      I've made numerous good faith attempts to work with Discount Tire. Over the last 3 months, I've tried to order a set of tires and have them installed. However, each time I make an appointment, and try to get this done, there's an issue that crops up. At first it was a truck delay, then they claimed the tires I wanted were discontinued, and again another truck delay. The business has not made any calls to remind me when the tires were in, and prior to each appointment, I've called to make sure the tires are in, and once I arrive, they say that they're not available to install. I've attached a full history of what has happened to date. I'm seeking to get these tires for free, or a significant price adjustment since I've made countless trips and spent countless hours trying to get 2 tires installed since the beginning of April.

      On 12/22/22 I had gone to this location to get my tires changed from all season to winter tires. I had brought my winter tires with me and was informed that two of the winter tires did not have enough tread to be used in the winter and that two of the current tires on my vehicle were not good (which I later realize is incorrect). I then purchased two winter tires and was informed to keep the two old winter tires and use those during the summer with the other two okay all season tires. I had paid either 300 or 400 dollar is cash and the rest of the $65.92 on card. Recently I went to a different tire place switched winter tires off and went to get my two all season and two "not enough tread to be considered winter" tires on. Which I was then informed from the new place was not the best idea since they have different tread amounts. I then got to thinking why this was. I had talked to my step dad who is a car mechanic and he had originally purchased the all season tires in spring/summer of 2022. The all season tires he had purchased were good for 80k miles and there was absolutely no way they could have gone bad after *****k miles. He informed me that this discount tire had misinformed me of two of these tires being of no good so they could take them and sell them since they were worth a good amount of money. I am filing this complaint because I believe I was misinformed and deceived by this business.

      A handful of months ago I came in to get my tires replaced. One of the service workers came out and told me that one of my studs had cracked off and that I should get it replaced. I replaced all of my spacers that include their own studs that are more durable than the studs on the hub itself. A few months after that I had my tires rotated, just today my wife called me and sent a picture showing me four studs had snapped off leaving only one holding a tire on. So then I had to go replace the spacer in the rain at a ********* parking lot north of ******* an hour away from home. When I went to remove the remaining nut the foot pounds were well past the specification of 95 foot pounds. My wife and her friend could have died because of negligence. I will never be coming back to this location.

      On 6/22/2023 at 8 AM, I went in to have my tire fixed. After an employee inspection of the tire and a quick chat with the employee taking care of my car, he tried to enter my car and unlocked the door, but could not get in. The employee pulled too hard and broke the handle from the outside which made a cracking sound. He did apologize for it and said, "We will try and get it fixed for you". He did not know my driver's side door sticks and needed to be pushed in a bit and then pulled open, but he didn't have to pull so hard that he broke the handle. After that, I looked at the door handle and said the handle wasn't broken before he broke it that the door couldn't open. I then unlocked all the doors from the trunk. I opened the passenger door and reached over to open the driver's side door so he can get in. It opened but was very hard to pull the handle from the inside which didn't do before the outside damage to the handle. He then pulled the car into the garage bay to have the tire fixed. About ***** minutes later, my car was finished. Another employee pulled out my car and parked it. He could not get out of the car and I had to walk over to open the passenger door to talk to him and ask him what the handle was doing so he could get out. He said the door handle was pulled so he can get out but could not get the door to open. He tried a couple of times and then he got the door handle to open to let himself out of the car. After he was out, he handed me the receipt from the tire being fixed. I then went back into the store to talk with the original guy who broke the car handle. I asked what was going to be done about the damage. He said he spoke with his manager about it and then began to argue a little about what he did and didn't do. He said that I told him to push the door in to use that as a defense as if he didn't do any damage but did say he would put in a claim for the repair. He did admit and apologized for what he did before the car was serviced for the tire.

      On 6/21/23, I made an appointment for a tire inspection at this location. I had been having ongoing air loss with my newer vehicle, a 2022 ****** Corolla, and had been stopping by this location for several months to have the air checked. On or about 5/19/22, one tire was significantly lower than the rest and at that time, I also had a tire inspection. A small s**** was discovered in the right front tire, and the business patched the tire. On this date, I was informed my left front tire was irreparable due to a nail and I would need a new tire. The tire's total cost was almost $200. At that time, the associate offered me the opportunity to buy coverage for all the other tires, which would ensure if another tire had damage, I would get a replacement for free, outside of disposal and associated costs. I asked if this coverage was always offered, why no one had ever mentioned it during one of the many times I had been to the business with this vehicle. The associates in the store all said they were sorry, and one said he always tells his employees to let customers know about the offer, but he can't guarantee they do so. I wrote to corporate to ask for a refund for the difference, since it seems the store had a duty to let me know about buying the coverage for my tires and failed to do so despite having ample opportunity to communicate the coverage to me. I've incurred an extra estimated $179.75 with having to buy a brand new tire that could have been covered. I am requesting that money back. The business is not serving its customers honestly and with integrity by withholding information about a covered service that is not posted, advertised, or offered anywhere except IF an employee chooses to share the information.

      I went in for service to have my tires replaced with an appointment. However they said it would take an hour and I had to go get my daughter in 45 min from that time. I left and went to get my daughter. We went back for the tire service and while we waited I left to get my daughter food and 20 minutes after check in I get 12 calls in 10 minutes to pick up the car. My daughter and I leave lunch to get back were rushed out and they make us go into the service area to get the car out ourselves. The service area was amiss multiple services and powertools in use while I walked in with my daughter

      I order two tire from the store in ******* ** see below address I first has a quotation from they said they will match the price which they did but they gave me different brand not only that but they gave me old product almost one year old 25/22 which is not expectable they don't even tell me before they install I called the store manager they tell me first that they will not be able to change it for me for this reasons even though I explain that I didn't feel comfortable I am really so upset and i need to refund my money and you get your tire i can't drive the car since I purchase the tire Discount Tire www.discounttire.com *************************************************************************** ~**** mi **************

      Not even a year ago I paid ****** dollars for a set of tires with in that year I was back at discount for them to change two of my tires out because my tires felt funny and they found out it was something wrong with my tires . They charged me again ****** to replace the tires . Now here Im again not even ****** miles later and they telling me I need to buy two more new back tires and they would give me a discount so I would have to pay another ****** something dollars for the tires and for them to put it on . I just want my hard earn money back or at least some of it back
