stating that the tech couldnt get the front right tire off because of the ********** nut. (NOTHING WAS WRONG PRIORThe employee advised me to come get the van and take it to a shop to get the stud removed then bring the van back to them and they will put the other tire on. I picked the van up and noticed the the front driver tire ********** look like it were damaged from the tech who worked on my van. Also a lug were left off the passenger front tire. I talk with the salesperson to pay. I was instructed on what to do so I can get the work completed. I take the van to a mechanic to get the damaged ********** removed and replaced. This cost me $170.00 labor plus part $8.56. On 4-29-25 I returned to Discount Tire to get my tire put on. I walked into the work area to see that my tires are being switched around. I was told that the new tires were gonna be on the front but instead they had put those on the back. One of the techs said they had crisscross the tires. I told them to put my old tires in the trunk but I didnt receive those back. So after my van is complete I drive a few blocks then I notice the steering off balance. I drive back spoke with the manager name ****. He test drove the van.. **** came over to tell me that I need a wheel alignment. I told him that I bought tires plenty of times before and never experience the steering being off like this. I asked him what would make that happen just for putting on tires. Again this is another problem that I have to pay for. Im upset about this situation. Alignment will cost me $115.. **** was so rude, he answer a called and never said excuse me. ,Business Response
