      June 13th 2022 $389 I was forced into buying tires stating that I couldnt leave without buying them. They stated that my tires were full of plugs and I couldnt patch the tire that I originally came in for. After being forced to buy two new tires I took the old ones with me to see what they were talking about. They lied about all the so called plugs and patches in my tires. The tires where brand new and they wanted to claim that they werent. When I asked for the receipt they refused to give it to me.

      Sent my minor son (17yrs old) to local discount tire to get one rear flat tire repaired. I am disabled and housebound per the VA. He came back home with two brand new tires and charged $540 to my credit card which was not an authorized charge. The tires they put on do not match the fronts and there is even a warning in bold print on their own receipt that says this can cause problems. They could not offer me any solutions that would have the tires match. My local ******* was able to match and install the correct tires. I gave discount tire back their tires and would like a full refund. I have proof of my disability and the tires receipts, pics etc if needed.

      On wendsday December 14th I had an appointment to have brand new rims installed on my tahoe. They did break 2 center caps on the old rims during this time they charged me to replace them , alot! I found a set of 4 on Amazon for only *****. But they also some how lost or outright stole 3 brand new center caps that came with my new rims. They claim they were not in the boxes. I know they were there because the night before I waxed each rim and the caps were on them, I did not take them off. But amazingly they had 1 of the new ones to put on were one of the broken old ones was but somehow the other 3 are now gone. I did not realize they were gone until I went to sell the old rims.I reported all of this to corporate. The **********. Location then called me claiming they would like to make it right but upon returning to the store that's the last thing they wanted to do. They did refund our credit card and we returned the center caps that they bought but that was it.I will not return to that location ever again.

      I went into discount tire store :**** *************************************************************************** For a flat repair under warranty which I purchased beforehand. The associate and manager said I had to buy a new tire for a couple reasons. They could not find my information for warranty which I had shown them and they eventually found it after the fact. Also , after saying the tire was damaged ,claimed it was due to my vehicle causing it. They had put me in a bad situation because they did not want to honor my warranty and I had to go to work . Also they claimed it was an alignment issue after saying it was a damage tire. Stores associates are not ase certified or alignment specialists, so that kind of claim was not correct. To counter the problem they just tried to sell me a tire at a discount rate instead of honoring my warranty.It was very unprofessional and frustrating to be treated in such a rude manor. I spent approximately $100 for the tire, service and labor associated with the transaction.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me if they investigate the issue and refund me the money I was forced to pay.       RE Invoice ******* On Dec 18, 2022, I contacted Discount Tire (**) to buy two tires, each showing on the ** website as ****** (each).I telephone and spoke with a salesperson. He said the tires would arrive to the Highland, IN Dt location the next day. I asked and was told with clarity that installation was included in the 185 for each tire.On Dec 19, I arrived with my car.I was charged approx ***** for installation despite what I had been told a day earlier.Additionally, I was charged **** for tire disposal although I took the tires with me. When I called the location to complain, I was not given adequate assistance.

      On November 7, I bought (4) new tires. When I picked up my Lexus, I immediately noticed that all (4) of my wheels were scratched badly. When I walked back into the store, ****** said that he noticed that the store damaged them. My first thought was why he didn't say something to me? I guess he was trying to see if I noticed. After he spoke with his Manager, he said that they would pay for the damage. I asked him to put this in writing, and he did. After a week of trying to get ahold of the store manager (*****), I had to file a complaint with corporate. After I filed a complaint with corporate, the store Manager (*****) immediately returned my call. He said his store would pay for the damages, and asked that I get an estimate from *****. I did get him an estimate, and supplied numerous photos of the damage. He agreed to pay for this, and sent it to his insurance company: **************. Now, ************** is non responsive. If you ****** this company, this is a common theme. I have $6500 in damages that this store admits it was *their* fault, but their claims company doesn't respond. Unfortunately, if this cannot be resolved by filing complaints with the BBB, ** Attorney General, and other offices, I may have to file suit.

      Recently we purchased tires from the *********** location . The service was horrible and they sent my daughter away with a non completed job because they lied and did not do her tires u til 6 pm closing time . The vehicle appointment was 12 pm x They called her at 5:30 stating the car was ready to be picked up however it was not. In fact it was not started. They moved the car into the bay at 5:55 which was 5 min before closing and tried to rush a job . They didnt take the time to get one tire off as the bolt was on there pretty tight . Instead they told her it would be **** to break it and it would cause damage. Then instead of doing the right thing the put the old tires minus one in her car. Leaving the one on the back which was a different size and low profile. She called me in tears and they pretty much kicked her and saying to bad we cant help you . This was a dangerous move she had to drive the car away in bad weather and still get to work. Essentially she ended up stranded with the one tire popping due to the imbalance . We took the car to a little mom and pop shop and he was appauled they even let her leave as it was not safe. He quickly in 5 minutes got the bolt off and replaced the tire. I am requesting that a full refund be given for tires and wheels due the the inept decision taken by this store. I have called and no return call from them to this day.

      I had 4 new tires previously purchased from another retailer that Discount Tire installed for me on 12/15/2022. At first I was told the cost would be $488 for the installation. I rejected this many times due to not wanting to purchase protection certificates. I was then told the price would be $228. I balked at this price but I needed the service done and reluctantly agreed. My tires were unsafe in wet conditions and needed to be replaced. As they had the tires off, I received an itemized email detailing the cost. I was charged for a mount and dismount of each tire. How can a new tire be installed without removing the old tire? Why does that come as a separate cost? Im am really confused about future rotations and balances. The rotation is free but each rebalance will cost $20 per tire. Why? No where does it say with the online descriptions that a rebalance is not included in the installation without the purchase of a certificate as I was told in store. I feel as though my purchase of the tires from another retailer led me to being punished by Discount Tire for choosing them as the installer. Is overcharging customers acceptable?

      I have ordered 4 tires on the 3rd of July for $1160.24.Received an invoice on the 7th of July with two different TOTAL values (invoice attached):Card Total: $1160.24 Total: $1,033.24 On the 7th of July my card was charged $1,033.24 by DISCOUNT TIRE WEB 02 ************ AZ.On the 7th of July they again charged my card $1,160.24 by TIRES.COM-ONLINE-ORDER ************ AZ.I have not authorized the charge for $1,033.24.Called customer service, they said there was an error, however I can only get my money back by filing a dispute with my credit card company.I have been trying to dispute the charge for 4 months with no result.Contacted the company multiple times, but no response.
